Edna Mae Miller Hopp
Edna Mae Miller Hopp, 77, Kirklin, died Jan. 28, 2000, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
Mrs. Hopp was a homemaker, and a member of the 60 - Plus Club in Kirklin. She was a member of Kirklin Wesleyan Church, and attended Kirklin Church of God.
She was born Jan. 24, 1923, in Butlerville, to Martin and Grace Larrison Little. She married
Gerald Leon Miller on Oct. 28, 1943, and he died Feb. 6, 1985. She married
James L. Hopp on Nov. 1, 1987, and he died April 28, 1997.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kercheval Funeral Home, Sheridan, with Pastor Elizabeth Swank officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn cemetery, Fishers. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Roscoe W. King
Roscoe W. King, 85, 1452 E. Ohio St., died unexpectedly at 6:45 a.m. Feb. 4, 2000, in Mesa, Ariz.
Mr. King was a lifelong Clinton County resident, and had lived in Kirklin before moving to Frankfort in 1978. He retired from the Indiana State Highway Department that year, then did maintenance work for the Clinton County 4 - H Fairgrounds for seven years.
He was a 1933 graduate of Sugar Creek High School, and a member of Kirklin Christian Church. He was a 54 - year member of the Masonic Lodge, and past master of both Pickard Lodge 690 and the Kirklin lodge. He also was a member of the Frankfort Eagles Lodge.
He was born May 17, 1914, in Clinton County, to Virgil M. and Jesse Walker King. He married
Anna Mae Walker on Sept. 23, 1939, and she survives.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Finley officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill cemetery, Kirklin. Calling hours are 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, with memorial services by the Kirklin lodge at 7.

Ida Mae Taylor
Ida Mae Taylor, 49, 810 Myrtle Ave., died at 8:20 a.m. Jan. 30, 2000, at her parents' home after a lengthy illness.
Miss Taylor worked several years at P.R. Mallory Co., and was an inspector for 16 years at Federal Mogul. She attended Frankfort Pilgrim College and graduated from God's Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1973. She was a member of Ash Street Wesleyan Church, Tipton.
She was born Jan. 6, 1951, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to the Rev. Francis and Bessie Carroll Taylor.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ernest Batman, the Rev. Logan Westrick and the Rev. Mark Mowery officiating. Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday.
Renee Marie West
Renee Marie West, 42, Peru, died at 3:25 a.m. Feb. 6, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. West was a homemaker, and was a guest speaker at different churches and gospel groups. She was a 1975 graduate of Bellflower High School in Bellflower, Calif. She was a member of River of Life Ministries, Kokomo, and Emmaus Community. She also was co - founder of New Beginnings Ministries and Harvesters for Christ.
She was born June 7, 1957, in Long Beach, Calif., to Bud and Shirley Chapman Buxton. She married
Pastor Michael C. West on Aug. 13, 1988, and he survives.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren on county roads 450 West and 400 South, Peru, with her husband and the Rev. Les Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Springdale cemetery near Bunker Hill. Calling hours are 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, is in charge of arrangements.

The Rev. Dr. W. Vern Longenbaugh
The Rev. Dr. W. Vern Longenbaugh, 93, Wesley Manor Retirement Center, died there at 6:45 a.m. Jan. 31, 2000. He had resided at the manor since May 1996.
Dr. Longenbaugh worked 46 years in the ministry, serving churches in Teheren, Red Oak, Macomb, Oblong, Sterling, Lawrenceville and Decatur, all in Illinois, and in Chicago.
He was an Illinois Conference representative of the board of trustees of Indiana Central College, (University of Indianapolis), from 1940 - 62. He was conference youth director for United Brethren (which became Evangelical United Brethren in 1946) from 1944 - 53. He served 12 years as camp director of East Bay Camp in Bloomington, Ill., and served as a delegate of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at its general conferences in 1950, 1954 and 1958.
He earned his doctorate from Indiana Central College, and was honored by the college in 1955 for his work in Christian education, his Illinois Conference responsibilities and his service as a college trustee.
Her served on the EUB Conference board from 1953 - 68, and was a member of the Illinois Conference EUB Church's holding corporation during its merger with the former EUB church. He also was president of the Decatur Church Council for two years.
He was born May 4, 1906, in Shelby County, Ill., to Issac William and Hattie Brinker Longenbaugh. He married
Elsie Maude Everitt on May 4, 1934, and she survives.
Local services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the manor's Amanda Reid Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Allan and the Rev. Don Weaver officiating. Friends may call after 1:30 p.m. at the chapel.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at Mason City United Methodist Church in Mason City, Ill., with the Rev. Daniel G. Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Mason City cemetery. Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the church and one hour before services Friday.
Frye & Genda Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and services.

