Wilma Dike
DALE, Ind. — Wilma D. Dike, 85, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at the Huntingburg Convalescent Center.
She was a member and organist at the Dale United Methodist Church for more than 30 years.
Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Weitkamp of Newburgh, Linda Lancioni of Frankfort, Ky., and Darlene Hubster of Holland; a son, Charles of Dale; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Marvin, died in 1989.
Services will be at 10 a.m. CST Thursday at the Fuller Funeral Home and Crematory in Dale, with burial in the Maple Grove cemetery.

Velma Arnold
PETERSBURG, Ind. — Velma Arnold, 77, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at her home of cancer.
She was a teller at Citizens State Bank in Petersburg, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of the General Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Grester; two daughters, Faye Bilskie of Vincennes and Bonnie Bottoms of Monroe City; a sister, Arlene Gentry of Washington, Ind.; and four grandchildren, Sandra and Eric Stewart and Jeff and Philip Bottoms.
A daughter, Martha Nell Arnold, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. EST Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, with burial in Anderson Chapel cemetery.

Glen Hildebrand
STENDAL, Ind. — Glen E. Hildebrand, 73, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at his home from heart failure.
He was a farmer and retired coal miner.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis Lechner of Stendal; a son, Mark of Scottsburg; a sister, Catherine Beumer of Holland; a brother, Roy of Evansville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His wife, June L. (Hagemeyer), died in 1992.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, with burial in St. Peter’s cemetery.

Clara Walter
CHANDLER, Ind. — Clara J. Walter, 82, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at her home.
She was a member of the Shepherd of Paradise Lutheran Church in Newburgh.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Herschel; a daughter, Sayra Kolley of Chandler; four grandchildren, Vicki, Jennifer and Walter Brent Kolley and Sheryl Timmons; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel, with burial in the Lutheran cemetery in Evansville.

Margaret Miller
PRINCETON, Ind. — Margaret Pearlolee Welman Miller, 79, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at her home.
She attended Glendale Holiness Church.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, David Earl; two daughters, Pat Morrison of Princeton and Kay Stramm of Monroeville; two sons, Jack of Fort Branch and Sam of Mitchell; a brother, Gerald Welman of Memphis, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Odd Fellows cemetery in Princeton. Colvin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mary Brown
WADESVILLE, Ind. — Mary A. Brown, 55, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at her home of cancer.
She was a coordinator at Qualex Corp.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Daniel J.; a son, Daniel D. of Wadesville; her mother, Alyce Cook of Evansville; her father, Dale C. Boyer of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three brothers, Gene Boyer of Pinellas Park, Fla., Carlos Boyer of Columbia, S.C., and Dale Boyer of Summerville, S.C.; and a granddaughter, Tabitha Brown.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, with burial in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Parker Settlement, Ind.

Frank Knight
PRINCETON, Ind. — Frank Knight, 79, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at his home.
He had taught school for 28 years and had been a superintendent and a principal.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the American Legion Post 25.
He was a member of Bethel Memorial Church.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Hester (Woods); a daughter, Sharon Sue Brown of Boonville; a son Richard F. of Princeton; a sister, Doris Helm of Princeton; a brother, Warner of Evansville; seven grandchildren, Cathy Starkey, RoShay Higginbotham, Reina Kreig, Jenni Harrison, Rhonda Coomer, Stephanie Linnehan and Shelby Knight; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in Columbia White Church cemetery.

Beverly Barcus
BOONVILLE, Ind. — Beverly Barcus, 58, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at St. Mary’s Warrick from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Nov. 3.
She had worked at the Boonville Wal-Mart.
Surviving are a daughter, Angela McConnell of San Diego; a sister, Carol Dimmett of Lynnville; a stepsister, Greta Fortune of Boonville; and two brothers, John Faass of Boonville and Steve Faass of Newburgh.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bradley’s Colonial Chapel, with burial in Maple Grove cemetery.

Jane Hoar
FORT BRANCH, Ind. — Jane Stevens Hoar, 85, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Owensville Convalescent Center.
She retired from L.S. Ayres Co. in Fort Wayne and was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Marcia Douglas of Owensville, Carol Ann Fisher of Clearwater, Fla., and Pamela S. Barry of Indianapolis; two sons, Bob of Fort Wayne and Jim of New Haven; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Ronald, died in May.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Holder Funeral Home Owensville Chapel, with burial in the Clark cemetery.

Emma Woolard
EVANSTON, Ind. — Emma Lou Woolard, 79, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Professional Care Nursing Home in Dale.
She was co-owner and administrator of Professional Care Nursing Home.
She had been a clerk for the Spencer County treasurer’s office, family services and Spencer County Republican vice chairwoman.
She was a member of the Patronville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Jo Kratzer and Beth Harney, both of Grandview; a son, Robin K. of Utica, Ky.; two sisters, Robin Huff of Huntingburg and Pearl Shourds of Evansville; a brother, James A. Hopkins of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with burial in New Hope cemetery in Newtonville.

Connie Kain
Connie L. Kain, 63, of Evansville, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital from complications of cancer.
She had served as president of the Children’s Theater and the U-ACE Swim Club, vice-president and director emeritus of the Evansville Freedom Festival board of directors, president of the Zoological Society and board member of the Zoological Foundation. She was a volunteer at WNIN and served as their auction manager for several years. She was active in the Republican Party, serving as Fifth Ward precinct committeeman.
She was a member of the Burdette Park board of directors and Vanderburgh Auditorium board. She was a graduate of Leadership Evansville.
She was a member of the St. Benedict Parish, Evansville Museum Society, Reitz Home Guild, Kennel Club and past member of Oak Meadow Country Club.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Todd; two sons, Alan of Atlanta, and Kevin of Evansville; a brother, Gary Allen of Monroe, Ind.; a granddaughter, Erin; and nieces and nephews.
Her daughter Becky died in 1965.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, continuing at 9 a.m. at St. Benedict Cathedral, the Rev. Gregory Chamberlin officiating, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
