Richard Traylor
MONTGOMERY — Richard Lee Traylor, 59, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at his home of cancer.
He was a 1960 graduate of Otwell High School and a member of Otwell Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are his parents, Jerl and Naomi Traylor of Otwell; two brothers, Daniel and Wayne, both of Otwell; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Traylor of Washington. His son, Kip L., preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Saturday at Gill Funeral Home, with burial in Otwell cemetery.

William Stoll
MONTGOMERY — William Jackson Stoll, 68, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Bloomington Hospital in Paoli of an apparent heart attack.
He was a self-employed cabinet maker and a farmer. He was a member of Harvest Community Fellowship Church.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; two daughters, Veronica Sauder and Heidi Zielke, both of Hesston, Kan.; two sons, D. J. of Montgomery and Lynn of Washington; three sisters, Mary Lou Yoder and Barbara Jean Lengacher, both of Montgomery, and Martha Belle Burkholder of Waynsboro, Va.; two brothers, Jack of South Bend and Frank of Traverse City, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Saturday at Providence Mennonite Church, with burial in Providence cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to service time at the church. Gill Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Nicholas Hagedorn
TELL CITY — Nicholas H. Hagedorn, 87, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
He worked at Maxon Marine as a welder and was the owner and operator of Nick’s Package Store.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are three stepdaughters, Janet Lemaire of Tell City, Mary Becher of Ferdinand and Sister Kristine Harpenau of Ferdinand; two sons, Timothy N. of Dayton and Mark Anthony of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; three stepsons, Charles of Springville, Tenn., Robert of Troy and David of Columbus; two sisters, Mary Lautner of St. Marks and Margaret Deom of Santa Claus; a brother, Hubert of St. Marks; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. His wife of 42 years, Helen (Fournier), died in 1995.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Saturday, with burial in St. Mary’s cemetery.
Friends may call form 3 to 8 pm.. today, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Infant Abigale Bowman
ROCKPORT — Abigale Bowman, 6-month-old daughter of Donald and Andrea Bowman Jr., died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Also surviving are a sister, Madison Bowman at home; a brother, Andrew Tindle at home; grandparents, the Rev. Andrew and Margaret Tindle and Mike and Verna Mae Myers and Donald and Linda Bowman Sr.; and great-grandparents.
Arrangements are pending at Boultinghouse Funeral Home.
Infant Skyler Satterfield
OAKLAND CITY — Skyler Alan Satterfield, son of Christopher Alan and Amy Renae (Krohn) Satterfield, was stillborn Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
Also surviving are grandparents, Myreon and Nancy Krohn and Joyce Satterfield; and great-grandparents.
Private graveside services are being handled by the Curtis Funeral Home.
Dorothy Wheeless
Dorothy L. Wheeless, 80, of Evansville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at her home of heart disease.
She retired in 1992 after 42 years with Smith Barney.
She was a 1939 graduate of Memorial High School.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Rita Auxiliary, Legion of Mary and St. Hildegard Society of Ferdinand.
Surviving are a sister, Sister Charlene Ann Wheeless of Ferdinand; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Frank, died in 1941.
Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, continuing at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. Eugene Dewig officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a 6:30 p.m. celebration of life service.

Judy Martin
Judy Martin, 56, of Evansville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at her home of cancer.
She was Southern Baptist.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Doug; a daughter, Teresa Gunn of Evansville; a son, Robert of Evansville; her parents, Robert and Jean Benjamin of Evansville; a sister, Nancy Jean Osborne of Evansville; four grandchildren, Drake Aaron and Tiffany Renee Duncan, Melanie Ann Gunn and Alexis Marie Martin; and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Robert A. Nall officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association Hospice.
Walter Veach
Walter P. Veach Sr., 79, of Evansville, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Parkview Care Center of a heart condition.
He retired in 1986 after 30 years with Mead Johnson.
He was a World War II veteran serving on an LST.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 64, Hadi Shrine Temple, Scottish Rite, American Legion and he attended Memorial Baptist Church.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, woodcarver, hunter and bowler.
Surviving are a son, Walter P. Jr. of Evansville; two stepsons, Larry and Jim Hahn, both of Newburgh; two stepgranddaughters, Betty Herald and Angela Walker; two grandsons, David and James Veach; and three great-grandchildren. His wife, Marie, died in 1990.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. Robert E. Cox Sr. officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park, with military rites.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to favorite charity.
Margaret Sensmeier
Margaret Sensmeier, 101, formerly of Evansville, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, in Denver.
Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Crouch of Littleton, Colo., and Joyce Sensmeier of Denver; two grandsons, Jay and David Crouch; and a great-grandson.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran cemetery in Darmstadt, Ind., the Rev. Martin Keller officiating.
There will be no visitation at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church building fund.
Marian Robinson
Marian Margaret (Behrendt) Robinson, 71, of Evansville, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at her home of complications of high blood pressure.
She was a member of St. Benedict Cathedral.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Howard Sr.; a daughter, Judith Cigale Austin of Evansville; two sons, Howard Henry Jr. of Jamaica Plains, Mass., and Mark Kelly of West Chester, Ohio; three grandchildren, Henry Patrick and Kelly Margaret Robinson, and Nicholas Frederick Austin; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, continuing at 9 a.m. at St. Benedict Cathedral, the Rev. Harold Hammerstein officiating, with entombment in Oak Hill cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pearl Durkee
Pearl E. Durkee, 83, formerly of Evansville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Windemere Nursing Home in Virginia Beach, Va.
She had worked at the University of Evansville in the political science department and during World War II worked for Republic Aviation.
She was a member of Evansville Medical Auxiliary, Evansville Garden Club and Evansville Bridge Club, the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution and Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Michael of Iowa City, Iowa, Donald of Virginia Beach, Charles of Pewaukee, Wis., and John of Atlanta; a brother, Paul Karr of Rinard, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Stephen Johnson officiating, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
