Robert A. Wenger
Robert A. Wenger, 58, Monroeville, died Thursday in Parkview Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Among survivors are his wife, Sharon; three daughters, Mrs. Scott (Sherry) Lay, Mrs. Ty (Elizabeth) Copeland, and Mrs. Brian (Denise) Smith, all of Monroeville; three sons: Kevin, Robert, and Jon Wenger, all of Monroeville; and a sister.
There will be a 9:30 a.m. Monday prayer service in Marquart and Jacobs Funeral Home, Monroeville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose Catholic Church, Monroeville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visiting hours are 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday.

Elizabeth I. Ginzel
Elizabeth I. Ginzel, 91, Pontiac, Michigan, former longtime resident of Ossian, died Wednesday in Pontiac. Among survivors are two sons; a daughter; and a sister, Queenie Barger, Decatur.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Apostolic Christian Church, Bluffton, with burial in the church cemetery. Visiting hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Elzey and Haggard Funeral Home, Ossian.

Brice W. Fisher
Brice W. "Bud" Fisher, 74, rural Monroe, died at 1:15 a.m. today in Adams County Memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 7, 1923 in Decatur to Charles and Mary Hoffman Fisher and married
Doris D. Sprunger on January 25, 1945. She survives.
He was a retired farmer, a retired 21-year member of the building maintenance staff at Adams Central Schools, and a 41-year school bus driver for the Adams Central school system. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mary K. Fisher, Monroe; three sons, Brice D. and Kim C. Fisher, both of Monroe, and Edward A. Fisher, Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Leroy (Ellen) Lehman, Berne, and Mrs. Curt (Grace) Nussbaum, Monroe; and nine grandchildren.
A son, Ken L. Fisher, died in infancy and a brother, Jim Fisher, is also deceased.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Haggard and Armes Funeral Home, Decatur, with burial in Decatur cemetery. Visiting hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to the church or to Adams County Home Health Care.

Ruth E. Gilbert
Ruth E. Gilbert, 65, rural Monroe, died at 3:15 a.m. today in Adams County Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard and Armes Funeral Home, Decatur.

Harold L. Reusser
Harold L. Reusser, 95, Bluffton, Ohio, a native of Berne, died April 27 in Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
Among survivors are a son and two daughters. His wife, Lorena, is deceased.
Funeral services were held Thursday, with burial in Maple Grove cemetery, Bluffton, Ohio.

Arlo V. Lehman
Arlo V. Lehman, 85, Berne, died at 3:38 p.m. Friday in Adams County Memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 23, 1912 in Adams County to Oswin and Emma Schmidt Lehman and married
Mabel R. Sprunger on October 24, 1937. She survives.
He was a retired 37-year employee of the former General Electric Co. plant in Decatur. He was a member of First Mennonite Church of Berne, where he taught Sunday School and was a member of the Chancel Choir. He was also a member of the planning committee that started Maplewood Church in Fort Wayne.
Other survivors are three sons, Dwight Lehman, Natural Laurel, New Jersey; Dr. David W. Lehman, Denver, Colorado; and Rev. John P. Lehman, Orrville, Ohio; a daughter, Rose M. Love, wife of Dr. Robert Love, Zionsville; and six grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Melvin Lehman, and four sisters: Elvira, Erna, and Marcella Lehman and Laurella Fox.
Funeral services are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne. Burial will be in MRE cemetery, Berne.

Paul L. Hilyard
Paul L. Hilyard, 80, Decatur, died at 8:40 a.m. Friday in Adams County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born on September 22, 1916 in Decatur to Earl B. and Rhuey Hakes Hilyard and married
Norma I. Roth on September 5, 1936. She died on February 19, 1995.
He retired in 1979 as a maintenance supervisor after a 40-year career at the Central Soya plant in Decatur. He was a member of Decatur Moose Lodge 1311.
Surviving are three sons, Max E. Hilyard, Angola; Leonard P. Hilyard, Willow Springs, Illinois; and Terry E. Hilyard, Elkhart; twin sister Pauline Hilyard, Decatur; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A son, Jack Hilyard, and a brother, Glen Hilyard, are deceased.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with burial in Decatur cemetery. Visiting hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-noon and 1-2 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to the Northeast Indiana Lung Association.

Howard W. Stephenson
Virginia E. Stephenson
A Monroeville husband and wife - Howard E. "Bill" Stephenson, 79, and Virginia E. Stephenson, 77 - died a short time apart of natural causes in Florida Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. Stephenson died at the couple's winter home in Ellenton, Florida, and, soon thereafter, Mrs. Stephenson was dead on arrival at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
They had been married
almost 45 years, since June 22, 1952. Mrs. Stephenson's first husband, Bernell Hansel, was killed in combat during the Korean War.
Mr. Stephenson is survived by a brother and a sister. Mrs. Stephenson is survived by two sisters, one of them her twin. They are jointly survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
Combined funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Monroeville United Methodist Church, with dual burial in Marlborough cemetery in Delaware County, Ohio. Visiting hours are 5-9 p.m. Saturday in Marquart and Jacobs Funeral Home, Monroeville, and 1-2 p.m. Sunday in the church.

Gerald Lautzenheiser
Gerald Leland Lautzenheiser, 81, Rockford, died Thursday in a Lima, Ohio, hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel; two sons; two brothers, Donald and Robert, both of Berne; two sisters, including Edna Shoaf of Berne; a grandchild, two stepgrandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (Ohio time) Saturday in Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, with calling from 6-9 tonight.

Frona I. Witsche
Frona I. Witsche, 95, Fort Wayne, a native of Geneva, died Thursday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Among survivors are a nephew and several nieces.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Visiting hours are 2-4 p.m. Sunday.

Lloyd H. Wagner
Lloyd H. Wagner, 81, Sun City, Arizona, a native of Adams County, died Friday in Sun City. He lived in Decatur until approximately 1946, then moved to Arizona.
Surviving are his wife, Helen, and some cousins in this area.
Graveside services were held today at Greenwood Memorial Lawn, Phoenix.

Arlo V. Lehman
Funeral services for Arlo V. Lehman, 85, Berne, who died Friday, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Mennonite Church at Berne, with burial in MRE cemetery, Berne.
Visiting hours are until 8 p.m. today in Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday in the church.
Preferred memorials are to the Mennonite Central Committee or to Aurora Peace Church in Aurora, Colorado.

Mary Dellinger
Mary Dellinger, 87, Rockford, Ohio, a former Willshire, Ohio resident, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday (Ohio time) in Shane Hill Nursing Home, her residence for several years.
She was born on January 14, 1910 in Willshire to George and Elizabeth Roop Dellinger. Surviving are several cousins.
She was a former bookkeeper at Willshire Lumber Co. and a member of Willshire United Brethren in Christ Church.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with burial in Willshire cemetery. Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Preferred memorials are to the Van Wert County, Ohio, Visiting Nurse program.
