Frank J. Cenova

Frank J. Cenova, 83, formerly of Sundown Road, South Bend, Ind., died at 3:10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31, in the Saint Joseph Care Center.
He was born on Oct. 30, 1915, in Bloss - burgh, Pa., and lived in this area for 82 years. Mr. Ce - nova was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Bertha (Brzezinski) Cenova; and by a sister, Margaret Putz.
He retired from Allied Signal in 1980 after 38 years of service. Mr. Cenova was a veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Bendix Retirees Club.
On June 29, 1940, in South Bend, he married
Blanche Krol, who survives.
He is also survived by three sons, Nick (Kathy) Cenova of South Bend, Timothy (Jane) Cenova of St. Louis, Mo., and Christopher (Peggy) Cenova of Hagerstown, Ind.; six grandchildren, Stephen and Amy Cenova, both of South Bend, Judy Cenova of Indianapolis, Ind., Andrea Stanley and Valerie Cenova, both of St. Louis, and Elizabeth Cenova of Hagerstown; a sister, Julia Hayes of South Bend; and by a brother, Leonard Cenova of South Bend.
Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a combined Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. by the parish and the Married Men's Club of St. Casimir Catholic Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Joseph cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Family Catholic Church Building Fund, 56405 Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46619.
Debra L. Davis

Miss Debra Lynn Davis, 37, of 509 South Falcon Street, South Bend, Ind., departed this life on Friday, Jan. 29, in Memorial Hospital.
She was born to the union of A.J. and Willie V. Davis on Dec. 1, 1961. She was preceded in death by her father, A.J. Davis; and by her grandmother, Viola Seward.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Willie V. Davis of South Bend; four sisters, Dolly Mae Watson of South Bend, Marilyn Bradford of Los Angeles, Calif., Ida Stephenson of St. Louis, Mo., and Rosemary Dinda of Utica, N.Y.; two brothers, Charles Lee Green, Sr., and Ronald Green, Sr., both of South Bend; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. and funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday in Saint Paul Bethel Church, with interment following in Highland cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clark - O'Neal Funeral Home.
Donnabelle Gesto
July 15, 1913 - Jan. 31, 1999
Donnabelle Gesto, 86, of S. Pine Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31, in Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home, Walkerton, Ind.
Mrs. Gesto was born on July 15, 1913, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of the late William and Goldie (Henderson) Stayton. On Nov. 18, 1933, in South Bend, as the former Donna Stayton, she married
Stanley Gesto, Sr., who also preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1976.
Mrs. Gesto is survived by a son, Stanley (Mary) Gesto, Jr., of New Carlisle, Ind.; a granddaughter, Laura (Duane) Krauter of Mishawaka; and by a great - granddaughter, Peggy Krauter, and a great - grandson, Drew Krauter, both of Mishawaka.
Mrs. Gesto was employed by the former Robertson's Department Store in South Bend as well as the former Hook's Drug Store. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home, with Rev. Don Carpenter of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview cemetery, Mishawaka.

Survivors include two daughters, Andree Allen and Regina Allen, both of Elkhart; two sons, Marcus Allen and Wallace Coleman, both of Elkhart; four sisters, Pearlie M. Scott of Elkhart and Odessa Mathis, Valarie Patrick and Ruthie M. Brown, all of Grand Rapids; and two brothers, Robert Brown of Elkhart and Tom Brown of Anderson, Ind.
