Gabriel Feltner Jr.
Gabriel Feltner Jr., 73, formerly of Evansville, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, in Sacramento, Calif., of lung cancer.
He retired in 1986 after more than 30 years with Whirlpool Corp.
He was a World War II veteran, serving aboard the USS Euryale in the Pacific and was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was a graduate of Bosse High School and the University of Evansville.
He was a former member and deacon of Olivet Presbyterian Church.
He was an Eagle Scout, had been a member of the Eagles and Elks and had been a Republican precinct committeeman.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lou Peters, of Sacramento, and Gina Sue Cannon of Scotts Bluff, Neb.; a brother, David L. of Akron, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Richard R. Schechter officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Bette Zeller
VINCENNES — Bette Marie Zeller, 73, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital of cancer.
She retired as a sales clerk from Gimbles & Bond Departments Store and had worked for Nite & Day.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Richard D. Jr.; a daughter, Kimberly Clodfelter of Evansville; a son, Richard “Rick” III of Vincennes; a sister, Georgia Mae Crosslin of Wanatoh; two brothers, William “Bill” Boger and Harold Hensley, both of Vincennes; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home.

Clara Katter
STENDAL — Clara E. Katter, 93, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at the Jasper Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center.
She helped operate Katter’s General Store with her husband, Roy H., who died in 1989. She taught school for two years.
She was a graduate of Oakland City College.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Luker of Huntingburg; a son, Eldon of Kuntztown, Pa.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Friday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg and from 1 p.m. to service time at the church.

Louie Thompson
PRINCETON — Louie L. Thompson, 100, of Rockford, Ill., died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
He retired in 1963 from the small tool division of Barber-Colman. He had worked for Nash Motor in Milwaukee as a machinist and had farmed in Illinois from 1936 to 1940.
He was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church in Rockford, Masonic Lodge and the YMCA Retired Men’s Club.
Surviving are a daughter, June A. Gennrich of Austin, Minn.; a sister; a brother; five grandchildren, Bruce Gennrich, Alan and Douglas Munts, Janice Everingham and Judy Byles; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, in 1997 and a daughter, Garnet Munts.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Olive cemetery in Mount Olympus.

Rosemary Coyle
CANNELTON — Rosemary (Farmer) Coyle, 52, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The cause of death is pending autopsy results.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. She served as a monitor and a fund-raiser coordinator for the Cornerstone Christian School.
She was a 1966 graduate of Cannelton High School.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Frank; two daughters, Jodie Lottes of Lamar and Jennifer Mattingly of Cannelton; two sons, Jermie of Tell City and Jeff of Cannelton; a brother, Jermie Farmer of Tell City; and 15 grandchildren, Calyssa Matheny, Hunter Lottes, Leandra nd Laneyah Whalen, McKenzee and McKaylee Mattingly and Autumn, J.P., Ike, Joey, Summer, Tyler, Kelsey, Caitie and Lauren Coyle.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Friday at Freewill Baptist Church, with burial in New Cliff cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Huber Funeral Home Cannelton Chapel and from 9 a.m. to service time at the church.

Robert Bryant
TELL CITY — Robert Allen Bryant, 41, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis of respiratory failure.
He was a free-lance and independent photographer for several area newspapers. He was a musician, song writer and entertainer.
He was a graduate of Indiana University.
He was a volunteer at the Blue Grass Festivals in Owensboro, Ky., and Louisville, Ky.
Surviving are his mother, Rovilla “Billie” Bryant of Tell City; a sister, Pat Huff of Jeffersonville; three brothers, Paul of Woodstock, Ga., John of Knoxville, Tenn., and Charlie of Placentia, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, with burial in St. Mary’s cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m., and from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

Lila Tretter
PETERSBURG — Lila June (Minor) Tretter, 69, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at her home of complications of emphysema.
She had been a receptionist in the office of Dr. Joseph Elbert.
She was a member of the Petersburg Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Collette L. Camp and Cynthia L. Tedrow, both of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Dawn A. Minor of Chicago; two brothers, James E. Minor of Hartford, Ky., and Richard Minor of Sullivan; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Hubert W. Tedrow and James Tretter.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. EST Friday in Oak Hill cemetery in Winslow.
