Darlene E. Weber
Darlene E. Weber, 77, Greenfield, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Golden Living Center, Brandywine, Greenfield. She was born October 2, 1931 in Indianapolis, to the late Orbin and Margaret (Riley) Schuyler.
She attended Mt. Comfort High School. Darlene was a nursing assistant at Brandywine Manor for 15 years and had also worked for Union Telephone Company in Greenfield for nine years.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana ( Mike ) Walls of Greenfield, and Teresa Kiner of Greenfield; two brothers, Steve ( Connie )Schuyler of Greenfield and Jack ( Pat )Schuyler of Greenfield; a sister, Mary Ann Arnett of Greenfield; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Weber; a daughter, Marcia Hacker; and a great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at Park Cemetery, Greenfield with Pastor John Reading officiating.
Tony D. Dixon
Tony D. Dixon, 33, Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in Greenfield. Born July 11, 1976, he was the son of David and Sharon (Plummer) Dixon of New Palestine.
He graduated from New Palestine High School in 1995 and completed the apprentice program at Local 440 where he also received his Associates degree through Ivy Tech. Tony worked as a steam fitter for the Local Union 440 and married Carrie Anne Gordon.
Tony was a camp counselor at Mahoning Valley Christian Service Camp where he used to camp as a youth. He played softball for the Local Union 440 team. He was also a member of Park Chapel Christian Church where he was the coach of the Park Chapel softball team.
Surviving are his wife, Carrie Anne Dixon of Greenfield; sons, Ezekiel A. and Boaz A. Dixon of Greenfield; brother, Dean D. (Yvette) Dixon of Greenfield; sister, Brandee C. (Dennis) Beikman of Indianapolis; grandmother, Clara “Pearl” Plummer of Greenfield; and four nieces.
He preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer Plummer, and Melvin D. and Thelma L. Dixon.
Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2009, at Park Chapel Christian Church. Pastor Danny Curry will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery
in Greenfield.

Phyllis G. Hufferd
Phyllis G. Hufferd, 87, Greenfield, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1921 in Hancock County to the late James R. and Bertha F. (Wilhelm) Harrison.
Phyllis was a 1939 graduate of Greenfield High School, worked for the Indiana Board of Pharmacy for seventeen years and retired in 1983 as secretary from Hooks Drug Company, Indianapolis after 25 years of service. She was a member of Greenfield Friends Church, volunteered for the Hancock Regional Hospital Guild for 35 years, was past president and honorary member.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert Hufferd of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Hazle P. Murphy and Ruth R. Holmes.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastors Rick Schoeff and Paul Enyart officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at the funeral home.
