Adeline E. Bowles, 89, 11210 Forest Drive, Plymouth, passed away Friday November 2, 2001 at 10:08 PM at Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth.
She was born on March 29, 1912 in LaPorte, Indiana to Henry and Hattie Tanger Spier.
Adeline moved to Plymouth in 1933 from LaPorte, Indiana . Adeline and Thomas Bowles were married
November 26, 1934 in Plymouth Indiana, and Tom died on December 30, 1988. Adeline worked for Peoples Drug Store for 18 years and help her husband run the Rialto Theater for 23 years.
She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Donaldson, IN.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly and Earl Buchert of Plymouth, IN, Granddaughter, Susan and Keith Wickens of Plymouth, IN, Granddaughter, Lynn and Neil Bemenderfer of Indianapolis, IN, Granddaughter, Anne and Kent Janes of Springfield, IL, granddaughter, Gina Serf of Indianapolis, IN, Grandson, Brad and Patty Serf of Indianapolis, IN, and 12 great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her brother Henry Spier Jr. and her son-in-law Frank Serf.
Visitation will be held Monday November 5, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Donaldson. Services will be held Monday November 5, 2001 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Donaldson, Indiana with Rev Brian Deckinger officiating. Burial will be at New Oak Hill cemetery in Plymouth, In.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Donaldson .

Dale Boggs, 84, 8230 Lincoln Hwy, Plymouth, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at 3:25 PM at St. Joseph RMC Plymouth Campus in Plymouth after a brief illness.
He was born on August 23, 1918 in Plymouth, Indiana, to Russell and Myrtle Burden Boggs. He served in The United States Army during World War Two.
Dale first married
Audrey Fischer. They were married
for 32 years.
He then married
Barbara Massey August 25, 1979 in Plymouth, Indiana. She survives.
Dale worked as a milk hauler as well as driving for Midwest Emery Trucking Company. He retired from the DelMonte Corporation as a fleet supervisor.
He was a member of Plymouth Kilwinning Lodge # 149, 40 & 8, Drum and Bugle Corp, Plymouth VFW Post 1162, and The American Legion of Bourbon, Indiana.
He is survived by his Wife, Barbara Boggs of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughters, Connie and Gale Laudeman of Bremen, Indiana, Barb and David Barts of Plymouth, Indiana, Nancy Berry of San
Francisco, California, Jo and Michael Fisher of Plymouth Indiana, and his son, Stephen Boggs of New Carlisle, Indiana. Also surviving are 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Friday August 30, 2002 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana. Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 10:30 AM at Van Gilder Funeral Home in Plymouth, Indiana with Rev. Maurice Grindle officiating. Burial will be at New Oak Hill cemetery in Plymouth, Indiana.

Terry Lee Anderson, 58, of 111 R N. Michigan St, Plymouth, passed away Monday July 15, 2002 at 9:35 AM at his residence in Plymouth, Indiana.
He was born on July 9, 1944 in Warsaw, Indiana as Terry Lee Long. At the age of 9, Terry came to live with Gunnard and Dorothy Shaefer Anderson as a foster child. He was later adopted by the Andersons. He served in the United States Navy. Terry previously worked at the Ramada Inn in Plymouth in the maintenance department.
He is survived by his son, Ean Anderson and his daughter Meora Anderson both of Warsaw, Indiana. Also surviving are his adoptive sister, Elaine and Fred Koppenhoffer of Grovertown, Indiana, adoptive brothers, Karl and Bobbie Anderson, Lloyd and Theresa Anderson all of Plymouth, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents.
There will be no visitation. There will be a Graveside services Friday July 19, 2002 at the Immanuel Lutheran cemetery with Fr. John Schramm officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran cemetery in Donaldson, Indiana.

Herman R. Shoemaker, 77, 12224 Plymouth/Goshen Trail, Plymouth, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at 2:45 PM at the St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, Indiana after a brief illness.
He was born on March 15, 1925 in Denver to LaFayette and Rebecca (Eikenberry) Shoemaker.
On May 7, 1947, Herman and JoAnn Ambler were married
in Macy, Indiana. JoAnn passed away on September 13, 1989. In 1990, Herman and Pauline Ottinger were married
. She survives.
Herman was employed by Scot Lad Foods, working in Chicago and in Lansing, Illinois. In 1982 the Shoemakers moved to Marshall County.
He was a 50 year member of the Masons in Mexico, Indiana and attended the Plymouth Wesleyan Church. Herman also enjoyed camping for many years along with square dancing.
He is survived by Spouse, Pauline Shoemaker of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughters, Michal (Ralph) O'Day of Jacksonville, Florida and Sarah (Rich) Kniper of Woodridge, Illinois, Sons, Arick(Christine) Shoemaker of Bainsdale, Victoria, Australia, Stephen (Anna) Shoemaker of Valrico, Florida, and Joseph Shoemaker of Crown Point, Indiana. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren as well as a Sister, Rosida(Richard) Reed of Galveston, Indiana.
Services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 11:00 AM at The Plymouth Wesleyan Church in Plymouth, Indiana with Rev. Lyle Breeding officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn cemetery in Mexico, Indiana immediately following the service.
Friends may call Friday, July 5, 2002 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street in Plymouth, Indiana, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to service time at the church.

John Daniel Sobinski, 69, 3851 North River Drive, West Lafayette, formerly of Knox, passed away Friday January 4, 2002 at 5:28 PM at Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette.
He was born on January 20, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Samuel and Eva Klymus Sobinski. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. John has lived in the area since 1972.
John and Helen Singleton were married
in November of 1972. Helen preceded John in death on July 8, 1989.
He was a member of Knox VFW post 748 and American Legion post 331 .
He is survived by his sister, Irene Thornburg of Plymouth, Indiana, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by His Wife, Maria Soria of Plymouth, Indiana, daughter, Maria Ida Soria of California, Daughter, San Juanita Hisey of Plymouth, Indiana, Son, Rolando Soria of South Bend, Indiana, Son, Antonio and Ruth Ann Soria of Plymouth, Indiana, Son, Noel and Sonja Soria of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughter, Thalia Lisa and Elbert Roberts of Plymouth, Indiana. Also surving are 15 grandchildren: Tayna Nicole, Melissa Marie, Jamie Kay, Ashley DeAnne, Mathew Ryan, Antonio Joshua, Arian Tennille, Ashton Thomas, Andreya Rochelle, Elisa Bianca, Rosa Maria, Courtney Leane, Brandon Christopher, Brandy Dawn and Bryant Lane. Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren, one sister and seven brothers. Tony was preceded in death by one brother.
