Helen Louise Schultz, 87, Scottsburg, formerly of Kokomo, died at 2 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, Hampton Oaks Health Campus, Scottsburg. She was born Aug. 9, 1921, Litchfield, Conn., to Ernest and Edith (Warren) White. She married Frederick Schultz, on June 22, 1940, in Connecticut.
She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.
She was survived by three sons, Donald Schultz and wife Suzanne, Greentown, Dave Schultz and wife Helen, Hartford City, and Douglas Schultz and wife Marty, Montmorenci; a daughter, Diane Martin and husband Howard, Seymour; a brother, Ken White, Georgia; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; both parents, six brothers, and three sisters.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 2723 Albright Road, Kokomo; envelopes will be provided in the mortuary.

Marie J. Brass, 62, Kokomo, went home to be with the Lord at 8:24PM Friday, March 20, 2009 in Windsor Estates Health & Rehab Center. She was born July 21, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Milton Edward and Patricia (Kelly) Bradley. Marie received her nursing degree in 1974 and also was a Motel Manager in Indianapolis for 20 years before retiring. Surviving are a son, Bill Brass and wife Kim, Kokomo, grandson, Dustin Brass, Kokomo, brother, Milton Butch? Bradley, Largo, Florida, brother, Michael Bradley and special sister in law, Barbara, Kokomo. Preceding her in death were a sister, Pat Corky Shearon and brother in law, Thomas Shearon, sister, Nancy (Bradley) Day and brother in law, William F. Day, nephew, Thomas Tug Shearon.
Mary Louise Budd

Mary Louise Budd, 85, Kokomo, passed away at 12:17AM Monday, March 23, 2009 in St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis after a 3 month illness. She was born September 22, 1923 in Kokomo to the late Thomas J. and Ethel (Radar) Budd. She had worked at Delco Radio and also Kresge Department Store. She was a 60 year member of Beamer United Methodist Church and a present member of New Life Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by a brother and sister in law, Donald and Mary Budd, Kokomo and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Thomas J. Budd, sisters, Sarah J. (Budd) McKee, Juanita M. (Budd) Love.
Sylvia Degler

Services: Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 26, 2009 in Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main Street, Kokomo. Reverend Will Jewsbury will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the mortuary.
Sylvia Degler, 89, of Kokomo, died at 10:44 PM Sunday, March 22, 2009 in St Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. Born January 11, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter Lacey and Flossie (Hale). On October 21, 1939 in Kokomo, she married Trevor Grant Degler, who preceded her in death on November 14, 2007. She was a teacher and remedial teaching specialist for Kokomo School System for 27 years, before retiring. She was a member of the Swinging Squares, also an associate member of the 292 Hobby Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Kay (Larry)Spradlin of Kokomo; four sons, Walter “Danny� Degler of Woodstock, GA, Ronald Raymond (Kathy) Degler of Aurora, CO, Dale Allan Degler of Dodgeville, NY, Dennis Grant (Margarita) Degler of Georgetown, TX; also 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Memorials: Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army with envelopes available at the mortuary.
Frank Everett Driver

Frank (Everett) Sr. Driver 72, of Kokomo passed away at 11:54pm, Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1936 in Kentucky to Dewey T. and Alma S. (Creek) Driver. His marriage to the former Mildred Dishner who survives took place in Duffield, VA on September 3, 1957.
Mr. Driver was a Teamster from #543, he loved NASCAR racing, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family while on camping trips.
Survivors include his wife Mildred, three sons; Kenneth Wayne Driver of Gate City, VA, James Driver and his wife Teresa of Flora, Frank Jr. and his Partner Harry Abernathy Gloucester, VA, two daughters Marieta Camp and her husband Victor of Kokomo, Barbara Drive, and her partener Gary McClanahan of Kokomo; three brothers; Stanley Driver and his wife Marilyn, Joe and Ted Driver all of Kokomo; three sisters; Jean Sears, Carol Reynolds, and Pam Cook and her husband Arnold all of Kokomo. Six grandchildren; Alanna Driver, Chad and Brad Driver, Josh Camp and his wife Leah, Jake Camp and his wife Alisha and Brittany Driver. One great-grandchild on the way.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents Dewey T. and Alma S. Driver, a brother James R. Driver, and a sister Nadene Driver.
His services will be Friday, March 27, 2009 at 1:00pm at Ellers Mortuary Main St. Chapel 725 S. Main St. with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time on Friday, March 27, 2009.
Charles William Chuck Kennedy

