Elnora Shaw
NEW HARMONY — Elnora Shaw, 84, died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at New Harmonie Healthcare Center.
She was a member of the Johnson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Sidonna Southard of New Harmony, Lucy Ann Swiney of Waynesburg, Ohio, and Suenell Watts of Pomona, Kan.; a sister, Louise Elizabeth Owen of New Harmony; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Robert Clyde, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Werry Funeral Home New Harmony Chapel, with burial in Maple Hill cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Edward G. Walz
NEW HARMONY — Edward G. Walz, 87, died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Spectrum East Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich.
He had been a pharmacist.
Surviving are two sons, Fred of Caledonia, Mich., and David of North Bend, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
His wife, Margaret Elizabeth, died in 1992.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Werry Funeral Home New Harmony Chapel, with burial in Maple Hill cemetery.

Shirley Orander
TELL CITY — Shirley M. Orander, 84, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at Beverly Health Care.
She had worked at the former Ken-Rad plant and retired as an inspector after more than 42 years with General Electric in Tell City.
She was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cannelton.
Surviving are two daughters, Marie Plock of Tell City and Debbie Daum of Rome, Ind.; three sisters, Clara Brown of Gainesburg, Ga., Helen Kessner of Tell City and Nancy Snyder of Indianapolis; a brother, Orville of Marcum, Ohio; and two granddaughters, Jody Schaad and Amber Daum.
Her first husband, Thomas McCallister, and her second husband, Charles Orander, both preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cannelton, with burial in New Cliff cemetery in Cannelton.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Huber Funeral Home Cannelton Chapel.

John Schroeder
John M. Schroeder, 57, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at his home of cancer. He had taught mathematics at
North High School and had been a systems engineer at IBM.
In 1980, he co-founded the computer consulting firm of Keller-Schroeder and Associates and served as executive vice president until his illness.
He was a Navy veteran.
He was a 1960 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and served as senior class president. He was a 1964 graduate of the University of Evansville.
He was a member of Crossroads Christian Church, helped establish the Evansville Christian School and served as its first administrator from 1975 to 1978.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Jane; a daughter, Kristen Kenniv of Lebanon, Ohio; a son, Kyle of Evansville a brother, Earl of Mount Vernon, Ind.; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Josiah, Jonathan and Abigail Kenniv; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Crossroads Christian Church, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.

Judith Leeds
Judith A. Leeds, 59, of Newburgh, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at her home of heart failure. She was a legal secretary in the offices of Bamberger, Foreman, Oswald & Hahn for eight years.
She was a 1958 graduate of Mount Carmel High School.
Surviving are a daughter, Sonya Lynn Leeds of Evansville; a son, Scott Allen of Evansville; her mother, Dorothy Alldredge of Lake Jackson, Texas; a sister, Brenda Martin of Evansville; two brothers, Glen Alldredge of Lake Jackson and Ron Alldredge of Mount Carmel, Ill.; two grandchildren, Allison and Matthew Leeds; and nieces.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Marcella Phillips officiating, burial pending.

Mary Vandenbark
Mary E. Vandenbark, 97, of Evansville formerly of Martinsville, Ind., died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at the McCurdy Healthcare Facility.
She was a schoolteacher and taught in the United States and Europe.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Glen Cove cemetery in Knightstown, Ind. There will be no visitation at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, Ind.
Barbara Kennedy
Barbara Lynn Kennedy, 55, of Evansville, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at her home of cancer. She worked for the Rug Gallery in Blue Ash, Ohio, and had worked for Meetings and Events in Evansville.
She received her bachelor of science degree for recreation specialty in 1967 from Indiana University.
She was a member of St. John’s East United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her mother, Geraldine Acker of Evansville; a sister Susan Taylor of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, Scott Acker of Evansville; and a niece and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s East United Church of Christ, the Rev. Daniel Kincaid officiating.

Agnes Hostetter
JASPER — Agnes C. Hostetter, 83, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
She managed D&I; Bingo for many years.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, St. Ann Society and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 673 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Diana O’Keefe of Jasper; two sons, David of Jasper and Duane of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Her husband, Bernard F., died in 1997.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in Fairview cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 3 p.m. at Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel.

The Rev. Ivor Morris
BOONVILLE — The Rev. Ivor R. Morris, 72, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at his home of lung cancer. He was a member of Local 561.
He was a member of the Huntingburg Outreach Ministry and served as the minister.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Margaret; two daughters, Rebecca Lynn Elpers of Dale and Barbara Massey of Moore, Okla.; three sons, Michael and James, both of Boonville and William of Evansville; three sisters, Thelma Wilder of Selvin, Mabel Thompson of Lincoln City and Bernice Duncan of Sebree, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Roberta Kaye Morris, died in 1971.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Koehler Funeral Home, with burial in Maple Grove cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3418.

Helen Eimer
NEW HARMONY — Helen M. (Swaney) Eimer, 88, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at the New Harmonie Healthcare Center.
She had been a bookkeeper.
Surviving are a son, Ron of New Harmony; a sister Katherine Lannam of Austin, Texas; a brother, William of Richmond; and a grandson, William Eimer.
Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death.
Services will be private, with burial pending in Evergreen cemetery in Newport, Ky. Werry Funeral Homes handled the arrangements.
