Constantine Mighion
Nov. 6, 1959 - March 30, 1999
Constantine "Dean" Mighion, 39, of U.S. 31 North, Niles, Mich., fell asleep in the Lord after a brief illness at 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in Santa Monica Hospital, Tijuana, Mexico.
Mr. Mighion was born on Nov. 6, 1959, in Mount Clemens, Mich., as the son of Arthur and Georgia (Demos) Mighion. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur in 1977 and his mother, Georgia, in 1965.
He was a graduate of Albion College, the owner of the former Bowris Family Restaurant, and most recently, the owner of Dean's Homeplate Restaurant in Niles.
Mr. Mighion is survived by his stepmother, Mary Mighion of South Bend; a sister, Sandra Mighion of South Bend; a brother, George Mighion, D.D.S., of South Bend; his grandmother, Areti; as well as by several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, Ind.
A Trisagion Service will be at 7 p.m. on Friday in the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church, 52455 N. Ironwood, South Bend, with Rev. Christ Kontos officiating. Burial will be on Monday, April 5, in Clinton Grove cemetery, Mount Clemens.

Lillian A. Peterson
Aug. 25, 1909 - March 30, 1999
Lillian A. Peterson, 89, of 304 N. Jefferson Street, North Liberty, Ind., passed away after an extended illness at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton.
She was born on Aug. 25, 1909, in Logansport, Ind. and lived here since 1927 coming from Rankin, Ill.
She was married
on June 27, 1927, in South Bend, to Orville A. Peterson. He passed away on Aug. 4, 1961. Together they operated a restaurant and the O.A. Peterson Photography Shop in North Liberty for many years.
Mrs. Peterson is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Peterson of North Liberty; four sons, Thomas of North Liberty, James of LaPorte, John of South Bend and Earl of Maitland, Fla.; six grandchildren; seven great - grandchildren; a great great - grandchild; and by a sister, Dorothy Thomas of Dewitt, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Harris; a sister, Ella Rader; and by a son, Jerry Lee.
She was a member of the North Liberty Church of the Brethren and was the youth superintendent for many years.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the church and officiated by Everett and Lois Shattuck, co - pastors. Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Helping Hand Fund of the Brethren Church.
Johnnie Mae Petty
Dec. 7, 1934 - March 26, 1999
Ms. Johnnie Mae Petty, loving mother, grandmother and sister, 64, of North Brookfield Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away following an extended illness at 1:20 a.m. on Friday, March 26, in her residence.
On Dec. 7, 1934 in St. Louis, Mo., she was born to Mertle McIntosh, who preceded her in death. Coming from St. Louis in 1969 she moved to South Bend. In February of this year she retired from Astar Inc. after 10 years of service.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Clarence Petty of South Bend; one daughter, Gloria Harper of South Bend; one son, Jimmy McIntosh of Westville, Ind.; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Stocking of St. Louis; and two brothers, Harry Bellingsley of Minneapolis, Minn. and Jimmy Bellingsley of St. Louis; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, with visitation occurring one hour prior to services.
Alford's Mortuary is in charge of handling the arrangements.
Samuel A. Williams
June 28, 1930 - March 27, 1999
Mr. Samuel Arthur Williams, 68, dear husband, father, grandfather and brother, who resided on South Kenmore Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away following a lengthy illness at 5:25 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center.
On June 28, 1930, in Stephens, Ark., he was born to the union of Erven and Edna (White) Williams. Coming from Stephens, he moved to South Bend in 1938.
In South Bend, he was united in wedlock to Lois E. Stirtmire on Oct. 20, 1989.
Mr. Williams retired in 1986 as a self - employed entrepreneur. In 1952, he was honorably discharged from the United States Marines and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9733.
Family members who will cherish his memory include his wife, Lois Williams; three daughters, Corlette "Corky" (Monti) Beauchamp and Erica Williams, both of South Bend and Karen Moody of Chicago, Ill.; six sons, Michael Dearmond, Craig (Cheryl) Williams, Kevin Williams and Arthur (Erin) Williams, all of South Bend, Billy Benman of California, and Samuel A. (Hattie) Williams, Jr. of Chicago; six sisters, Mildred (Edward) Denny and Shirley (Carl, Sr.) Pope of South Bend, Jean Williams, Kathryn Williams and Kizzy McGee, all of Oakland, Calif., and Sara (Sam) Sodaka of Chicago; two brothers, Joe Williams of Massillon, Ohio and Daniel (Devon) Williams of Oakland; 24 grandchildren; and 46 great - grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry; his mother and father; a sister, Milrean; and by three brothers, Erven Jr., Lloyd and James.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

ELKHART - Nancy R. (Myers) Beam, 60, of 54281 Berkley Ave., died Tuesday in Elkhart General Hospital.
