Funeral services for Linda D. Dello, 59, of Conneaut, Ohio, were held Friday, Aug. 30, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Conneaut. She died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Conneaut, a 1961 graduate of Conneaut High School and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Guild, the visitation team and the women's circle.
Survivors include her husband, Robert R. Dello; three daughters, Susan K. Reinke and Patricia A. Rhoades, Conneaut and Elizabeth A. Lehtonen, Lawton, Okla.; two sons, Ronald J. Spaller, Madison, Ohio and Donald D. Spaller., Ravenna, Ohio; three sisters, Janice Woodworth, Conneaut, Cynthia Floyd, Charlestown and Marcia Robinson, Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, John Floro, Charlotte, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Iran J. and Helen K. Flora.
Visitation was held Friday at the church.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to either the Abiding Memorial of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Hospice of Ashtabula County.

Arlie F. Gibson
age 64; of Corydon
Funeral services for Arlie F. "Chub" Gibson, 64, of Corydon, were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home. He died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at his home.
He was a retired employee of International Harvester/Navistar in Louisville and was a member of Pisgah Masonic Lodge in Corydon and the Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine in Indianapolis. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2950 in Corydon and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include his wife, the former Joan Quebbeman; two daughters, Lisa Gleitz, Corydon and Melanie Schmelz, Lanesville; two brothers, Tom and Robert Gibson, Corydon; sister, Diane Holman, Sellersburg; grandchildren, Joey and Matt Gleitz and Abigail and Mackenzie Schmelz; and great-grandchildren, Jason and Rebecca Gleitz.
Visitation was held Monday at the funeral home.

age 91; homemaker
Funeral services for Christine A. Gunter, 91, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Clark Memorial Continuing Care Unit.
She was a native of Snellville and a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna M. O'Key, Charlestown; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Mary Elizabeth Knies
age 79; of Charlestown
Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Knies, 79, of Charlestown, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sellersburg, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at Medical Center of Southern Indiana.
She was a native of Green County, Ky., a retired employee of Phillip Morris and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sellersburg.
Survivors include a son, David Knies, Charlestown; two daughters, Doris and Linda Knies, Charlestown; three brothers, Robert Bell, Summerville, Ky., Howard Bell, Mt. Sherman, Ky., and Ray Bell, Louisville; two sisters, Mellie DeSpain, Buffalo, Ky., and Ruby Thompson, Louisville; three grandchildren, John Seebold, Jeffersonville, Tom Seebold, Louisville and Suzie Seebold, Chicago, Ill.; and three great-grandchildren, Jarold Thompson and Hunter Seebold, Louisville and Gavin Seebold, Jeffersonville.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Winona M. Marsh
age of New Albany
Funeral services for Winona M. Butner Marsh, of New Albany, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Sellersburg Health & Rehabilitation Center, Sellersburg.
He was a native of Decatur County and a longtime resident of New Albany. She was the former Winona M. Tremain and was the widow of Earl Butner. She was the former Ladies Auxiliary Volunteer of Floyd County Memorial Hospital and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son James E. Butner, Floyds Knobs; a nephew, Robert L. Tremain, Greensburg, who cared for her; seven grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Ralph I. Parr Jr.
age 73; Army veteran
Funeral services for Ralph I. Parr Jr., of N. Fort Myers, Fla., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at his home.
He was a former longtime resident of Clarksville, a United States Army veteran and retired from Louisville Courier-Journal.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Buhler Parr, N. Fort, Myers, Fla.; two sons, Gary Martin Parr, Louisville and Ralph I. Parr III, Indiana; a daughter, Jaime Ann Tyrna, Cape Coral, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the church will be after 10 a.m. Thursday.

age 85; WWII Army veteran
Funeral services for Vernon O. Snider, 85, of New Albany, will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Milltown Cemetery. He died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Green Valley Convalescent Center, New Albany.
He was a native of New Albany, an Army veteran of World War II and retired foreman for Jeffboat, Inc. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda L. Snider; a son, Rick E. Snider, New Albany; two daughters, Judith E. Taylor and Rebecca A. Steenbergen, Clarksville; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Blair "Jack" Tadlock
age 77; of Otisco
Funeral services for Blair "Jack" Jackson Tadlock, 77, of Otisco, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. He died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002.
He was a retired corporate engineer for Ralston Purina.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Tadlock; a son and daughter-in-law, Deon Tadlock, MD and Belinda Braggs, MD of Jackson, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, L. Jill Tadlock Bath and Ron Bath, Louisville; a daughter and her friend, Toni Tuttle, Otisco and Danny Schmidt, New Albany; a brother, Ray Vaught Tadlock, Pageland, S.C.; a sister, Corliss T. Jordan, Pageland, S.C.; five grandchildren, Coari and Stacy Tuttle, Ina de Mattos and Aaron and Ashley Brincko.

Jesse Doyle Beatty
age 96; of Sellersburg
Funeral services for Jesse Doyle Beatty, 96, of Sellersburg, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Scott Funeral Home -- North Chapel, with interment in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, both in Jeffersonville. He died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Sellersburg Health & Rehab Center.
He was a native of Irvington, Ky., and a retired production worker at Devoe Reynolds.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosanna Franz, Henryville, and Dorothy "Lou" Gannon, Palm City, Fla.; a brother, Frank Beatty, Kissimmee, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Catherine Beatty; and his parents, Joseph Clay Beatty and Alice Wilda Beatty.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home.
George "Polly" Dietrich
age 86; of Sellersburg
Funeral services for George D. "Polly" Dietrich, 86, of Sellersburg, will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Garr Funeral Home, with interment at Sellersburg Cemetery. He died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at his residence.
He was retired, after 35 years, from Essroc Cement Company in Speed. He was a member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ, and the Buckner Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Melton David Dietrich, Speed; a daughter, Pamela Dietrich, Speed; two sister, Mary Neville, New Albany, and Laura Prather, Sellersburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home.
