Eicher of Quincy, Mich., Catherine E. Schwartz and Hannah E. Schwartz, both of Linesville, and Elizabeth E. Schwartz, Susanna E. Schwartz and Clara E. Schwartz, all of Spencerville; and a grandchild. RUBY L. LANDFERT, 84, of Farragut, Tenn., formerly of Huntington, died Wednesday at NHC Assisted Living Center, Farragut. Born in Huntington County, she worked as a sales clerk at J.C. Penney Co. in Huntington for five years and was past matron of Order of Eastern Star Floral Chapter 75. Her husband, Harold, died in 1985. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lenwell of Pierceton and Cynthia Thompson of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Willard Garretson and Paul Garretson, both of Huntington; two sisters, Patty Herrick of Roanoke and Marjorie Cole of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jack Weller. Services at 10 a.m. Monday at Central Christian Church, Huntington, with calling one hour before services. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He held local, district and national offices of Gideon's International and of the Nazarene Churches. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann; a son, Wayne E. of Westchester, Ohio; a daughter, Ann M. Schwob of Bourbonnais; a brother, Edwin O. of Shirley; a sister, Wilma Largent of Angola; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
