Connie Richardson
VINCENNES, Ind. — Connie J. Richardson, 66, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis of kidney failure.
She was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church and the Lawrenceville Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving are her husband, C. Frank of Vincennes; two sons, James E. of Owensville and John R. of Vincennes; a brother, Buddy Goodwin of Vincennes; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with burial in Upper Indiana cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ethridge Miller
HUNTINGBURG, Ind. — Ethridge Miller, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper of respiratory failure.
She was a graduate of St. Benedict’s College in Ferdinand.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Bates of Dania, Fla., and Rebecca Reinhardt of Lanesville; a sister, Mary Alice Smith of Washington, Ind.; four grandchildren, Victoria Bedford, Traci Martin, and Angie and Darren Reinhardt; and a great-grandchild. Her husband, Wilford J., died in 1999.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. EST Saturday at Nass and Son Funeral Home, with a reception following at the Y.M.I. Club.

Martin Wood
TELL CITY, Ind. — Martin F. Wood, 78, of Sulphur, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital of cancer.
He retired in 1984 from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, serving in China, constructing airstrips used by the Flying Tigers.
He was a life member of the China, India and Burma Veterans and the Flying Tigers, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the United Auto Workers Local 662.
He was a Hoosier National Forest volunteer from 1986 to 1995 and was a campground host at Celina Lake.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Jeannene; a daughter, Julie Wood of Sulphur; four sons, Franklin R. of Vevay, Danny L. of Thompson Station, Tenn., Ronald G. of Indianapolis and James N. of Anderson; a brother, Albert G. of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Crystal Beatty, Nicole, Jessica, Carly, Lacey and Rachael Wood and Melisa Cottrell; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. EST Saturday, Jan. 29, at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel, with burial pending.
Lawrence Mann
TELL CITY, Ind. — Lawrence E. Mann, 72, died of cancer Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at the home of his brother, Don Mann in Tell City.
He retired in 1989 from Bridgeport Brass Co. in Indianapolis, after 23 years as a millwright. He was a World War II Army veteran and member of the American Legion Post 230 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939.
Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Clark of Uniontown, Ky., and Geraldine Sumpter of Mountain Grove, Mo. He was preceded in death by two wives, Eliza Katie and Ruth.
Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Saturday at Lilly Dale Church of Christ, with burial in the church cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Huber Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Memorial Hospital Hospice.
Richard Englehart
WASHINGTON, Ind. — Richard Raymond Englehart, 82, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Washington Nursing Center.
He was a 1936 graduate of Plainville High School.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Ruth Gill of Van Horn, Texas; two sons, James R. of rural Washington and Alan of Owensboro, Ky.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gill Funeral Home, with burial in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Helen Gipson
Helen Louise Gipson, 76, of Evansville, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Columbia Health Care of a heart attack.
She attended Christian Fellowship Church.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Lee; two daughters, Faye Paddock of Evansville and Bonnie Sue Kirk of Boonville, Ind.; a son, Jerry Lee of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Ova Adcock of Evansville and Ora Woods of Chandler, Ind.; three grandchildren, Jesse Schwab, Cindy Paddock and Jayna McClarney; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home, the Rev. Spencer Downs officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Margaret Grefe
Margaret M. (Singel) Grefe, 90, of Evansville, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Columbia Healthcare Facility.
She was a member of St.
Joseph Catholic Church in the city since 1935, where she was a member of the St. Ann Altar Society, Senior Citizens and worked in the kitchen during the summer social and Sunday dinners. She was also a member of the Knights of St. John St. Theresa Auxiliary 243.
She attended Holy Trinity School and was a 1927 graduate of Memorial High School.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law who cared for her, Paul Stephen and Rena F. Grefe of Wadesville, Ind.; two grandchildren, Lisa Rene Nunn and Christopher Alan Grefe; a great-granddaughter; and nephews.
Her husband, Gilbert E., died in 1947.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the city, the Rev. Michael E. Allen and the St. Joseph pastoral team officiating, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with memorial services at 4 and 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Ronald Saulman
Ronald J. Saulman, 63, of Evansville, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of respiratory failure.
He retired in 1991 from the Evansville Fire Department after 32 years, serving 15 years as captain, four years as union president and four years as district vice president.
He helped modify the Knight Township Volunteer Fire Department and was elected to two terms as Knight Township trustee. He also was past president of Inland Marina Yacht Club and Inland Slip Owners Association.
He was a Navy veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Charles Denby Post 2953.
Surviving are his wife, Diana (Beauchamp); a daughter, Laura Sexton-McCloskey of Evansville; his mother, Pearl Saulman of Evansville; a brother-in-law, Paul Hotz of Evansville, with whom he was raised; and two grandchildren, Kaleb and Kelsey McCloskey.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, Todd Bussey officiating, with burial in Park Lawn cemetery, with Fire Department honor guard rites.

Timothy Kelly
Timothy O. Kelly, 47, of Mount Prospect, Ill., formerly of Newburgh, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago of a heart attack.
He attended Castle High School, was a graduate of Butler University and received his master’s degree from the University of Chicago.
He was an Eagle Scout and a coach of the Green and White soccer team, the Wildcats Traveling Team and Park District girls basketball.
Surviving are his wife, Angela (Mauer); two daughters, Erin and Mary Kate Kelly, both at home; his mother, Marjorie Barnett of Evansville; and a sister, Robin Wiseman of Evansville.
Services were at St. Raymond Church in Elmhurst, Ill., with burial in All Saints cemetery in Des Plaines, Ill.
Friedrichs Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Carolyn Forbes
Carolyn Sue (Gooch) Forbes, 67, formerly of Evansville, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, in West Chicago, Ill., of emphysema.
Surviving are a daughter, Jeanne Mosier of West Chicago; two sons, Thomas and Robert, both of West Chicago; two brothers, Charles Gooch of Deale, Md., and Raymond Gooch of Evansville; and four grandchildren.
Services were in West Chicago.
C. Earl Miller
VINCENNES — Retired Army Lt. Col. C. Earl Miller, 90, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was a World War II veteran, retiring from the Army. He also retired from Sears Roebuck and Co. in Vincennes.
He was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Retired Officers Association. He was scheduled to be grand marshal of the flag day parade in Bicknell next weekend.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Lane); a sister, Esther E. Memering of Vincennes; and a brother, Willard O. of Laguna Hills, Calif.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany Presbyterian Church, with burial in Fairview cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to service time at the church.
