Maxine Rose Gladieux Sordelet, 68, of Fort Wayne, co-owner of Master Cleaners for 25 years, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at home.
The New Haven native was also a homemaker, and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and The Club Girls.
Surviving are her husband, Russell; sons David, Terrence, Jeffry and Daniel, all of Fort Wayne, and Robert of New Haven; daughters Rebecca Henry Buchanan and Jeanne Kensill, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, James Gladieux of Fort Wayne; a sister, Mary Jane Fletcher of Fort Wayne; and 23 grandchildren.
Prayer services at 10 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, precede Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road. Calling is one hour before prayer services and also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday with an 8:30 p.m. vigil service, all at the funeral home. Burial will be at Catholic cemetery.

Fort Wayne — 1917-2001
Charles M. Shropshire, 83, of Fort Wayne, a native of Fulton County, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at home.
He retired in 1983 from Zollner Piston after 43 years in electrical maintenance and was formerly of Peru.
Surviving are his wife, Margie; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers Chet, Joe, Vic and Doine, and a sister, Mildred Lash.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, with calling from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Prairie Grove cemetery.

Loyal R. Yoder
Huntertown — 1914-2001
Loyal R. Yoder, 86, of Huntertown, who served from 1975 to 1982 as Perry Township trustee, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at Parkview Hospital.
The Allen County native retired in 1976 from Fruehauf Trailer as an over-the-road driver after 25 years of service and was also an area farmer. He was a member of Huntertown United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 689 F&AM;, Scottish Rite Valley Fort Wayne, the Order of the Eastern Star 278 in Leo-Cedarville and active in Perry Township Farm Bureau. He had served as an EMT for Huntertown Volunteer Fire Department and while trustee helped build the new fire station.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby; a daughter, Shirley Meighen of Fort Wayne; a son, Larry of Goshen; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by brothers Paul and Ralph.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Huntertown United Methodist Church, Huntertown, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Sheets Funeral Home, Churubusco.

Glen "Andy" Anderson, 87, of Fort Wayne, a retired foreman, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Lutheran Hospital.
The Muncie native retired in 1973 from Dana Spicer after 28 years of service, was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church and was formerly of Warren and Muncie.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene; daughters Barbara Hathaway Pond of New Haven and Peggy Starr of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; a sister, Gladys Wilt of Muncie; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Highway E., New Haven, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana 930 E., New Haven. Burial will be at Union cemetery, Eton. Memorials are to the church or to the donor's choice.

Juanita M. Baker, 75, of Fort Wayne, a retired Navistar employee, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Lutheran Hospital.
She was a member of Turner Chapel AME Church and a supervisor of its House of Sharing.
Surviving are her husband, George; a daughter, Pamela Gage of Fort Wayne; and a granddaughter, Jantina Thomas of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Saunders.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Turner Chapel AME Church, 836 E. Jefferson Blvd., with calling from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be at Lindenwood cemetery.

Ann Marie Barker, 60, of Fort Wayne, who attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Lutheran Hospital.
The Fort Wayne native retired in 1992 from the Duemling Clinic after 17 years of service and was a lifelong local resident.
Surviving are a daughter, Laurie Barker of Fort Wayne; sons Gary and Larry, both of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Julie Wing of Chewelah, Wash.
Her husband, Bruce W., preceded her in death.
Prayer services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, precede services at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 2120 S. Harrison St. Calling is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday and also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Louis Besancon cemetery.

Fred Brand, 95, of Fort Wayne, a retired boilermaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Byron Healthcare Center.
The Geneva native retired in 1965 from the Pennsylvania Railroad after 25 years of service and had also worked at the Power Plant for six years. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Zola; a son, Fred Jr. of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Jack Johnson of Lake Forrest, Calif.; a daughter, Donna Kessler of Tacoma, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, Donald.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, with calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Prairie Grove cemetery.

Doris L. Fox, 88, of Fort Wayne, a registered nurse, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Parkview Hospital.
"She lived for her family and to help others, and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
The Reynolds native retired in 1977, had worked as an office nurse for Dr. C.W. Dahling in New Haven and as a school nurse for New Haven Elementary and Concordia Senior College. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New Haven.
Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Wunrow of Fort Wayne; sons Robert L. of Angola and William of Arlington, Texas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Donald L., preceded her in death.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 6 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana 930 E., New Haven. Burial will be at Emanuel Lutheran cemetery, New Haven.

Mary Maria Wasko, 89, of Fort Wayne, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at Saint Anne Home. The Naples, Italy, native was a member of the Catholic Church and had lived in Fort Wayne for 54 years.
Surviving are a son, Michael G. of Butler; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George S., and 11 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Saint Anne Home, 1900 Randallia Drive, with calling from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a 10 a.m. rosary service, all at Saint Anne Home. Burial will be at Catholic cemetery.
