Ehrman Thomas
Ehrman Thomas, 65, of Gunter, Texas, formerly of Evansville, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Texoma Medical Center. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
He retired from the pipefitters union in Amarillo, Texas.
He was an Air Force veteran.
He attended high school in Evansville.
Surviving are a daughter, Kim Jones of Perryton, Texas; a son, Mike of Gunter; a sister, Evelyn; a brother, J.C. of Evansville; three grandchildren, Marlee Jones and Preston and Coby Thomas; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. in Sherman, Texas, in the Westhill cemetery.
Hoa Kim Bui
Hoa Kim Bui, 73, formerly of Evansville, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at South Pointe Hospital in St. Louis of heart failure.
She had worked for the French government in the secret service. She was Buddhist.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Heip Van Trinh; six sons, Hung Van, Sang Van, and Giau Van Trinh, all of Evansville, Hai Van, Ngoc Van and Tot Van Trinh, all of St. Louis; a sister in Vietnam; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her daughter, Thuy Kim Trinh, died in 1999.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, Nguyen Tri officiating, with burial in Locust Hill cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Glen DeHaven
Glen H. DeHaven, 81, of Evansville, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
He was superintendent of Mail Processing Tour 3 in Evansville and past president of the local chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
He was a World War II Army veteran, member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Post 8. He was a Mason.
He was a member of Hamilton’s Men’s Golf Club and enjoyed golfing.
Surviving are a sister, Alice Griffin of Selvin, Ind.; nieces and a nephew; and a caregiver, Paul Phelps of Evansville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Regina Nursing Center Chapel, Sister Mary Rogers officiating, with burial in Park Lawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time at the Regina Nursing Center Chapel. Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel is handling arrangements.
Michael Nelson
Michael D. Nelson, 43, of Evansville, died Monday, May 8, 2000, in Evansville. The Vanderburgh County coroner is investigating.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Jack and Carol Nelson of Evansville; a stepbrother, Ronald Nelson of Evansville; and his grandmother, Laura File.
There will be no service or visitation at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel.
Norma Trafford
MOUNT VERNON — Norma Jean (Chamberlin) Trafford, 67, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at the Indiana University Medical Cen-
ter in Indianapolis from complications of vascular disease.
She was in retail sales.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Ann Baize of Poseyville; two sons, Rebern Stanton “Stan” Pickerill of Mount Vernon and David Lee Pickerill of Heidelberg, Germany; a sister, Jeanine Fuquay of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Boone Funeral Home Mount Vernon Chapel, with burial in Bellefontaine cemetery.

Floyd McClellan
PETERSBURG — Floyd O. McClellan, 83, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Petersburg Health Care Center.
He had served on the USS Chicago, was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran and retired as a chief petty officer after 20 years of service.
Surviving are his son, Floyd O. Jr.; two sisters, Pansy Garretson of Otwell and Velma Dodd of Evansville; and a brother, Kenneth of Washington, Ind.
A son, Elmer “Chub, ” died in 1973.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Hills cemetery.

Mary Feltner
GENTRYVILLE — Mary Magdalene Lamar Feltner, 84, died Monday, April 24, 2000, in Sun City, Ariz.
Surviving is a niece.
She was a graduate of Gentryville High School.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Gentryville Garden of Memory cemetery. The Lundburg Golden Door Chapel in Youngtown, Ariz, handled arrangements.
Horace Winkler
FRANCISCO — Horace “John” Winkler, 71, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at his home from a self-inflicted gun shot wound.
He retired in 1990 after 30 years with Whirlpool Corp. in Evansville.
He was a Mason.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mildred (Beasley); a son, Kent of Francisco; and a granddaughter, Kaylin.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, with burial in Forsythe cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Virginia Cooper
LEOPOLD — Virginia Cooper, 70, of Evansville, formerly of Leopold, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at her home of heart failure.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy S. Ramsey and Margaret A. Potts, both of Richmond, Ky.; a sister, Edna “Polly” Borho of Sellersburg; three grandchildren, Chris and Nick Ramsey and Garet Potts; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold, burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.

Eugene Aikin
MAGNET — Eugene Aikin, 71, of Berea, Ky., formerly of Magnet, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at the Berea Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
He was an electrician with Local 369 in Louisville, Ky.
He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Jean Gassman and Eugenia Lynn Boone, both of Louisville; four grandchildren, Adam and Amy Gassman, Elsa Underhill and Billy Boone.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Stephenson cemetery in Dexter. Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel is handling arrangements.

Linda Smith
HATFIELD — Linda Smith, 54, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville of cancer.
She worked for Alcoa Warrick for 29 years before retiring. She then worked for the University of Evansville.
She was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Richland City and the Eureka Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Terry; a daughter, Shannon Ring of Bowling Green, Ky.; a son, Jeff Smith of Evansville; her parents, Odie and Cancilene Young of Richland City; two sisters, Lois Roberts of Franklin and Peggy Young of Rockport; two brothers, Tom Young of Indianapolis and Phillip Young of Richland City; a grandson, Austin Ring and a step granddaughter, Victoria Ring.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Richland City, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m., and from 8 to 11:30 a.m Friday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, and from noon to service time at the church.

Viola Langebrake
CANNELTON — Viola F. Langebrake, 63, of Rome, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City of an apparent heart attack.
She had worked for General Electric in Tell City and the former Hydro-Tex in Cannelton. She was a seamstress for Doll Dreams in Ireland, Ind., making doll clothes.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Society.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Harold C.; three daughters, Donna Angel and Lisa Langebrake, both of Rome, and Teresa Glockengieser of St. Louis; two sons, Steve Schmidt of Tell City and David Langebrake of Holland, Ind.; three sisters, Pat Neyenhaus of Tell City, Kathy Friedman of Hayesville and Almeda Hoffman of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Carl Schwindel of New Boston and Johnny Schwindel of Jasper; five grandchildren, Brenda Angel, Shawnna Ritchie, Madalyn Rose Langebrake, Lisa Hexamer and Shannon Amos; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, with burial in New Cliff cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Huber Funeral Home Cannelton Chapel, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
