Delta Cox
VINCENNES — Delta F. Seltzinger Cox, 76, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Lodge of the Wabash.
She had worked at Eddie’s IGA and Tresslar’s.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing and crafts.
Surviving are three daughters, Debbie Ceja and Sue Luking, both of Vincennes, and Linda Richards of Lawrenceville, Ill.; two sons, Jerry of Lawrenceville and Morris of Kissimmee, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Seitzinger, and second husband, Robert Cox.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview cemetery.

Judy East
CANNELTON — Judy Ann East, 47, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City of cancer.
She worked for Farbest Foods in Ferdinand.
He was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church in Tell City and was a Navy veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Victoria Atkins of English; a son, John of Cannelton; her stepmother, Luetta Comella of Chico, Calif.; a half sister, Linda Deniston of Fresno, Calif.; a stepsister, Gwen Smith of Chico; four brothers, Mike Boyce of Sacramento, Calif., Leroy Boyce and Richard “Bill” Murray, both of Chico, and Jerry Boyce of Woodland, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Shae Marie and Ebonee Rose East.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Earl, in 1994.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel, with burial in Deer Creek cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Infants James Edward Jr. and Joseph Michael Miles
TELL CITY — James Edward Jr. and Joseph Michael Miles, infant sons of Crystal Dawn Davis and James E. Miles Sr., were stillborn Saturday, May 27, 2000, at University of Louisville Medical Center.
Also surviving are a sister, Honey Lee Miles of Tell City; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Michael Puckett of Falls of Rough, Ky.; and great-grandparents.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor-Raymond-Spear Funeral Home in Lewisport, Ky., with burial in Cooper Puckett cemetery near Lewisport.

Helen Graul
WADESVILLE — Helen Graul, 70, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Diana White of Mount Vernon and Mary Saponka of Norris City, Ill.; a son, Phillip Jr. of Blairsville, Ill.; two sisters, Ruth Winebarger and Annie Oakley, both of Providence, Ky.; two brothers, Herbert Winebarger of Providence and James Winebarger of New Harmony; five grandchildren, Jeff Underwood, Bobbie Hamblin, Shannon and Gary White Jr. and Lindsey Graul; and a great-granddaughter.
Her husband, Phillip, died in 1995.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Alexander Memorial Park chapel in Evansville, with burial in the cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel in Evansville and from 9 a.m. to service time at the cemetery chapel.
Irma Lasher
DERBY — Irma M. Lasher, 92, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at her home.
She retired in 1974 after 33 years of teaching at Derby, Dexter and Perry Central schools. She was a member of the Indiana and Perry County Retired Teachers Association, the National Education Association and the Perry County Classroom Teachers Association.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold, St. Meinrad Endowment Club, Oblates of St. Benedict, Daughters of Isabella and American Legion Post 213 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a 4-H leader in the Dexter area and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma sorority.
She attended Indiana State Teachers College and Evansville College.
Surviving are a brother, Charles Elder of Tell City; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, John, died in 1973.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church, with burial in St. Mary cemetery in Derby.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a memorial service at 6 p.m., and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel.

Mildred Pemberton
BRUCEVILLE — Mildred Ellen Pemberton, 80, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at her home.
She worked as a nurse’s aide during the 1950s at Connersville Hospital.
She was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Maurice; a daughter, Mary E. Wade of Lafayette; a brother, Leo D. McHale of Sheridan; three grandsons; and three great-grandsons.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park cemetery in Vincennes.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home in Vincennes.
Mary Hosick
PRINCETON — Mary Louise Kesterson Hosick, 64, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Deaconess Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.
She was a retired office worker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving are her caregiver, with whom she lived, Robert Hosick; her stepmother, Edith Beck of Owensville; two sisters, Shirley Peach of Princeton and Fern Chamberlain of Evansville; a stepsister, Corelleyn Baker of Owensville; a foster brother, Emerson Duff of Newburgh; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph cemetery in Princeton.
There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Patrick Madjarac
Patrick Lyn Madjarac, 30, of Evansville, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, in Ingleside, Texas. The cause of death is pending autopsy results in Texas.
He was a 13-year veteran of the Navy and was stationed on board the USS Raven (MCH61).
Surviving are his wife, Lana (Hite); a daughter, Brittani Madjarac at home; a son, Bret at home; his mother, Katherine Curtis of Chicago; a sister, Paula Escamilla; a brother, Perry Curtis; an uncle who raised him, James Curtis; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park cemetery, with military rites.

Mary Mattingly
Mary Rose (Crane) Mattingly, 78, formerly of Evansville, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at the home of her daughter, Diane McAlpin in Cookeville, Tenn., of cancer.
She was a 1941 graduate of Memorial High School.
She was a former member of St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville and St. Anthony’s Parish in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and a current member of St. Thomas Aquinas of Cookeville.
Also surviving are a son, Dan of Englewood, Fla.; a sister, Catherine “Katie” Harber of Plantation, Fla.; two brothers, James Crane of British Columbia, Canada, and Paul Crane of Evansville; six grandchildren, Jessica Mattingly, Michelle Craft and Jacob, Charles, Catherine and Zachary McAlpin; and a great-grandchild.
Her husband, Charles, died in 1975.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Browning Funeral Home, continuing at 10 a.m. at St. Benedict Cathedral, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery.

Steven Scarbrough
Steven E. Scarbrough, 49, of Evansville, died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at his home from liver disease.
He worked in the home improvement business.
He was a member of Vann Avenure Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Kimberly (West); a daughter, Maria Nicole Schmidt Scarbrough of Evansville; two stepdaughters, Brandy and Kelly West, both of Evansville; a son, Steven Ray of Evansville; his parents, John and Betty Scarbrough of Evansville; a sister, Delores Lutz of Evansville; a brother, Johnny M. of Richland City, Ind.; a grandchild, Destin Jay Svestka Scarbrough; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Robert Nall officiating.

Danny Market
Danny Ray Market, 47, formerly of Evansville, died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at his home in Gilbert, Ariz., of cancer.
He had been a driver for Farm Service Supply (the family business) in Marengo, Ill.
Surviving are three daughters, Jamie Lee Lemus of Utah, and Carrie Sue and Andrea Jean Market, both of Marengo; his mother, Margie Jeffrey of Hatch, N.M.; his father, Robert H. Market of Marengo; a sister, Leeanne Ritzman of Texas; a brother, Tony Allan of Marengo; and his companion and caregiver, Sandra McDaniel of Gilbert.
A memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Marengo Union Funeral Home. Falconer Funeral Home in Gilbert, Ariz., is handling arrangements.
