age 76; former Jeffersonville resident
Memorial services for William Duffy Kramer, 76, formerly of Jeffersonville, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 11 at Tohoma National Cemetery
in Maple Valley, Washington. The body has been cremated. He died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 in Maple Valley, Washington.
He was retired from Olypmia Pipe Line and was a Marine Corp Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Zoie Jamison Kramer; a son, Charles Harvey Kramer; daughter, Zoe Berth Kramer Chambers; three grandchildren, Katie and Kim Chambers and Mitch Kramer; a brother, John F. Kramer, Vero Beach, Fla.; and five sisters, Pauline Royse, Clarksville and Mary E. Jenkins, Ann Vissing, Patricia Niehaus and Dolores J. Oliver, all of Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Mary Glenna Kramer; two brothers, Charles E. Kramer, Jr. and George Y. Kramer and a sister, Lillian M. Blueher.

Raymond D. Mullins
age 57; of Henryville
Funeral services for Raymond D. Mullins, 57, of Henryville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at R.D. Pyke Funeral Services in Henryville with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery
in Otisco. He died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and he carried mail in Jeffersonville for more than 28 years.
Survivors include his father, Eldridge Mullins, Henryville; his wife, the former Linda Sue Gray Mullins, Henryville; a son, Brian Mullins and his wife, Joyce, Henryville; a daughter, Kimberly Nye and her husband, Fred Huber, Hardinsburg; three brothers, Jimmy, John and Lewis Mullins, all of Henryville; two sisters, Lazondra Headrick, Henryville and Kathy Smith, Ashland, Ky.; and three grandchildren, Tiffany Mullins, Alex Nye and Ashley Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Mullins.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, April 10 and from noon to 8 p.m. Friday.
Robert William Pace, Sr.
age 75; Army veteran
Robert William Pace, Sr., 75, of Jeffersonville, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Clarksville.
He was an Army veteran of the
Korean War, the retired President of Pace Oil Equipment Company, Inc., past President of the Louisville Oil Men's Club, a member of the Kentucky Petroluem Marketers Association, Past President of the Jeffersonville Optimist Club and a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife, Constance Rose Pace, Jeffersonville; three sons, Robert "Chip" Pace Jr., Shelbyville, Ky. and Keith Steven Pace and Clayton Joseph Pace, both of Jeffersonville; a daughter, Maureen "Marcy" Nutter, Jeffersonville; a sister-in-law, Janie Bennett, Jeffersonville; two nieces, Kathy Niemann and Beverly Shane, both of Utica; a nephew, Greg Bennett, Jeffersonville; 10 grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wilson Pace and his mother, Virginia Bennett.
The body has been cremated and at his request there will be no memorial services.

Harold Edward Watt
age 84; World War II veteran
Funeral services for Harold Edward Watt, 84, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11 at Scott Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel, with burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired production stock locater for Naval Ordinance, a member of Park Place United Methodist Church, and a member of Clark Masonic Lodge 40 F & AM. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Donald Watt, Jeffersonville; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Watt, Jeffersonville; a brother, Robert Watt, Jeffersonville; a sister-in-law, Joyce Watt, Jeffersonville; two grandsons, Donnie Watt, Jeffersonville and Vincent Watt, Greenville; a step grandson, Doug McCrocklin, New Albany; and two great grandchildren, Taylor Watt, Greenville and Hayley Watt, Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Leah Watt, his father, Byron T. Watt and his mother, Nellie M. Watt.
Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, April 10.

age 62; Navy veteran
Graveside services for William W. Hess, 62, of Louisville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11 at New Albany National Cemetery, with American Legion Post 204 Color Guard officiating. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Oak Park Baptist Church. He died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
He was a native of Coal Township, Penn., a press operator for Alcoa Company, a Navy veteran and a member of Oak Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hess; a son, James Hess, Louisville; a daughter, Kristine Hess, Louisville; his mother, Mae Hess, Garland, Texas and a brother, Richard Alfred Hess, Garland, Texas.
The body was cremated.

Virginia Stemler Akers
age 91; retired legal secretary
Funeral services for Virginia Stemler Akers, 91, of Clarksville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Scott Funeral Home, North Chapel, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Westminster Healthcare Center, Clarksville.
She was a retired legal secretary and a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Jeffersonville.
Survivors include two stepsons, Robert D. Akers, Las Cruces, N.M. and Edwin L. Akers, Taylorsville, Ill., four step grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Akers and parents, John Carl and Rose Stemler.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 6.

age 79; of Charlestown
Funeral services for Lillian Agnes Harrison, 79, of Charlestown, will be held at 1 p.m. CDT Friday, June 6, at A.F. Crow & Sons Funeral Home, Glasgow, Ky., with burial in Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. She died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at her home.
She was a native of Glasgow, a retired cafeteria worker for Greater Clark County School and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Charlestown.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Laney, Valley Springs, Calif., Joyce Harbin, Sellersburg and Jeanette Stepp, Fresno, Calif.; four sisters, Helen Taylor, Edith Piecry and Bobby Huddleston, Glasgow, Ky. and Louise Barttlet, Clarkshill, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Elbert M. "Bo" Whitehouse, 81, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville. He died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Green Meadows Health Care, Mt. Washington, Ky.
He was a retired railroad detective for the K. & I.R.R., a World War II Army veteran and a member of Grand Lodge of Kentucky and F. & A.M. Aurora 633.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Ruth Smith Whitehouse.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Rose Hodges, Robert Weber and wife, Barbara, Sandra McCoy and husband, Roderick, Emil W. Whitehouse and wife, Rebecca; sister-in-law, Jessie Whitehouse, cousins, Jane Heneisen, Luise Schnakenburg and husband Otto and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by his wife, Della Ruth Smith Whitehouse.
