Emily McCormick
Emily Ann McCormick, 10, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, of injuries sustained in a hayride accident.
She was a fourth-grade student at the Westside Catholic Consolidated Schools. She enjoyed sports and played soccer, softball and basketball. She loved animals.
Surviving are her mother, Michelle McCormick of Evansville; her father and stepmother, Rick and Marlene McCormick of Evansville; two sisters, April and Ashley McCormick of Evansville; a stepsister, Lisa Brackett of Evansville; two stepbrothers, Jason and Chad Merkley of Evansville; and grandparents, Jean and John Moore and Bill and Barbara McCormick.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, continuing at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, the Rev. David Nunning officiating, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
Andrew Doyle
MONTGOMERY — Andrew J. Doyle, 94, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Eastgate Manor Nursing Home in Washington.
He was a farmer and had worked for Loughmiller Feed Mill, Barr-Reeve School, and the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center.
He was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church, and received the Father of the Year Award.
He was a member of the Senior Citizens Center and St. Peter’s Holy Name Society.
Surviving are four daughters, Sue Showalter, Dosia Mangin and Jeanie Strange, all of Montgomery, and Rosie Dages of Plainfield; a son, Donald of Plainfield; 23 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther (Norris), in 1984 and two sons, Charles and Richard.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Anna Keller
JASPER — Anna Marie Keller, 85, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at the Providence Home.
She had been a nurse’s aide at the former Stork Hospital in Huntingburg and a telephone operator.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, St. Ann’s Society and Women of the Moose.
Surviving are four daughters, Jenny Butler of Celestine, Rita Cooper of Jasper, Rose Ann Peters of Ferdinand and Vera Lou Price of Indianapolis; four sons, Robert, John and Richard, all of Jasper and Charles Anthony Sr. of Otwell; a brother, Lawrence Recker of Jasper; 25 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, in 1964 and a son, Donald.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. EST Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in in Fairview cemetery.
Friends may call at Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a rosary at 3 p.m. and a memorial service at 7 p.m.

Nellie Morris
Nellie Morris, 90, of Evansville, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at East Pointe Health & Rehabilitation.
She was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Lois Marrotte of Melbourne, Fla.; two sons, Barnes W. Baugh of Newburgh and James L. Morris of Evansville; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert, in 1991, and a son, John Robert Jr., in 1953.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Robert A. Nall officiating, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.

Alice Pryor
Alice Louise Pryor, 67, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital of complications of a stroke.
She retired after 25 years with Berry Plastics and had worked for 10 years at Mac’s Bar-B-Q.
She enjoyed crocheting and making crafts.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Thomas A.; three daughters, Linda Graham, Connie Potter and Sherry Weil, all of Evansville; two sons, Thomas L. and Mark A., both of Evansville; two sisters, Elizabeth Vailes and Maybell Hines, both of Evansville; 15 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Browning Funeral Home, the Rev. Dennis Graham Sr. officiating, with entombment in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mable Weightman
Mable Weightman, 93, of Drakesboro, Ky., mother of John and Melvin Weightman of Evansville, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at the Maple Manor Nursing Center in Greenville, Ky.
She was Pentecostal.
Also surviving are a son, Marvin of Drakesboro; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, in 1982, and a son, Cecil.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, Ky., with burial in Rose Hill cemetery.

Dr. Vernon Scandrett
Dr. Vernon C. Scandrett, 73, of Newburgh, formerly of Greenville, Ill., died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Angel River Health & Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh of cancer.
He practiced medicine from 1951 to 1982 in Kentucky, South Dakota and Iowa, and spent more than five years practicing and teaching in Colombia, South America.
From 1951 to 1953, he served as a captain in the Army.
He was a 1949 graduate of the University of Illinois School of Medicine, received a divinity degree from the Asbury Theological Seminary and was a resident in psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospital.
He was a member of the Free Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Judy Cox of Oklahoma City, Okla., Beth Scandrett-Leatherman of Lawrence, Kan., and Susie Boileau of Wilmore, Ky.; three sons, the Rev. Mark of Godfrey, Ill., Joel of Boston and Dr. John of Newburgh; his father, John Melton Scandrett of Rapid City, S.D.; three brothers, Orin of Minneapolis and Don and Lyle, both of Rapid City; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial services are pending. There will be no visitation at Bradley Colonial Chapel in Boonville, Ind.

Louella Haag
Louella M. (Wiseman) Haag, 78, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital of cancer.
She had worked at Indiana Bell Telephone Co., Sears Roebuck and Co. and Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio.
She was a volunteer usher for The Centre and The Victory.
She played Bunco and had won trophies in Columbus and Evansville for bowling.
Surviving are a son, Bradley S. of Columbus; a sister, Wanita Downs of Evansville; a brother, Jack D. Wiseman of Evansville; a granddaughter, Erica M. Haag; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1993, and a son, Robert Glenn, in 1999.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel, the Rev. Ernest Stair officiating, with burial in Park Lawn cemetery.

Thomas Luttrull
Thomas C. Luttrull, 31, of Evansville, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of an apparent heart attack.
He was a 1988 graduate of Harrison High School and attended Townsend Community Church.
He was a gun collector, fisherman and pool player.
Surviving are his parents, Robert and Ann Luttrull of Evansville; a sister, Bobbi Taylor of Evansville; and his grandmother, Bobbi Williams.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, with Rev. Mike Ward officiating, with burial in Park Lawn cemetery.

Dorothy Crowe
Dorothy F. Crowe, 82, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital.
She retired as the personnel manager after 30 years at Kmart.
She was a 1935 graduate of Bosse High School and active on the class reunion committee.
She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church and was the director of the church nursery program for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the Keddo Club, Kmart Birthday Club, and former member of the Business and Professional Women.
Surviving are three daughters, Jill Northerner of Evansville, Judi Nelson of Dillingham, Alaska, and Janet Clark of Denham Springs, La.; two sons, Joseph A. Ferguson and Richard Crowe, both of Evansville; a sister, Margaret Eissler of Roanoke, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Kenny Jr. and John Clark, Leah Clark Morris, Carl Nelson Jr., Mark Northerner, Christine Clark Blumm, Rebecca Nelson Martinez, Melinda Northerner Schirtzinger and Michelle Northerner Moorman; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Glenn Ferguson, in 1962, and Hollie Crowe, in 1989.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Joseph A. Ferguson officiating, with burial in Park Lawn cemetery.
