Bercile A. Grodrian, 88, of Monroeville, who belonged to Hope United Methodist Church, Hoagland, died Friday, June 29, 2001, at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center.
The Fort Wayne native was a homemaker. Surviving are her sons, Donald L. and David A., both of Monroeville; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband, Harold L., preceded her in death. Two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, where calling is from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in IOOF cemetery, New Haven. Memorials are to the church or to the activities department at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation.

Fort Wayne
Cecily Curran Ullman, 81, of Fort Wayne, a member of several literary societies, died Friday, June 29, 2001, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. The New York native retired in 1980 from Control Data Corp. as a government liaison and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, John P.; sons Dr. Jed of Fort Wayne, Dr. Christopher of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Michael of Los Alamitos, Calif.; daughters Gail Pezzimenti of Redding, Conn., Stephanie Passman of Fort Wayne and Susan Biwer of Edina, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1910 Hale Ave. Burial was at Catholic cemetery. Memorials are to Masses or the church.

Darlene P. Vaughn
Fort Wayne — 1932-2001
Darlene P. Vaughn, 68, of Fort Wayne, a member of American Legion Post 296, died Friday, June 29, 2001, at Parkview Hospital.
The Fort Wayne native had also lived in California for 20 years. Surviving are daughters Pam Renner and Theresa Perrey, both of Fort Wayne, and Marquitta Hughes of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Tony Hughes of Fort Wayne; a sister, Barbara Rhoades of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials are to Cancer Services of Allen County or the Allen County Heart Association.

Donald E. Warner
Fort Wayne — 1927-2001
Donald E. Warner, 73, of Fort Wayne, a World War II and Korean War Army veteran, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at home.
The DeKalb County native retired in 1988 after 35 years as stores supervisor for Dana Corp. He was a member of United Methodist Church of the Covenant and had volunteered at Parkview Hospital for several years.
Surviving are his wife, Carol M.; a daughter, the Rev. Cathy S. Johns of Warsaw; sisters Lois Davis of Bradenton, Fla., Sherrianne Searle of Columbia, S.C., and Phyllis Swain of Fort Wayne; brothers Arthur of Billings, Mont., and Larry of Beaver Creek, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, David L.; and a sister.
Memorial services are 5 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church of the Covenant, 10001 Coldwater Road, with calling one hour prior to services. Calling will also be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial will be at Highland Park cemetery.

Ernestine A. Wiley, 73, of Fort Wayne, a nurse's aid, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Parkview Hospital.
The Allen County native had worked at various Fort Wayne health care facilities.
Surviving are her son, Dennis W. of Orange County, Calif.; daughters Laurie Gerber of North Pole, Alaska, Karen McCoy of Fort Wayne and Linda Barnes of Rochester; brothers Richard, Harold, Virgil and John Brockhouse, all of Fort Wayne; a sister, Rosemary Rice of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park cemetery.

David K. Keim, 57, of Fort Wayne, a manager at Subway, Fort Wayne, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at Lutheran Hospital.
The Webster, N.Y., native was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Louise M.; daughters Tracy Strole and Jean Ramsey, both of Fort Wayne; a son, Jeffrey of Orlando, Fla.; stepdaughters Julie Bohnstedt of Churubusco and Susan Thiele of El Paso, Texas; stepsons Erik Rosenberry of Hawaii and Delbert Rosenberry of Jackson, Mich.; a brother, John of Arlington, Va.; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services are 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive. Calling will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road.

Nellie Sexton, 85, of Fort Wayne, a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
The Mercer County, Ky., native had worked at Seyfert's Potato Chip Factory.
Surviving are her sister, Emma of Nicholasville, Ky.; granddaughters Rose Huston, Julie Trump and Robin Feasby, all of Fort Wayne, and Christine Duke of Herber Springs, Ark.; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D. Carter; a sister; and four brothers.
There are no services. Calling will be held from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park cemetery.

The Payne, Ohio, native was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Cedar Creek Women's Club.
Surviving are her son, Maurice N. of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E.; and a daughter, Deveda Ryan.
Services are 1 p.m. today at St. Peter Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald St. Prayer services will also be held at 12:30 p.m. today at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2119 S. Calhoun St., with the rosary at 3:45 p.m. Calling was held Sunday. Burial will be at Catholic cemetery.

Lillie M. Rohlof, 89, of Fort Wayne, a member of North Highlands Church of Christ, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at Parkview Hospital.
The Big Rapids, Mich., native was a clerk for International Harvester for more than 26 years before retiring in 1977.
Surviving are her son, Kent of San Antonio; a daughter, Carol Augsburger of Fort Wayne; a brother, Milford Peters of Fort Wayne; sisters Fern Snyder of Coldwater, Mich., and Adella Paff of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl.

Pauline D. Walda, 79, of Fort Wayne, a member of Faith United Methodist Church, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at Golden Years Homestead.
The Allen County native retired in 1977 from Sears-Roebuck after 25 years as a receiving clerk. She was past president of Church Women United of Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County.
Surviving are her sisters Margueretta Coleman of New Haven and Edith Hively of Albion; and a brother, Robert Potter of New Haven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H.C.
Services are 2:30 p.m. today at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana 930 E., New Haven. Entombment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
