Nellie Marshall
Nellie Louise Marshall, 88, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
She was a member of the Methodist Temple, Dorcas United Methodist Fellowship and the Bible Study Fellowship.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Charles R.; a daughter, Nancy E. Sannella of Muncie, Ind.; a son, C. Richard of Columbus, Ind.; two sisters, C. Fern Bicking and Bernice E. Rose, both of Evansville; a brother, Robert L. Lawlace of Trinity, Texas; six grandchildren, Joseph A. and Stephen Sannella, Sueanne Shirzay and C. Kevin, Lisa N. and Kathryn E. Marshall; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist Temple, the Rev. Robert Coleman officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel.

Mildred Stivers
Mildred A. “Mickey” Stivers, 74, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center from a fall.
She retired from Faultless Caster. She was one of the first shoe saleswomen in Indiana working at the Shoe Box in Evansville. She had been active in the Democratic Party.
She was a member St. Benedict Cathedral.
Surviving are a daughter, Martha “Marty” Stocker of Evansville; two sisters, Carolyn Eissler and Marilyn Grief, both of Evansville; five brothers, Noble “Ed, ” Ray, Clarence Jr., Roy “Dusty” and Louis; and six grandchildren, Laura and Edward Stocker, Bridget Fussner, Delbert, Jeffrey Allen and Kathy Jo Godby; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Harold Hammerstein officiating, with entombment in St. Joseph cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Paul Cox Sr.
Paul V. Cox Sr., 68, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital of cancer.
He was a member of the Owls and Veterans of Foreign Wars Helping Hands.
Surviving are three daughters, Lori Cox of Mount Vernon, Ind., Andrea Lee Cox and Debra Lynn DeVold, both of Evansville; a son, Paul Jr. of Longmont, Colo.; two sisters, Margaret Meyers and Charlotte George, both of Evansville; a brother, Richard of Evansville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, the Rev. Garry Lanham officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.

Ralph Dickey
MOUNT VERNON, Ind. — Ralph Eugene Dickey, 78, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Westpark Rehabilitation Center in Evansville of pneumonia.
He worked for the Heath Candy Co. in Robinson, Ill., for 5 years and retired after 33 years with the Marathon Oil Co. as a transport driver in 1986.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a Pearl Harbor survivor.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Beulah Lodge 578 and former member of the Civitan Club.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Vera (Boldrey); a daughter, Sondra Seibert of Shelbyville, Ky.; a grandson, Kenan Seibert; a great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Boone Funeral Home Mount Vernon Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville, with military rites.

Mary White
OWENSVILLE, Ind. — Mary Lucille White, 87, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Owensville Convalescent Center.
She was a member of the First General Baptist Church and charter member of the Philathea Class.
Surviving are a son, Don Keith of Owensville; two sisters, Helen Rosenbarger and Jean Wood, both of Evansville; a brother, William E. Brown of Mount Carmel, Ill.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Louis P., died in 1963 and a son, Gerald W., died in 1990.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holder Funeral Home, with burial in Owensville cemetery.

Delbert Neaveill
OWENSVILLE, Ind. — Delbert Jefferson Neaveill, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
He had been a farmhand and was a member of the Bethsaida Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred (Lang); a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dunkle of Mount Carmel, Ill.; two sons, Charles Lee of Owensville and Wayne of West Salem, Ill.; a sister, Laverna Fern Schultz of La Habra Heights, Calif.; a brother, Darrell of Pacific, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Mary Louise (Brandenstein), died in 1979.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Werry Funeral Home Poseyville Chapel, with burial in Bethsaida cemetery in Stewartsville.

Alvis Ashley
BOONVILLE, Ind. — Alvis W. Ashley, 82, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at St. Mary’s Warrick.
He had been a projectionist at the
Rex Theater and retired after 27 years with the Southern Indiana Gas & Electric Co.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Mary; a daughter, Donna Lutz of Boonville; two sons, Jerry of Boonville and Steven of Princeton; two sisters, Ruby Benjamin of Anderson and Lena Mae Hart of Hudson, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jason, Jared and Aaron Ashley, Kellie Nicholson, and Jeffrey and Christopher Lutz; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with burial in Maple Grove cemetery.

Hilda Rasor
ROCKPORT, Ind. — Hilda E. Rasor, 85, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Professional Rehabilitation Center in Dale.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, including Norman Smickers and Noma Roush who cared for her.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Zion cemetery in Richland City.

Maxine Horn
RICHLAND CITY, Ind. — Maxine Elizabeth Horn, 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at her home.
She was a member of Baker’s Creek Baptist Church in Eureka.
Surviving are three daughters, Kalani Decker and Marilyn McReynolds, both of Rockport, and Dixie Cornett of Otisville, Mich.; two sons, William of Richland City and Patrick of Henderson, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Estel E., died in 1999 and a son, Michael, died in 1977.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, with burial in James Parker cemetery in Hatfield.

Paul Kaiser
HUNTINGBURG, Ind. — Paul C. Kaiser, 70, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at his home of cancer.
He had been a factory worker and had worked for M.L.D.D. Farms.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, Irene A.; six daughters, Paula Houchins and Caroline Mathies, both of Huntingburg, Patricia Bogard of Terre Haute, Rebecca Smith of Boonville, Sharon Weisman of Dale and Dorothy Kreilein of Jasper; two sisters, Lucille Stippler and Irene Willem, both of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Nass & Son Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
