MARDELLA WEBB, 90, died Wednesday at Rolling Meadows Health Center, LaFontaine. Born in Huntington, she was a retired housekeeper.
Her husband, Robert Marion, died in 1960. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann Hunsucker of Urbana and Sharon Kay Pickett of Marion; a brother, Jean Musselman of Huntington; four grandchildren, Sherri Pickett and Kevin Pickett, both of Marion, Jennifer Hunsucker of Urbana and Jason Hunsucker of Somerset; and two great-grandchildren.

VIOLET R. SHIELDS, 81, died Wednesday at home. She retired as a licensed practical nurse at LaGrange County Hospital.
Her husband, Clell H., died in 1988. Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Peterson of LaGrange and Marleta Parker of Sun City, Calif.; two sisters, Lois Oliver and Betty Clock, both of Gaston; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

IRENE MAE KING BAILEY, 94, died Tuesday at Betz Nursing Home, Auburn. Born in DeKalb County, she was a homemaker and school teacher at Kelly School and Ashley School.
Her husband, Franklin Monroe, died in 1993. Surviving is a son, Jerry of Waterloo; three stepsons, Ray Bailey of Fresno, Calif., James Bailey of Fort Wayne and Carl Bailey of Bakersfield, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Pearl Carper Baumgartner of Waterloo; three grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren; and many step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Alfred Bailey.
