Edith M. Glass
Edith M. Glass, age 96, of Mountain Home, Ark., passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at
her home in Arkansas.
Edith was born on Aug. 14, 1910 in Winamac to Arthur and Edna (Pfost) Cox. She married
the
late Dale Glass on June 9, 1934 in Plymouth. Together they raised their three children.
Edith had been a resident of Mountain Home since April of 1990, moving there from Orland Hills,
Ill.
Edith is survived by her sons: Ronald N. Glass of Mountain Home, Ark. and William D. and
Rosemary Glass, of Elkhart; her daughter, Sandra and Bill Nical, of Crown Point; her brothers:
Leonard L. Cox and Arthur Cox Jr.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Glass, five
brothers, and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. in New Oak Hill cemetery
Plymouth with the Rev. Dr. E. Dean Fager officiating. VAN GILDER FUNERAL HOME is
handling the arrangements.
A time of visiting and sharing memories of Edith with her family will be on Wednesday, May 30,
2007, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street,
Plymouth, IN 46563.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501
Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
William A., Jr. Graham
William A. "Billy" Graham Jr., 49, formerly of Walkerton, died on Thursday, May 24 in Kentucky.
He is survived by his parents: William Graham Sr. and Donna (Rick) Parks; sons: William A.
Graham III of LaPorte and Zachary Graham of Walkerton; daughters: Tearny (Gene) Lamphier
of Walkerton and Tamara Graham of Walkerton; brothers: Brian (Laura) Graham of Walkerton,
Albert (Auti) Graham of North Liberty, David (Dawn) Graham of North Liberty and Richard
(Carmen) Graham; sisters: Nora (Wayne) Ashton of North Carolina and Diane of Kentucky; and
six grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday, May 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, Walkerton.
Memorials may be given to the family.
Rev. Ross Dean Cook
NAPPANEE - Rev. Ross Dean Cook, 75, of Nappanee, died at 6:26 p.m. on Friday, May 25 at
Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; daughters: Rita (Mark) Pittman of Tomah, Wis. And Diane
Stewert of Cicero; son, Gary (Annie) Cook of Syracuse; stepdaughters: Jill (Mike) Boleman of
Douglasville, Ga. And Joan (Dan) Krieg of Fort Wayne; stepsons: Mike (Jennifer) Anglin and
Tom (Kathy) Anglin, both of Nappanee; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; former wife,
Charlotte Morrill of Syracuse; sisters: Ruth Hunt of Amboy and Doris (Richard) Kuntz of Oregon
City, Ore.; and brother, Dale Cook of Peru.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 29 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral
Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to services Wednesday. Funeral services are Wednesday,
May 30 at 11 a.m. at Nappanee United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at the Bremen cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Sunshine Unit at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
Lois "Jean" Gundrum
FULTON - Lois "Jean" Gundrum, 62, of Fulton, died at 4:45 a.m. on Friday, May 25 at home.
She is survived by daughter, Deborah S. Carpenter of Jackson, Mich.; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren;
stepsons: Richard (Karyn) Gundrum of Logansport and Mark (Brenda) Gundrum
of Fulton; two step grandchildren; sisters: Elnora (Jack) Sayger, Clymenia (Willis) Halterman,
Judy (Chuck) Kuhn and Mona (Philip) Snook, all of Rochester; and brothers: Billy (Donna) Tyler,
Paul (Sandy) Tyler and Jim Tyler and Betty, all of Rochester.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Wednesday in the
Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester.
Funeral services are Wednesday, May 30 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be at Bruce Lake cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice of Fulton County.
James Douglas Hekel
NEWPORT, Tenn. - James Douglas Hekel, 46 of Newport, Tenn., passed away Friday, May 25,
2007 at his home.
He was managing editor of the Newport Plain Talk, a member of Northport Baptist Church and a
veteran having served in the United States Army. He was also a former managing editor at the
Pilot News.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Hekel of Newport; children: Hilary Hekel of Ft. Drum, N.Y.,
Jimmie Hekel, Eli Hekel, both of North Little Rock, Ark. And Mandy Smith of Salisbury, N.C., and
parents, Glen and Maxine McVey Hekel of Shellsburg, Iowa. James will also be sadly missed by
his sister, Marlene (Robin) Lucas of Minn.; brothers: Gary (Jean) Hekel of Shellsburg, Iowa and
Jeffrey (Tracy) Hekel of Iowa; also a host of special friends.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Rosalea McVey and Lester and
Gladys Hekel.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 at Northport Baptist Church with Brother
Wade Holbrook officiating.
Burial will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 30 in Union cemetery. The family will receive friends
from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Northport Baptist Church prior to the funeral.
Lillie Mae Miller
KNOX - Lillie Mae Miller, 74, of Knox, died on Friday, May 25 in Knox.
