VIVA FAYETTE SCHOTT, 91, died Friday at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. Born in Wells County, she was a meat cutter at Schott's Meat Market from 1948 to 1958, a clerk for three years at P.N. Hirsch Co. and retired in 1973 as a clerk at G.C. Murphy's after 10 years. She was past treasurer of Capri II Friends. Her husband, Terrell "Bud" W., died in 1981. Surviving are a brother, J.C. Chalfant of North Hollywood, Calif.; five grandchildren, Amanda Brown, Margaret McAfee, Zachary Schott, Victor Schott and John Douglas Schott, all of Bluffton; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, John Terry.
