Genevieve M. Lindley, 78, of Fort Wayne, a longtime resident, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
The Geneva native was a homemaker.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. Monday at Lindenwood cemetery, 2324 W. Main St. There is no calling.

Fort Wayne
Garland L. Phillips Flickinger, 94, of Fort Wayne, a charter member of Three Rivers Gem and Mineral Society, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Miller's Merry Manor.
The Fort Wayne native was a homemaker, a member of West Creighton Christian Church and a charter member of Fort Wayne Hobby and Collectors Guild.
Surviving are daughters Mary Feaser of Frankfort, Ill., Joyce Stabler and Connie Platt, both of Fort Wayne, and Sharon Moffett of Sellersburg; sons Theodore Phillips of Griffin, Ga., and Darrell Phillips of Palmer, Alaska; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Lawrence E., preceded her in death.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Prairie Grove cemetery.

Fort Wayne
Randy S. Hagar, 43, of Fort Wayne, a dispatcher, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Parkview Hospital.
The Fort Wayne native worked for Steve Mox Trucking Co. in Rockford, Ohio, for about 10 years, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his father, Thomas of Fort Wayne; sisters Nanette Reed of Fort Wayne and Carolyn Brewer of Aiken, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
His mother, Patricia, preceded him in death.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, with calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Rev. Christopher J. Hinckley
Fort Wayne
Rev. Christopher J. Hinckley, 87, of Fort Wayne, who was ordained into the priesthood on June 3, 1939, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital.
The Reading, Ohio, native had served parishes in Bluffton, Plymouth, Syracuse and Geneva, was pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church both in Fort Wayne and South Bend, retired from the Air Force as chaplain after 28 years of service and had achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Surviving are nephews Joseph P. of Boca Raton, Fla., and George C. of Dothan, Ala.; a niece, Mary F. Mathew of St. Louis, Mo.; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George T., and sisters Florence H. Hinckley and Elizabeth A. Middleton.
Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 Fairfield Ave., with calling from 11:40 a.m. until services. Calling is also from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. vigil service also at the church. Burial will be at Catholic cemetery.
Memorials are to Masses or the donor's choice.

Fort Wayne — 1909-2000
Harold P. Parker, 91, of Fort Wayne, retired owner/operator of Shell Oil Station in New Haven, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at Beverly Rehabilitation Center.
The Colon, Mich., native retired in 1973 after 10 years of service, had worked at Hardware Wholesalers Inc. as a lead man of maintenance for eight years, was formerly of New Haven, a member of New Haven United Methodist Church, Odd Fellows Harmony Lodge 19, Masonic Lodge 740, 32nd degree Scottish Rite and a former member of the I.O.O.F. cemetery Board.
Surviving are sons Harold P. Jr. of Fremont, Howard N. of Fort Wayne, Glen E. of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and Terry S. of Hallandale, Fla.; a daughter, Thelma L. Bremer of New Haven; sisters Lucille Schumacher of Athens, Mich., and Eda Herrick of Albion, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Opal B., preceded him in death.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana 930 E., New Haven, with calling one hour before services and also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. cemetery, New Haven.

Infant Christian D. Davis-Boone of Fort Wayne died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Parkview Hospital.
Surviving are his mother, Tristan D. Davis of Fort Wayne; his father, Rashawn L. Boone of Fort Wayne; a sister, Jy-ahyrah R. Boone of Fort Wayne; grandparents Bryanita Davis, Cressie Fowlkes, Walter Underwood and Ella M. Boone, all of Fort Wayne, and Gordon J. Booker of Uniontown, Ala.; and several great- and great-great-grandparents.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road. There is no calling.

Berneice E. Gephart Newer, 84, of Fort Wayne, a member of the GE Quarter Century Club, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at University Park Nursing Center.
The Fort Wayne native had worked for General Electric Co. as an inspector for 25 years and was a member of the Elex Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlotte J. Bacon of Leo-Cedarville; sisters Helen B. Witmer of Fort Wayne, Betty Sgarlata of Orland Park, Ill., and Dorothy Ross of St. Joe; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E., and brothers Ted, Bob and Edward Johnson.

Ansel W. Black, 85, of Fort Wayne, an avid golfer and fisherman, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
"He loved people." He was a native of Allen County. Surviving are his wife, Miriam E.; a son, Michael E. of Fort Wayne; and a daughter, Jane A. Clayton of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Clell G. Boerger, 84, of Fort Wayne, a World War II Army veteran, died Friday, June 15, 2001.
The Fort Wayne native was owner of Boerger Insurance Agency for 54 years. He was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, Highland Lodge 762 F&AM;, Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine. Surviving are daughters Cheryl L. Dexter and Roanne R. Drerup, both of Fort Wayne; sisters Kathlyn G. McKee and W. Elaine Ping, both of Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren. His wife, Margaret, preceded him in death. Masonic services at 12:30 p.m. precede memorial services at 1 p.m. Thursday at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne St., with calling after services. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to the church.

Jack E. Cain Sr., 73, of New Haven, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at home.
The Princeton native retired in 1987 from Norfolk & Southern as an engineer after 26 years of service. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 3164 and American Legion Post 330. Surviving are his wife, Loretta R.; a son, Jack E. Jr. of New Haven; daughters Patricia Stier and Diana Sowles, both of New Haven; a sister, Betty Dulany of Mount Vernon, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby L. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana 930 East, New Haven, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. Eagles service and a 7:30 p.m. American Legion service. Burial with military graveside services will at IOOF cemetery, New Haven.
