Paul A. Baker
Paul A. Baker, 73, 708 E. Wabash St., died at 3:08 p.m. March 3, 2000, at Home Hospital, Lafayette.
Mr. Baker was a warehouse manager for Kraft Foods, Indianapolis, for 28 years and retired in 1985. He had lived in Sheridan until 1949, when he moved to Frankfort.
He attended Noblesville High School, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving from 1943 - 46. He was a member of First Christian Church, Masonic Lodge 54, and Fraternal Order of Police.
He was born Oct. 5, 1926, in Bakers Corner, to Floyd and Esther Johnson Baker. He married
Betty Baird on March 14, 1947, and she survives.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Frye & Genda Funeral Home, with Pastor John Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Crownview cemetery, Sheridan. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. today.

Irene Crum
Irene Crum, 95, Crawfordsville, died at 11:34 a.m. March 6, 2000, at Williamsburg Healthcare Center there following a brief illness.
Mrs. Crum grew up in the Moran area and had lived in Clinton, Boone and Montgomery counties. She worked at Murphey's Dime Store and Dekalb in Crawfordsville, and was the pet/hobby leader through Farm Bureau for many years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and the Ladies Aid group of Garfield Christian Church near Crawfordsville.
She was born Jan. 5, 1905, in Clinton County, to Coffil and Lora Catron Taylor. She married
Charles D. Crum on July 5, 1927, and he died March 23, 1983.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fred Rodkey officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Marjorie K. Pulley
Marjorie K. Pulley, 74, 531 S. Meadow Lane, died at 8:02 p.m. March 5, 2000, at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital after a six - month illness.

Mrs. Pulley was a farm wife and homemaker. She was a secretary for three years for Herman Colby at Farm Bureau Insurance before her marriage.
She was a 1942 graduate of Jackson Township High School and attended two years at Indiana Business College, Indianapolis. She was a member of Antioch Congregational Christian Church and Jackson Township Home Economics Club, and was a Clinton County Fair volunteer.
She was born July 13, 1925, in Boone County, to Wilbur G. and Edna M. Wrinkle Walker. She married
Wilbur L. Pulley on Feb. 15, 1948, and he survives.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with Pastor Shan Sheridan officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park.
Vonna E. Batts
Vonna E. Batts, 87, 3103 N. CR 1250E, Forest, died at 6:33 p.m. Jan. 11, 2000, at Tipton County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Batts was a homemaker and attended West Point Christian Church.
She was born Aug. 20, 1912, in Clinton County, to Allen "Andy" and Lottie Mae Hobbs Rude. She married
Edwin L. Batts on Nov. 26, 1930, and he died May 3, 1989.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, with the Rev. J.P. Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lawn cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call from 4 - 7:30 p.m. today.
William H. Crum
William H. Crum, 92, 5447 N. CR 400E, Frankfort, died at 6:25 p.m. Jan. 15, 2000, at Wesley Manor Health Care Center after a two - month illness.
Mr. Crum was a lifelong farmer in Clinton County. He also was the first county Weights & Measures inspector. He also did appraisal work and worked as a clerk at several public sales.
He attended grade school in Beard and was a 1925 graduate of Frankfort High School. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, Frankfort Moose and Frankfort Elks lodges, and Clinton County Farm Bureau. He was a 50 - year member and past master of Beard Masonic Lodge.
He was born Oct. 15, 1907, in rural Clinton County, to John H. and Elizabeth Sheets Crum. He married
Rubie Unger in Frankfort on May 26, 1928, and she survives.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with Pastor Judy Stout officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell cemetery. Calling hours are 4 - 7 p.m. today, with a Masonic service at 6:30.

Peggy Joyce Lambert
Peggy Joyce Lambert, 69, Marion, died at 5 a.m. Feb. 12, 2000, at Wesleyan Health Care Center there.
Mrs. Lambert was a homemaker. Formerly of Frankfort, she lived in Marion 28 years. She was a 1949 Frankfort High School graduate.
She was born Jan. 27, 1931, in Frankfort, to Leroy A. and Cleo J. Leslie Malicoat. She married
Kent Lambert on June 3, 1972, and he survives.