She is survived by her husband, Duepree Miller of Knox; daughters: Wilma (Roy) Hensley of
Knox, Brenda (Jerry) Chiles of Knox and Rhonda (Fred) Anderson of Xenia, Ohio; sons: Donald
(Jane) Miller of Grovertown, William (Danae) Miller of Knox, Daniel Miller of Knox and Wendell
Miller of Knox; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Goldie (Adam) Wagers
and Lorene Miller, both of Knox.
Visitation was after 4 p.m. on Monday, May 28 at the Braman Funeral Home, Knox. Funeral
services are Tuesday, May 29 at 11 a.m. at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be at Crown Hill cemetery, Knox.
Marcia L. Orlea-Susan
PLYMOUTH - Marcia L. Orlea-Susan, 48, of Plymouth, died on Friday, May 25 at home.
She is survived by son, Timothy Susan of Plymouth; stepdaughter, Brenda Hupp of South Bend;
stepson, James L. Susan of South Bend; sister, Janet Lonie of Plymouth; and brother, Malcom
S. Orlea of Plymouth.
Family services will be held at a later date.

Patrick Alan Bradley
Patrick (Pat) Alan Bradley, a resident of Columbia, Ala., died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at his
residence. He was 54.
Memorial services for Mr. Bradley will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 at Cloverdale Baptist
Church with Rev. Dennis Singletary officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until
service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 2855
Ross Clark Circle, Suite 110, Dothan, AL 36301.
Mr. Bradley was born March 10, 1953 in Plymouth to Conrad and Wilda Bradley. He has been
living in Houston County for the past four years having moved from Martin/St. Lucie County, Fla.
Mr. Bradley was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church where he enjoyed the glorious gift of
the promise of eternal life. He was also an avid fisherman and collector of antique model cars.
He was an electrician for 35 years, a trade he learned from his father. Mr. Bradley will be missed
by all that knew him. His wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends will remember him for
the love he showed not only to them but also to 11 motherless puppies, which he adopted and
cared for and found a home for, all except the two he kept and loved.
His mother, Wilda Hibnar Cruse, precedes Mr. Bradley in death.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Colyard Bradley of Columbia, Ala.; two daughters: Amanda
Dabbous of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Melanie Bradley of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandchildren: Mahdi and
Rayna Dabbous of Brooklyn, N.Y.; father, Conrad Bradley of Palm City, Fla.; three sisters:
Rebecca Bradley Lovern of Huntsville, Ala., Brenda Sherer of Milford and Kathy Guy of South
Bend; and brother, Michael Bradley of Plymouth.
George R. Roush
WALKERTON - George R. Roush, 73, of Walkerton, died Saturday, May 26 in Walkerton.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian; daughters: Linda Roush of LaPorte and Martha Roush of
Bremen; son, David Roush of Walkerton; stepsons: Harold Button of Walkerton and Mark Varga
of Omaha, Neb.; brothers: Jerry Roush and Jake Roush, both of Pomeroy, Ohio and Robert
Roush of West Virginia.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. EDT at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake
Chapel. Funeral services are Tuesday, May 29 at 6 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Terry L. Seeders
PLYMOUTH — Terry L. Seeders, 119 Franklin St., Plymouth, died of a sudden illness in Fort
Wayne’s Parkview Hospital at 11:54 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2007.
He was only 47-years-old.
His love of life and people will live on. Terry is an organ donor and his gift will save many lives.
Born on Nov. 22, 1960, in Cumberland, Md., Terry was the son of Lee and Sarah Kiefer
Seeders. He graduated from Cumberland High School in 1978.
He served 18 years in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.
On Oct. 31, 1980, in Germany, he and his wife, Linda Rininger, were married
.
After his honorable discharge from the service, Terry worked for Standard Motors as a Process
Engineer for 15 years. In Plymouth, he worked part time for seven years at Pathfinders as a
residential care giver.
A person devoted to his job, he always liked to be busy. When he had time, he enjoyed camping
and liked to fish.
In addition to his wife, Linda, Terry is survived by his mother and three sons: Jack Seeders, Cory
Seeders and Mark Seeders, all of Plymouth.
A grandson, Dylan Seeders, Mishawaka, and three brothers survive as well. They are: Jim
Seeders of Maryland, Rick (Pat) Seeders of Tennessee and Jon (Chris) Seeders of Maryland.
Two brothers-in-law, Gene Rininger and Todd Rininger, a sister-in-law, Susan Rininger and a
brother-and-sister-in-law, Lyle (Glenda) Rininger, all of Plymouth, also survive.
Terry was preceded in death by his father.
Friends are invited to celebrate Terry’s life with his family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31,
2007, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Following visitation at 7 p.m., funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Ron Humphrey, pastor of
the United Pentecostal House of Prayer, will be held.
Memorial gifts in Terry’s memory may be made to Pathfinders or the Marshall Starke Development Center.
