Mildred Vandever
Mildred L. Vandever, 79, of Evansville, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Holiday Health Care of respiratory failure.
She worked at Bucyrus Erie for 30 years and was a member of the 25-Year Club.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are three sons, Keith and Donald, both of Evansville, and Virgil G. of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren, Raymond B. Vandever and Andrea L. Kelle.
Her husband of 48 years, Virgil V., died in 1983.
Service arrangements are pending at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel; burial will be in Tupman cemetery.

Infant Kendra Danzer
JASPER — Kendra A. Danzer, two weeks old, daughter of Andrew and Angela (Klem) Danzer of Jasper, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Ky., of complications of a heart condition.
Also surviving are grandparents, Leo and Mary Eileen Danzer and Kenny and Linda Klem; and great-grandparents.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
There will be no visitation at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home.
Laura Salameh
OAKLAND CITY — Laura E. (McCullough) Salameh, 90, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
She had been a legal secretary in Chicago.
Surviving are a nephew; and a cousin who cared for her, Doris Ferguson.
Graveside services will be at 2:15 p.m. today at Montgomery cemetery.

Infant Logan Satterfield
OAKLAND CITY — Logan Michael Satterfield, son of Chris and Amy Satterfield of Oakland City, was stillborn Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
Also surviving are grandparents, Myreon and Nancy Krohn and Joyce Satterfield; and great-grandparents.
There will be no public visitation or service; burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery in Evansville.
Plato Hedrick
LOOGOOTEE — Plato Junior Hedrick, 67, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington of injuries from a mowing accident.
He retired in 1997 from Midwest Engineers Inc. in Loogootee and had formerly worked for McCord Corp. in Washington and the Indiana State Carpenters Union.
He was a Korean War Navy veteran, serving from 1950 to 1953, and was a member of the American Legion.
He was a 1950 graduate of Allfordsville High School.
He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly Kay (Thompson); two daughters, Deborah Leighty of Odon and Shari Hulsman of Loogootee; a sister, Margaret Preston of Loogootee; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, with burial in Goodwill cemetery, with military rites.

Clara Hebbler
BUCKSKIN — Clara A. Hebbler, 92, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Ill.
She taught for more than 44 years in Gibson, Warrick and Pike County high schools.
She was a 1931 graduate of Oakland City College and received her master’s degree from Evansville College.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Buckskin.
Surviving is a niece.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John’s United Church of Christ, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City and from 9 a.m. to service time at the church.
John Resler
PRINCETON — John R. Resler, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at Gibson General Hospital.
He was a laborer and retired from Local 561 in Evansville after 45 years.
He was a member of Eagles 361 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1147 Father’s Auxiliary.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Ruby (Witherspoon); a daughter, Judy Phillips of Patoka; two sons, Darrell E. of Princeton and John A. of Patoka; two sisters, Leora “Lee” Smith of St. George, S.C., and Thelma Gocker of West Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Heather, Clinton and Jason Resler, Ryan, Tony and Steven Phillips and Gennifer Pray; and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery.

William Cullivan
PRINCETON — William E. “Bill” Cullivan, 72, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at his home. The Gibson Country coroner is determining cause of death.
He was an oil field worker.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was a member of the Eagles 361.
Surviving are a sister, Nina Allen of Cynthiana, and a brother, Bob of Mount Vernon.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in Odd Fellows cemetery, with military rites.

Larry Adams
Larry W. Adams, 59, of Evansville, died Sunday at Deaconess Hospital of heart failure.
He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and McDonald Hope Land.
He attended Nativity Catholic Church and Washington Avenue Baptist Church Sunday school.
Surviving are his mother, Marian Dalby; a sister, Cheryl Schmitt; and three brothers, Ronald, Michael and Steven, all of Evansville.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church, the Rev. Henry Kuykendall officiating, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where memorial services will be at 7 p.m.

Betty Gilliam
Betty M. Gilliam, 80, of Evansville, died Sunday at home of cancer.
She was an applicant coordinator for Action Temporaries. She was formerly with Kaiser’s and Ruth Kishline’s and was a buyer for Neiman Marcus in Dallas.
She was an early supporter of the Evansville Day School and its Opportunity Shop. She was a graduate of Hockaday Girls School and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Surviving are a daughter, Beth Gilliam of Evansville; two sons, Michael and Timothy, both of Grants Pass, Ore.; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and nephews. Her husband, James H., died in 1978.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Joseph Baus officiating, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ola Mae Buedel
Ola Mae Buedel, 79, of Evansville, died Sunday at Parkview Care Center of lung complications.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and American Association of Retired Persons.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Joseph H.; a daughter, Shirley Jean Werling of Louisville, Ky.; a son, Joseph Wayne of Colfax, Ind.; a brother, Audrey Chamberlain of Evansville; six grandchildren, Michelle Wood, Beth Ann Veihl, Sarah Stephens and Rachel, Jeremy and Matthew Buedel; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany Church, the Rev. Will Jewsberry officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