Martha M. Scott
Martha M. Clark Reppert Scott, 83, formerly of 1411 Wilshire Court, died at 11:05 a.m. March 2, 2000, in Emmett, Idaho.
Mrs. Scott was a telephone operator at Indiana Bell until retiring in 1974.
She formerly lived in Lima, Ohio, and Lebanon before returning to Frankfort in 1958. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clinton Chapter 6, and a member of the Retired Telephone Pioneers.
She was born Sept. 7, 1916, in Hillisburg, to Vickery O. and Luanna Mechem Clark. She married
Frederick O. Reppert on March 6, 1937, and he died Nov. 8, 1957. She married
Melvin Scott in 1965, and he died in 1975.

Opal G. Koontz
Opal G. Koontz, 82, Thorntown, died at 5 p.m. June 24, 2001, in her home.
Mrs. Koontz had worked at Mallory Controls in Frankfort for 13 years. She was a homemaker and helped work the family farm. She was a member of the Sugar Creek Home Economics Club, the Thorntown Methodist Church and was treasurer of its women's organization.
Mrs. Koontz was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Somerset, Ky., to Leonard and Bertha Ann Moore Baugh. She married
Joseph A. Koontz in Owensburg on March 8, 1938, and he died Jan. 26, 1994.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, Thorntown, with the Rev. Ron Branson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn cemetery. Calling is 3 - 8 p.m. today.

Ruth I. Parse
Ruth I. Parse, 97, Mulberry Lutheran Home, died at 11 a.m. June 24, 2001, there.
Miss Parse was born Aug. 6, 1903, in Carroll County to Oliver H. and Martha Abston Parse. She graduated from Cutler High School in 1921. She retired from Western Electric, Chicago, after working 47 years in its personnel and public relations departments. She lived in Clinton County for 32 years and wintered in Florida for more than 25 years. She was a member of the Geetingsville Presbyterian Church and its Over - Sixty Club.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Neptune Funeral Home, Burlington, with Greg Grant officiating. Burial will be in Geetingsville cemetery. Calling is 5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Alice R. Siller
Alice R. Siller, 54, 409 Sixth St., died June 26, 2001, in St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital.
Mrs. Siller had been a paraprofessional at Kyger Elementary School for 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Ladies Altar and Rosary Society.
She was born Sept. 7, 1946, in Pawnee, Texas, to P.V. and Rebecca Rodriguez. She married
Joe R. Siller Jr. on Feb. 5, 1969, and he survives.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Borawski officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn cemetery. Calling will be 4 - 8 p.m. Friday at Genda Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7:30.
Traci Jo Snapp
Traci Jo Snapp, 23, Lafayette, died at 1:40 a.m. June 26, 2001, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
Miss Snapp was raised in Rossville. She was a 1995 graduate of Rossville High School, where was an academic all - American in her senior year. She attended Purdue University.
Miss Snapp was born July 15, 1977, in Lafayette to Don D. and Carolyn Robbins Snapp.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rossville Presbyterian Church with the Dr. Fred Page officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn cemetery. Calling is 4 - 8 p.m. at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ray Mitchell Jobe
Ray Mitchell Jobe, 69, Raleigh, N.C., died at 11:40 p.m. June 25, 2001, in Wake - Med Memorial Hospital there.
Mr. Jobe was a musician and lived in Frankfort before moving to Raleigh. He was a member of East Washington Street Church of Christ.
He was born Aug. 3, 1931, in Medcalf County, Ky., to John E. and Moss Dubree Jobe. He married
Kathy Vorhees and they divorced.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Green Lawn cemetery. Pastor John Stultz will officiate. Friends may call 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday at Genda Funeral Home.
