Evaleen May Griffey
Evaleen May Griffey, 69, Seminole, Fla., died at 1 a.m. March 16, 2000, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla.
Mrs. Griffey was a homemaker. She had previously worked as a bookkeeper at DeLong's Auto Parts, Kokomo, and then as a secretary at Jefferson School in Kokomo.
She was a 1949 graduate of Delphi High School. She was a life member and former national president of Omega Phi Tau Sorority, and a member of Thursday Bridge Club. She moved from Kokomo to Florida in 1975.
She was born Oct. 30, 1930, in Colburn, to Edward L. and Viola Stroup Pearson. She married
Darrell Griffey on Nov. 21, 1951, and he survives.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, with the Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens cemetery. Friends may call from 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday.
June L. Yeary
June L. Yeary, 71, Scircleville, died at 9:40 p.m. Feb. 21, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center, Kokomo.
Mrs. Yeary was a homemaker and had lived in the Scircleville area for 45 years.
She was born March 23, 1928, in Oliver Springs, Tenn., to Evan and Arlee Brasherars Davis. She married
Ben T. Yeary on Aug. 12, 1950, and he survives.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, with the Rev. Ron DeGraaff officiating. Burial will follow at Normandy cemetery in Tipton County. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday.

Doris Bozworth
Doris Bozworth, 79, Louisville, Ky., died Feb. 23, 2000, at Audobon Hospital, Louisville.
Mrs. Bozworth was a cook for Southwestern High School in Hanover during the 1960s. She was also a homemaker.
She was a member of the Holiday Ramblers Recreation Vehicle Club, Sunshine Extension Homemakers Club, Hanover Baptist Church Widows Group, Hanover Senior Citizens Club and the Hanover Baptist Church. She was a 1939 graduate of Burlington High School.
She was born March 22, 1920, in Middlefork, to Trell and Maude Brittian Catron. She married
Charles E. Bozworth on May 21, 1939, and he died Dec. 27, 1976.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Neptune Funeral Home, Burlington, with the Rev. David Duke officiating. Burial will be at Middlefork cemetery. Calling hours are 3 - 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Stella M. Hayden
Stella M. Hayden, 84, Mechanicsburg, died at 6:15 a.m., Feb. 25, 2000, at her residence.
Mrs. Hayden worked as a clerk at J.C. Penny in Lebanon from 1953 - 1962. She was also a cook for Washington Township school system for many years.
She was a member of the Mechanicsburg Christian Church, Happy Home Ec Club, and the Washington Township Euchre Club.
She was born June 26, 1915, in St. John, Kan., to Benjamin Morford and Emma Williams. She married
Trenton Hayden on Feb. 28, 1933, in Larnord, Kan., and he survives.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mechanicsburg Christian Church with the Revs. Raymond Duff and Dan Shaw officiating. Calling hours are 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, Lebanon. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Green Lawn cemetery, Frankfort.

Fay A. Hunter
Fay A. Hunter, 94, Kirklin, died Feb. 24, 2000, at Clinton House.
Mr. Hunter moved to Kirklin in 1923. He was in the grocery business until 1936. He purchased the Shell service station in 1936, retiring in 1962. He became the director of the Farmers Bank of Frankfort in 1962. He was director for 30 years.
He was a charter member of the Kirklin Lions Club. He was a 50 - year member of the Kirklin Masonic Lodge F&AM; 304. He also was a member of the Indianapolis Scottish Rite and the United Methodist Church. He was a 1922 graduate of Frankfort High School.
He was born Sept. 22, 1905, in Frankfort, to Elvis and Elizabeth Wallace Hunter. He married
Anna Hopewell, of Linden, on Dec. 25, 1927, and she died Dec. 11, 1985.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Kercheval Funeral Home, Sheridan, with the Rev. Emmett Ade officiating. Calling hours are 4 - 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Green Lawn cemetery, Frankfort.
Oscar M. Vail
Oscar M. Vail, 87, 9569 W. CR 100S, Frankfort, died at 12:45 p.m. Feb. 26, 2000, at Clinton County Hospital. He had been a resident of Milner Community Healthcare Center since January 1996.
Mr. Vail worked through Lafayette Carpenters Union Local 215, most often for Gill Contractors, Frankfort. He retired in 1968 after 23 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, from 1941 - 45, serving in the European and African theaters.
He was born Feb. 9, 1913, near Linton, to John and Vina Vandy Vail. He married
Martha Taylor in June 1946, and she died in 1979.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry, with the Rev. Lewis Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Green Lawn cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Hilda T. Musall
Hilda T. Musall, 80, Burlington, died at 6:09 p.m. Feb. 27, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Care, Kokomo.
Mrs. Musall was a homemaker. She also had worked at RCA and Bryan's in Monticello. She attended school in Idaville and lived many years there. She also lived 25 years in Burnettsville and nine years in Burlington.
She was a member of Burlington Church of Christ, and had previously attended Idaville Church of God.
She was born March 23, 1919, in Iroquois, Ill., to Aeise H. and Dorthea Jensen Peters. She married
Oliver F. Musall on March 23, 1937, and he died April 3, 1962.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Idaville Church of God, with Bob Hine and the Rev. Alvin Rockey officiating. Burial will follow at Idaville cemetery. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Neptune Funeral Home, Burlington, and 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Barbara Lou Applegate
Barbara Lou Applegate, 65, 458 First St., died at 4:15 p.m. Feb. 29, 2000, at Clinton County Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Applegate worked as a manager and waitress at several restaurants in Frankfort and Clinton County. She attended Frankfort High School, and had lived 12 years in San Antonio, Texas.
She was born April 22, 1934, in Frankfort, to Theodore F. and Dorothy L. Wilson Cole. She married
Wayne P. Brandenburg and they divorced. She married
John F. Applegate on June 20, 1956, and he died in 1988.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lewis Smith officiating. Burial will be at Bunnell cemetery, and a bereavement dinner will follow at the V.F.W. post. Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be made to Victory Chapel, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
Agda J. Gregg
Agda J. Gregg, 99, Kokomo, died at 8:40 p.m. Feb. 29, 2000, at Manor Health Care there.
Mrs. Gregg was a homemaker. She was a private nurse at homes and in hospitals during the 1940s and '50s. She was a member of Southside Christian Church, Kokomo.
She was born Oct. 8, 1900, in Sweden, to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Swanson. She married
Leslie D. Gregg in Chicago on June 26, 1931, and he died June 20, 1991.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, with the Rev. Kyle Dahlquist and the Rev. John McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens cemetery. Friends may call from 5 - 7 p.m. Friday.
Lois E. Usher
Lois E. Usher, 84, 8867 N SR 29, died at 2:40 p.m. March 3, 2000, at Milner's Nursing Home, Rossville.
Mrs. Usher was a homemaker.
She graduated from New London High School in 1934, and lived all her life in Middlefork. She attended Middlefork Community Church.
She was born Aug. 20, 1915, in Tipton County to Albert and Lela May Duncan Butler. She married
Carlton Alter Usher on Sept. 22, 1934, and he died Dec. 16, 1982.
