Kathleen Woodbury
Kathleen C. “Katie” Woodbury, 51, of Evansville, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Columbia Health Care Facility of cancer.
She had worked at Schnucks East.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Park Lawn cemetery Patrician Chapel, the Rev. Mike Naugle officiating, with entombment in Park Lawn Mausoleum.
Friends may call from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel and from l p.m. to service time at the Patrician Chapel.

Grace Todd
Grace E. Todd, 85, of Evansville, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Columbia Health Care Facility.
She was a pork producer, had worked for the L&N; Railroad, was a waitress and had owned a restaurant.
She was a Seventh-day Adventist.
Surviving are a sister, Vera Longist of Evansville; and nieces and nephews including, Chuck Russell and Carl Strough, who cared for her. Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, with burial in Springdale cemetery in Sebree, Ky.
Friends may call fro 3 to 8 pm. Monday at the funeral home.
Rev. Floyd Kirves
The Rev. Floyd W. Kirves, 87, of Evansville, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
He had been a building contractor and was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 1936, retiring in 1999.
He received his doctorate of divinity from Oakland City University.
He served for many years as precinct committeeman, he was secretary of the Vanderburgh County Planning Commission, was acting bidding commissioner in Evansville for 15 years and had been president of the Indiana Building Inspectors Association.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 464 and Scottish Rite, regional president of Hi-12 and president for 2 years.
Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Leona Elizabeth (Nation); a daughter, Joyce Bollinger of Newburgh; three sons, Floyd W. Jr. of Evansville, Jack R. of Atlanta and Ronald L. of Bayonet Point, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Kathleen Reynolds, died in 1999.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Barry Kirves officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Andrew Salata
Andrew V. Salata, 80, of Evansville, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at his home of congestive heart failure.
He retired in 1974 after 15 years with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Co. in California and had worked at Harding & Miller Music Co. as a piano tuner.
He was a World War II Amy veteran.
He was a member Bethel United Church of Christ and of the Eagles in Redondo Beach, Calif.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane (Talarzyk); a daughter, Jane Ann Cunningham of Angleton, Texas; two sons, Stephen of Chiloquin, Ore., and Richard of Oregon City, Ore.; a sister, Ann Ready of Bridgeport, Conn.; two brothers, Stephen of Oneonta, N.Y., and Joseph of Bridgeport; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Donald W. Bernhardt officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park.

Iona Drury
Iona Jessie Drury, 84, of Newburgh, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at Cypress Grove Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Surviving are three sons, Donald L. of Evansville, Joseph B. of Richmond, Ind., and Kenneth R. of Newburgh; a sister, Martha Lane of Sanger, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Joseph E., preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.

Granville Blazer
Granville “Earl” Blazer, 33, of Evansville, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He was Protestant.
Surviving are his mother, Ruby Sullivan of Mount Vernon, Ind.; a sister, Helen Key of Mount Vernon; two half sisters, Rosemary Fraley of Harrisburg, Ill., and Patty Wright of Anna, Ill.; two brothers, Harlan and Harvey of Carmi, Ill.; a friend who helped care for him, Chris Thompson of Evansville; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, the Rev. Marcella Phillips officiating, with burial in Union Ridge cemetery in New Haven, Ill.

Angelo Cissell
Angelo W. Cissell, 74, of Evansville, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at his home of a heart condition.
He retired from management at Whirlpool Corp. in 1984.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114.
He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie L.; a daughter, Carol Cissell of Newburgh; two sons, Steve of Evansville and Gary of Texas; four sisters, Frances Boase of Sun City Ariz., Reba Kimmons of Townville, S.C., and Irene Brooks and Margie Hoy, both of Evansville; two brothers, Charles of Chandler, Ind., and Clyde of Cunningham, Ky.; five grandchildren, Jason, Charles, Dax and Nikole Cissell and Heather Herode; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. Robert Hetzel officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.

Elmer Stein
EVANSTON — Elmer Stein, 88, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City.
He retired in 1985 after 22 years with the National Park Service at the Lincoln Boyhood Memorial Park in Lincoln City. He was a farmer and a life member of St. John Lutheran Church, .
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Edna; a daughter, Lois Hawhee of Rockport; a son, Eugene of Evanston; three sisters, Norma Lottes and Elsie Huebschman, both of Tell City and Ruth Dersch of Muncie; nine grandchildren, Lynn Jamerson, Lisa Fenech, Karen Hildenbrand, Dirk Stein, Cathy Ramsey, Angela Dirr, Becky Harlen, Kris Hoalt and Tim Hawhee; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Rita Sitzman
ST MEINRAD — Rita Marie Sitzman, 69, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at her home of an apparent heart attack.
Surviving are her husband, Edmund; four daughters, Mary Jane Sitzman of Union City, N.J., Charlene Goepferich of Cincinnati, Joyce Smith of Marion, N.C., and Rita Faye Henke of Ferdinand; two sons, David of Ferdinand and Gerald and Stephen, both of St. Meinrad; six sisters, Esther Gelhausen of Birdseye, Agnes Ubelhor of St. Meinrad, June Callicott of Senatobia, Miss., Verena Trelter of Ferdinand, Jeannie Bates of Louisville, Ky., and Beverly Vowels of Evansville; two brothers, Robert Schum of St. Meinrad and Michael Schum of Dale; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Meinrad Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Wilford Wheaton
ELBERFELD — Wilford Wheaton, 88, died Thursday, May, 11, 2000, at his home.
He taught school for 45 years, first in one-room schools in Black Oak and Crab Apple and retired from the Elberfeld School. He was a director of the Elberfeld State Bank for 48 years.
He received his teaching certificate from Oakland City College in 1930 and a bachelor’s degree in 1960.
He was a 66-year member, taught Sunday school for 44 years, served as trustee, was on the administrative council, served as church treasurer and was on the cemetery board at New Jerusalem United Methodist Church in Elberfeld.
He was a charter member of Elberfeld Kiwanis.
Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis Kitchens of Elberfeld; a son, Eugene of Fort Branch; a sister, Frances of Wheatonville; four grandchildren, Michael Wheaton, Tamara Allison and John and Anne Kitchens; and great-grandchildren.
His wife of 64 year, Caroline, died in 1999.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at New Jerusalem United Methodist Church, with burial in Northview cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Volkman Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to service time at the church.
