JOSEPH N. LIGMAN, 79, died Thursday at home. Born in Beloit, Wis., he owned and operated several businesses in Kendallville, including Custom Molding Fiberglass and KV Molded Products, and was co-owner of K&L; Stamping. He was a World War II and Korean War Marine Corps veteran. His first wife, Lois S., died in 1967. LEE R. McDUFFEE, 94, of Dunedin, Fla., formerly of LaOtto, died Dec. 6 in Aiken, S.C. He was a retired professional auctioneer and a farmer. Born in Westfield, he worked at the Naval Ordinance during World War II and then owned and operated a gas station, ran a bread route for Omar Bread Co. and later was a milk man for Roberts Dairy. He was an insurance agent for Prudential for 20 years and a tool maker for Fox Products in South Whitley for 20 years. His wife, Marieta L., died in 1987. Surviving are three sons, J. Jerry of Blairesville, Ga., John R. of Elbert, Colo., and Jack A. of South Whitley; a daughter, Jean E. HELEN L. IDLE BAKEHORN, 80, died Wednesday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Grant County, she retired in 1983 as a GTE long- distance operator after 26 1/2 years and was past president of American Legion Auxiliary in Wabash. Her first husband, Kenneth Idle, died in 1976 and second husband, LeRoy Bakehorn, in 1992. Surviving are two sons, John C. Idle of Las Vegas and David L. Idle of Wabash; four stepsons, LeRoy Bakehorn Jr. of Greencastle, James Bakehorn of Fort Wayne, John Bakehorn of Wabash and Thomas Bakehorn of Florida; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Bakehorn of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary Cochern of Marion and Jon Haag and Nancy Watkins, both of Wabash. HARRIET "PAT" MOSELEY, 89, died Wednesday at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home, Warsaw. Born in Detroit, she was a real estate and property manager, retiring in 1974. She was tribal elder for Sault Nation Chippewa Tribe in Michigan. Her husband, Melvin, died in 1997. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Swords of Lakeport, Mich., Barbara Barrett-Martinez of Warsaw and Judith Cats of Vancouver, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Harriet Hopkins of Michigan; a brother, Frances Delos Ramsey of Indian River, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son.
