UNION - R D Thimlar, 68, of Wayne Street, was found dead at 8:43 p.m. Friday at Coverdale Lake. The Cass County Sheriff's Department determined the death was an accidental drowning. Survivors include a daughter, Laurie Quigg of South Bend; a son, Leslie of Bristol; three sisters, June Springler of Tucson, Ariz., and Jane Hamilton and Barbara Garvin, both of Fort Wayne; and three brothers, Theodore of Winter Garden, Fla., Frank of Fort Wayne and Melvin of Elkhart.
