Pat Kennedy
Pat A. Kennedy, 56, of Evansville formerly of Henderson, Ky., and Carmi, Ill., died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She had worked as a property manager for Given & Spindler for 12 years at Pebble Creek Apartments in Henderson, Heather Ridge and Indian Woods apartments in Evansville.
She attended Carmi High School with the class of 1961 and graduated from high school in Champaign, Ill.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Temple in Henderson.
Surviving are a daughter, Trina Conner of Carmi; two sons, Shane R. Conner of Chicago and Roderick R. Conner of Benton, Ill.; her mother, Waunita McDaniel of Henderson; a sister, Barbara Storey of Henderson; and four grandchildren, Lynsay, Eric and Megan Conner and Allison Lawless.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. R. Joseph Tricquet Jr. officiating, with graveside services at 12:30 p.m. Monday in White County Memorial Garden cemetery in Carmi.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Elizabeth Jamison
Elizabeth Ann (McWilliams) Jamison, 38, of Newburgh, died Thursday, May 25, 2000, in an automobile accident in New-
burgh west of Bell Road.
She worked at Hagedorn’s Tavern in Evansville and had worked at T.J. Maxx for five years.
She was a 1980 Castle High School graduate.
Surviving are her husband of 12 years, Scott P. of Evansville; a daughter, Jennifer Ann Jamison of Newburgh; a son, Nicholas D. Burton of Newburgh; her parents, Ron and Jenny McWilliams of Newburgh; a foster sister, Mary Fitzgerald of Chandler, Ind.; a brother, Gregory McWilliams of Boonville, Ind.; her grandmother, Peggy McWilliams of Eureka, Mo.; and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, the Rev. Jimmy Mitchell officiating, with burial in Rose Hill cemetery in Newburgh.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. to service time at the chapel.
Oscar Mulvey
Oscar G. Mulvey, 79, died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He retired from International Steel.
He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the Pacific Corridor and New Guinea.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Gladys; five daughters, Myrtle Masterson, Flossie Martin, Ruth Beshear, Jarrie Brown and Angeli Danks, all of Evansville; four sons, Dale of Galesburg, Ill., Oscar, Tony and Philip, all of Evansville; a foster son, Tony Cuffman of Evansville; three brothers, Jewell of Ridgway, Ill., Jerel of Eldorado, Ill., and Nobert of Washington State; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, with burial in Park Lawn cemetery, with military rites.

Thomas Edwards
Thomas Edwards, 59, of Bulan, Ky., formerly of Evansville, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at the Hazard (Ky.) Medical Center of liver failure.
He had worked for Butler Coaches out of Indianapolis and had owned and operated T.& N. Carriage in Evansville.
There are no immediate survivors.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Brothers Funeral Home in Hazard. The body was cremated.
Lula Redden
BIRDSEYE — Lula Mabel Redden, 85, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at St. Joseph-Deaconess Hospital in Huntingburg.
Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Borden of Birdseye; two sons, Laverne of English and Basil of Taswell; a sister, Rose Redden of English; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Palmer, died in 1987.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Denbo Funeral Home in English, with burial in Pleasant Ridge cemetery.

MaryFrank Houston
BOONVILLE — MaryFrank Houston, 77, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at Southwind Healthcare of complications of a stroke.
She had been secretary at Roth’s Department Store in Boonville, secretary to Mayor Bob Millis and during World War II was secretary to the vice president of Citizens National Bank.
She had attended Stevens College in Missouri.
She was a member of Hemenway Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, James O. “Jim”; two sons, Scott of Indianapolis and Lee of Boonville; a sister, Jo Ann Skelton of Boonville; a brother, Ted Shaw of Peoria, Ill.; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Jamey, Jacob and Ellee Houston and Shelley Couch; and a great-grandchild. A son, Brent “Deacon” Houston, died in April.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with burial in Maple Grove cemetery.

Jerry Wilkerson
OWENS-VILLE — Jerry D. Wilkerson, 69, died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital of cancer.
He retired after 32 years with Mid-States Rubber Products.
He was a Korean War Army veteran.
He was a member of Maumee General Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sally (Pierson); a daughter, Jacqueline Miller of Fort Branch; a son, Scott of China Spring, Texas; two sisters, Sylvia Williams of Princeton and Marilyn Hurt of Owensville; a brother, Louis Jr. of Owensville; five grandchildren, Aaron and Jered Wilkerson, Taylor Lono and Jordan and Katelyn Miller; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Holder Funeral Home, with burial in Maumee cemetery, with military rites.

James Cook
VINCENNES — James Robert Cook, 80, died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was an electronic technician for Montgomery Ward.
He was a World War II Army veteran, with the the 6th Division and recipient of a Bronze Star.
He was a graduate of DeVry Institute in Chicago and a member of Old Cathedral.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara “Bobbi” Cook of Vincennes; a stepson, Mickey Mauck of Plainfield; two sisters, Gertrude Bagwell of Evansville and Ida Mae Buchanan of Lawrenceville, Ill.; three stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.
His wife, Mary Loyette, died in 1992.
Family graveside services will be private and there will be no visitation at Goodwin Family Funeral Home.
Ruth Bateman
ROCKPORT — Ruth E. Bateman, 83, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
She was a member of Rockport Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Paul D. Jr.; a daughter, Shirley Hardesty of Chandler; two sons, David of Jasper and Ronnie of Rockport; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rockport Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Shiloh cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home.
Eva Loyd
PRINCETON — Eva Jane Loyd, 61, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She was a nurse’s aide at the Holiday Manor Nursing Home and a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Gloria Francis and Deborah K. and Betty Jean Loyd, all of Princeton; a son, Tony Jones of Princeton; a sister, Betty Lou Carnell of Big Sandy, Tenn.; three brothers, Alvis Rex Angle Jr. of Princeton, William L. Angle of California, and John W. Angle Sr. of Francisco; and two grandchildren, David Jones and Angelia Schwartlose.
Her husband, Earl Loyd Jr., and a daughter, Christinia Jo Loyd, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in Columbia White Church cemetery.

Evadean Egg
JASPER — Evadean E. Egg, 88, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
She owned and operated Egg Dry Cleaning in Jasper.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and St. Ann’s Sodality.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Williams of Jasper and Karen Hourigan of Dallas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Earl and a son, Edward, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel, with burial in Fairview cemetery.