Morris J. Forlow
Morris J. Forlow, 92, Wesley Manor Retirement Home, died there at 8:45 a.m. Jan. 31, 2000.
Mr. Forlow was the co - owner and operator of Forlow Travel Bureau for 30 years, and retired in 1970. He lived in Sarasota, Fla., for 20 years and returned to Frankfort in 1989.
He attended Frankfort High School, and was a member of First Baptist Church. He also served as a licensed tour agent.
He was born March 24, 1907, in Carroll County, to Jesse M. and Myrtle A. Wayt Forlow. He married
Grace I. Koonsman on June 4, 1933, and she died Feb. 8, 1994.

Norma Jane Johnston
Norma Jane Johnston, 66, 9127 E. CR 600N, Forest, died at 8:01 a.m. Feb. 5, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center, Kokomo.
Mrs. Johnston worked 34 years at Mallory Controls and retired in March 1999. She was a 1951 graduate of Forest Township High School, and a member of Forest Baptist Church.
She was born Aug. 5, 1933, in Howard County, to Albert Allen and Gladys Mae Vanmeter Scott. She married
James A. Johnston on Dec. 2, 1989, and he survives.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, with the Rev. Joel Blanton officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul cemetery near Forest. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. today.

William Seymour Heath
William Seymour Heath, 86, Lebanon, died at 1:50 a.m. Feb. 6, 2000, at Witham Memorial Hospital there.
Mr. Heath was a social studies and health/safety teacher, and was assistant principal of Lebanon Junior High School. He taught four years at Pinnell and 40 years in Lebanon, and coached baseball and basketball for 20 years. He retired in 1980.
He was a 1931 graduate of Advance High School. He earned his bachelor's degree from Wabash College in 1936, and his master's degree from Butler University in 1945. He had lived in Lebanon since 1940, where he was a baseball pitcher in the semi - pro league and for the Lebanon Merchant team. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was born Jan. 28, 1914, in Napoleon, to Dr. Eugene Earl and Mary Olive Seymour Heath. He married
Nellie Marie "Tillie" Rohn in Indianapolis on Aug. 10, 1940, and she died March 31, 1997.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Elks Lodge and American Legion, all in Lebanon. He also was a member of the Boone County and Indiana State retired teachers associations, state and national Retired Officers Association, and Disabled American Veterans. He also was a member of Jamestown Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Myers Mortuary, Lebanon, with the Rev. Fred Tanselle and the Rev. Raymond Duff officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill cemetery, Lebanon. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Edna Rusk
Edna Rusk, 94, Albuquerque, N.M., died Feb. 4, 2000, there.
Mrs. Rusk had lived many years in the Clarks Hill area and in Colorado Springs, Colo., before moving to Albuquerque.
She was a former member of Clarks Hill Christian Church.
She was born Jan. 3, 1906, in Kansas Station, Ill., to James and Emma Harris Walker. She married
Ray L. Rusk in Danville, Ill., in March 1923, and he died in August 1970.
Burial will be in Colorado Springs. Miller - Weston Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Robert 'Bob' Scott
Robert 'Bob' Scott, 83, Camden, died at 11:05 a.m. Feb. 10, 2000, at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Delphi.
Mr. Scott was custodian at Delphi High School for 15 years, retiring in 1986. He was also a retired farmer, having farmer in Clinton, Carroll, and Tipton counties.
He was a member of the Delphi Christian Church, where he was a former Elder and Sunday School teacher. He was also a former member of the Carroll Farm Bureau, and was a member of the board of directors for Tipwa Grange at Pittsburg.
He was born Oct. 12, 1916, in Clinton County, to Oliver Berton Scott and Ethel Reed Scott. He married
Juanita M. Reed Scott on Feb. 3, 1938, in Boone County, and she survives.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Delphi Christian Church with Pastor Andrew Paris officiating. Burial will follow at Scott cemetery, Scircleville. Friends may call at from 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Horn - Davidson Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Delphi Christian Church or the donor's favorite charity.
Vernon L. Martin
Vernon L. Martin, 54, Edna Mills, died at 9:47 p.m. Feb. 10, 2000, in the emergency room of Home Hospital, Lafayette.
Mr. Martin was a truck driver for Kaiser & Kaiser for the past nine years. He worked for Godard's Plumbing & Heating for six years.
He was a member of the Lafayette Moose Lodge #796. He lived in Edna Mills for the past 21 years. He lived in Lafayette early in his life.
He was born June 24, 1945, in Lafayette, to Donald Tolen and Mary Jane Gechenour. Gechenour later married
Albert Martin, who raised Mr. Martin. He married
Carol Ann Price on April 17, 1973, and she survives.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, Pastor Larry Wood officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. cemetery, Brookston. Friends may call 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Moose Lodge #796 will perform a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
Marjorie L. Miller Emans
Marjorie L. Miller Emans, 72, Indianapolis, died at 7:09 p.m. Feb. 11, 2000, at St. Vincent Hospital there following a brief illness.
Mrs. Emans was a receptionist and dispatcher for a travel company. She had lived many years in Columbus, Ohio, before moving to Indianapolis a year ago.
She was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Ohio.
Private family services were conducted. A.R.N. Cremation Services was in charge of arrangements.
