Carolyn Frank
ROCKPORT, Ind. — Carolyn Faye Frank, 58, died Sunday, March 19, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She was a member of the Gospel Mission Church.
Surviving are her husband, Herman; a daughter, Jenny Garrett of Rockport; four sons, Joe and Scott Fulkerson, both of Rockport, Kevin Fulkerson of Grandview and Troy Fulkerson of Cartersville, Ga.; his mother, Virginia Whitehouse of Owensboro, Ky.; a sister, Janet Fortner of Owensboro; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, with burial in Shiloh cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Clem Skelton Sr.
HUNTINGBURG, Ind. — Clem C. Skelton Sr. 79, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at the Harbor Side Nursing Home in Venice, Fla.
He retired in 1987 from DFI Industries in Huntingburg.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Venice, Masonic Lodge in Newburgh, and Evansville Scottish Rite and Hadi Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Eunice Skelton; a daughter, Ada Hollingsworth of Hernando, Fla.; a son, Clem Jr. of Apex, N.C.; two grandchildren, Melissa Lagoo of North Port, Fla., and Joshua Skelton of Denver; and a great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Selvin United Methodist Church, with burial in Selvin cemetery, with military rites.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time at the church.

Maymie Gilford
Maymie Louise (Talbott) Gilford, 65, of Evansville, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Brentwood Nursing & Rehab Center of a stroke.
She retired from WFIE after 25 years.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, and the Lincoln Douglas Clark Alumni Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Tonya Gilford Porter of Evansville; a sister, Linda Shane-Salmon of Evansville; a brother, Charles Towler of Chicago; two grandchildren, Christopher Gilford and Kiawna Porter; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church, the Revs. W.R. Brown Sr. and W.R. Brown Jr. officiating, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.

James Emrich
James J. Emrich, 70, of Evansville, died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Select Hospital of respiratory failure.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years and was a member of the Retired Postal Workers.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, American Legion Eugene Pate Post 265, past post commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars 2953 and 8th District Commander in 1981.
Surviving are his wife of 12 years, Margie; a daughter, Cathy Kappenman of Evansville; two stepdaughters, Kim Detalente and Candy Wurertz, both of Evansville; two sons, Keith of Tampa, Fla., and Phillip of Orlando, Fla.; a stepson, Steve Kastle of Evansville; seven grandchildren, Jeanine and Emily Kappenman, Matthew, Angela, Sheryl, David James and Madeline Emrich; five stepgrandchildren, Joshua, Eric and Adam Wurertz, Tyler Detalente and Sean Kastle; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Rev. Henry Kuykendall officiating, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery.

Dr. Emanuel Sabel
Dr. Emanuel Stanley Sabel, 76, of Evansville, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at the home of his daughter in Howell, N.J., of cancer.
He was an optometrist in Evansville for 45 years, retiring 11 years ago.
He was a member of Temple Adath B’nai Israel, Hadi Temple, Lessing Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and B’nai B’rith Thisbe.
Surviving are his wife, Fanchon J. (Gordon); a daughter, Debra Metter of Howell, N.J.; a son, Michael Gordon Sabel of New York City; four brothers, Melvin of Los Angeles, Herbert of Evansville and Sherman and Norman, both of Atlanta; and a granddaughter, Shira Madison Eve Metter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, with burial in Mount Carmel cemetery.

Mona Wedding
Mona Phyllis (Floyd) Wedding, 63, of Evansville, formerly of Sebree, Ky., died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital of cancer.
She worked at Family Dollar in Evansville.
Surviving are her husband, George D.; a daughter, Kathy Jean Brooks of Evansville; four sons, George Robert “Tooter, ” William Tommy and Raymond L., all of Evansville, and Tom of Boston; a sister, Judy Condiff of Evansville; two brothers, J.R. and Danny Floyd, both of Evansville; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky, in 1994.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tompkins Funeral Home Sebree-Poole Chapel in Sebree, Ky., the Rev. Thornton Stanley officiating, with burial in the family plot in Springdale cemetery near Sebree.

Mildred Rocca
Mildred J. Rocca, 77, of Evansville, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital of heart failure.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are three sons, Donald of Newburgh, Stephen of Boonville, Ind., and Kim of Evansville; eight grandchildren, Jeffery D., Brandy, Stephanie, Samantha, Kelly, Kris, Kerry and Adrian Rocca; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Oak Hill Mausoleum Chapel, with entombment in Oak Hill Mausoleum.
There will be no visitation at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel.

Infant William Rogers II
William Joseph Rogers II, 3-month old son of William and Bonnie Rogers of Evansville, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Deaconess Hospital. An autopsy has been performed.
Also surviving are two sisters, Megon and Autumn Rogers, both at home; his grandparents, Leola Rogers and Mike and Vicki Raibley; and great-grandparents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Ind., the Rev. Tim Judd officiating, with burial in Mount Zion cemetery in Richland, Ind.

Ruth Fougnies
FORT BRANCH, Ind. — Ruth A. Fougnies, 98, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Gibson General Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Allen and Geraldine Davis, both of Fort Branch; three sons, Bob of Indianapolis, Eugene of Fort Branch and William of Princeton; a sister, Irene Calvert of Spencer; a brother, Jonse Landis of Plainfield; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1969; two daughters, Betty Fougnies in 1923, and Phyllis Reed in 1999; and by a son, Charles, in 1985.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Stodghill Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Hill cemetery.

Chester Mason
OAK-LAND CITY, Ind. — Chester G. Mason, 91, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at the home of his goddaughter in Princeton.
He worked at Servel Inc. in Evansville and for the State and Gibson County Highway Departments.
He was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Oakland City Eastern Star Chapter 451, Masonic Lodge 467 and the Oakland City Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two goddaughters, J.J. Heerdink of Princeton and Amy Meyer of Louisville, Ky.; and four sisters, Alma Hunley, Elnora Whitman and Eliza Austin, all of Oakland City, and Phyllis Riley of Somerville.
His wife, Loyce, died in 1996.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with burial in Montgomery cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with Masonic memorial services at 7 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Lois McCallister
TELL CITY, Ind. — Lois A. (Hagerdon) McCallister, 47, died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis of complications due to an automobile accident and stroke.
She retired from the former TCB Bank as a teller.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, a former leader of the St. Mark 4-H Club in rural Tell City and a former member of the Perry County Extension Board.
She was a 1970 graduate of Tell City High School.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Lloyd; a daughter, Lisa Kessens of Tell City; a son, Leslie of Tell City; her parents, Ray and Louise Hagerdon of Tell City; and five sisters, Janice Flamion of Newburgh, Judy Schneider of Indianapolis, Karen Doogs of Cannelton, Linda Vojtaskovic of Oakland City and Donna Seamon of Chandler.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City, with burial in Deer Creek cemetery in rural Tell City.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel.