Charles William Chuck Kennedy, 41, of Kokomo, died at 3:30 AM, Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1967 in Kokomo, the son of Roger Kennedy and Joyce (McClory). On February 24, 1995 in Kokomo, he married Debbie L. (Lasley) who survives. He was employed with General Motors in Marion for 9½ years before retiring. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during Desert Shield. He was a member of UAW Local #977, also was an avid woodworker, fisherman, hunter, and gardener. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his sons and their friends.
Survivors include his wife Debbie L. Kennedy of Kokomo; three sons, Jeremy Kennedy, Steven Johnston, and Ronald Johnston all of Kokomo; his father and stepmother Roger and Brenda Kennedy of Kokomo; his mother and step-father Joyce and Jim Harris of Macy, IN; two brothers, Randy (Amii) Kennedy of Greentown, Matt Kennedy of Kokomo,one step-brother Travis VanWinkle of Fairland; two sisters Tammy Kennedy of Macy, IN, Jessica Kristof of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, three step-sisters, Dawn (David) Thomas of Greentown, Tiffany Banner of Kokomo, Audria (Mark) Case of Brownsburg; also several nieces, nephews, one great nephew, and his sidekick Bear.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Margaret McClory and Chuck and Betty Kennedy.

Lois A. Flatford
ALEXANDRIA – Lois A. Flatford, 73, Alexandria, died Aug. 7, 2008 at her residence.
She was born Sept. 2, 1934 in Leona Mines, Va., the daughter of Donald and Carrie (Benfield) Hughes.
She had been employed at the former Amick’s Truck Stop and the Hi-Way Cafe in Alexandria for 15 years, retiring in 1998.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Chapel in Alexandria.
Survivors include five sons, Frank Clark, Fowlerton, Dan Clark, Jeffery Clark, Kenneth Clark and Joe Clark, all of Alexandria; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two brothers, Vernon Hughes, Meeker, Colo. and Paul Hughes, Anderson; five sisters, Hannah Sutton, Dayton, Ohio, Mary Cook, Alexandria, Eileen Hughes, Knoxville, Tenn., Avis Allen and Louise Short, Pennington Gap, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Carrie Hughes; three brothers, Donald B. Hughes Jr., Ellis Hughes and Carl Hughes; a great-grandson; a nephew; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at the Noffze Funeral Home in Alexandria, with Pastor Harrison Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Chapel Building Fund through the funeral home.
White Johnson
White Johnson, 77, Tipton, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
Born July 27, 1931 in Gibson Station, Va., he was the son of William Henry and Dora (Pace) Johnson.
He was the owner of Hoosier Pete Filling Station in Tipton for more than 10 years. He then worked at Burco Molding Company in Noblesville where he retired as a shift supervisor.He also was a farmer. He was a member of Mid-America Threshers Association and Hoosier Heartlanders Camping Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and telling stories that made people laugh.
He was a kind, gentle, loving man and will be greatly missed by his family, which includes his wife, Naomi Pearl (Schildmeier) Johnson; his sons, Dean Weaver and Gary and wife Michelle Johnson, all of Tipton; his daughters, Lucille and husband Benny Brooks, Barbara and husband Tommy Mitchell and Gwen and husband Rick Brooks, all of Harrogate, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Rachel Barnard, Billy, Randy and Kay Brooks, Andrea and Kevin Payn, Robert and Kristine Weaver, Eroica, Nikita, Alexandra and Chandler Johnson; five great-grandchildren; his sisters, Gladys Daniels of Tazwell, Tenn. and Christine Hawk of Springfield, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mac Johnson, and a sister, Evelyn Lackey.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hartley Funeral Homes Arcadia Chapel. The Rev. Joe Olson will officiate.Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Wilson C. Eden
FRANKTON – Wilson C. Eden, 65, Frankton, died Thursday at his home.

Barry Kevin Wilkinson
OAKFORD – Barry Kevin Wilkinson, 41, Oakford, died at 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 in Clinton County, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born Sept. 28, 1966 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Duane Charles Wilkinson and Barbara (Stamper), who survives.
He was a graduate of Tri High School in Lewisville. On June 29, 1986 in Cicero, he married Lori Anne Trout. She also survives.
He was employed with Allied Waste of Lafayette for more than 20 years, which services Republic, Rumpke, Wabash Valley and Key Waste of Culver.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved the outdoors and the wind of the motorcycle; was an avid mechanic with newfound, lifelong, long-life friend Scott Williamson. He was a push truck driver for sprint cars at the Kokomo Speedway on Sunday nights,. He was also a volunteer fireman on the Wildkat Township Volunteer Fire Department in Windfall for more than 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Anne Wilkinson of Oakford; one son, Kevin Andrew Wilkinson and companion Rachel Ullman of Frankfort; two daughters, Marissa Danielle Wilkinson and companion Noah Langley of Kokomo and Jillianne Marie Wilkinson of Oakford; his mother, Barbara Mayes of Anderson; one brother, Warren and wife Deena Wilkinson of Lewisville; two sisters, Monica and husband Brian Windle of Anderson, Michelle and husband Jason Simpson of North Carolina; one grandchild, Atticus Ullman of Frankfort; three godchildren, Aden Gunning, 3, of Kokomo, Ohanzee Green, 2, of Oakford, and Athalia Garland, 1, of Oakford, along with many adopted children along the way; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. The Rev. Andrew D. Green will officiate. Cremation will follow.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
