John M. "Yohaun" Ingle, 53, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 10/18/2010 at 9:19 am at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born on March 9, 1957 in Elkhart, Indiana.
John was born to Wayne M. and Dorothy (Hogan) Ingle. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, working as a draftsman for the Kosciusko County Highway Department for the last 33 years.
He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1976. He married
Tammie Hoffer Tusing on July 1, 1999 in Warsaw, Indiana.
He was known for his art of drawing and he loved going to auctions and motorcycles, especially Harleys.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastor Greg Harden officiating. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Friday, October 22, 2010. Burial will be at Leesburg cemetery, Leesburg, Indiana.

Martha D. Sweeney, 93, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 10/20/2010 at 10:12 AM at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born on February 22, 1917 in Leesburg Township, Ohio.
She is survived by a son, John Wayne (Wendy) Sweeney, New Waverly, Indiana; daughter: Sonja (Jerry) Byrd, Warsaw, Indiana, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher and Jerry Byrd will officiate.

Donald Eugene Sloan, 53, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 10/25/2010 at 5:40 am at Warsaw Meadows Healthcare Center, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on January 3, 1957 in Warsaw, Indiana.
A lifetime resident of the Warsaw and Pierceton areas, Donald was the son of William and Betty (Bays) Adams and adopted son of Hazel and Dolly (Allen) Sloan.
He served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1987. He worked in well drilling for Jim Ousley Drilling Co. and also in logging for Bobby Allen Logging Co. Donald was a member of American Legion Post #258, Pierceton, Indiana and he loved NASCAR and sports.
Donald is survived by 4 Children; Dustin Sloan, Etna Green
Madison King, Kayley Sloan and Nicholas Sloan, all of Pierceton.

Birdie was born to Thomas Mitchell and Lemma (Baldridge) Dotson.
She was married
in Paintsville, Kentucky on October 27, 1942 to Leonard Harmon (he preceded 2-21-72).
Birdie was a resident of Kosciusko County since 1942.
She retired from Korth Furniture Warsaw, Indiana.
She was a member of the United Baptist Church Floyd County, Kentucky

George W. Shaffer
George W. Shaffer, 99, of 206 Fifth Street Winona Lake, Indiana, died on 10/26/2010 at 7:20 PM at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born on February 27, 1911 in Erie, Pennsylvania .
George was born to Charles E. and Orel Florence (Brown) Shaffer.
He graduated from Pierceton High School in 1929. He also Attended The University of Cincinnati.
On November 1, 1933 he married
Dortha Ruth Phillips who died June 28, 2001.
He lived most of his life in Warsaw, working 37 years for Endicott Church Furniture Co.
He was in Boy Scouts for 30 years being Scoutmaster of Troop 36 for 17 years and received the Silver Beaver Award. He taught Sunday school for 17 years at Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw. At ORA Chapel in Melbourne Beach, Florida he was a Chorister and Choir Director for 12 years and was a member of the Kentucky Colonels for 10 years.
Surviving are four children, Richard (and spouse Marcia) Shaffer of Iowa City, Iowa, Sue Ann Gunter of Winona Lake, Indiana, Barbara (and spouse Lavon) Harman of Warsaw, Indiana and Carolyn (and spouse Jack) Clark of Syracuse, Indiana
He had 14 grandchildren, 45 great grand children and 14 great great grand children.
His wife, 1 great great grand daughter, 3 sisters and 3 brothers precede him in death.
Reverend Andy Martin and Fr. Matthew Gunter will officiate the services.

Bobby G. Castle, 76, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 10/27/2010 at 8:45 PM at Kosciusko Community Hospital. He was born on August 22, 1934 in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Bobby was born to Frank Bailey and Dolly Virginia (Howard) Castle.
He has been in Kosciusko County since 1955.
On December 23, 1954 in Salyersville, Kentucky he married
Wilma Jean Collinsworth who survives.
Bobby retired in 1990 from Union Tool Corp.(Warsaw) as a Sprayer.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Jean Castle of Warsaw. 3 sons, Frank (and spouse Donna) Castle of Warsaw; Gary (and spouse Diane) Castle of North Point, Florida and Robby Castle of Warsaw. 3 daughters, Patricia (and spouse Robert) Espinoza of Warsaw; Sandy Castle of Warsaw and Benita (and spouse Richard) Fernandes of Warsaw. 2 brothers, Tom (and spouse Jeanette) Castle and Frank (and spouse Karen) Castle both of Kenton, Ohio. 2 sisters, Beatrice Berrier of Kenton, Ohio and Arlene Axel Hollen of Marengo, Ohio. 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Burial will be at a later date.

Scott Dale Stapleton

Scott Dale Stapleton, 39, of Norfolk, VA, died on 10/27/2010 at 11:33 am at Norfolk, VA. He was born on June 12, 1971 in Warsaw, Indiana.
He was born to Joann Stapleton.
Scott is a 1991 Warsaw Community High School graduate.
He has faithfully served his Country since entering the United Sates Navy in 1991 and was stationed aboard the USS Wasp (LHD-1 Amphibious Assault Ship) where his Naval Rating was an E-6, Machinist Mate First Class. His duties included serving as Ship’s Technical Publication Custodian, Engineering Trouble Call Manager, Throttleman-Engine Room, Repair Locker Member-Ship’s Emergency Services, Berthing Petty Officer, and Mentor for Junior Seaman
Scott is survived by his mother Joann Stapleton of Warsaw, IN; his sister Natasha Stapleton of Warsaw, IN; a nephew Brandon Scott Ousley of Warsaw, IN. In addition, he is survived by his uncle Ed (and spouse Maria) Stapleton of Silver Lake, IN and Phil (and spouse Nina) Stapleton of South Whitley, IN. His cousins include Whitney and Ashley Stapleton of Warsaw, IN; Melanie Turner of Warsaw, IN, Kaidence and Haley Carey of Warsaw, IN; Kathy Rodgers of South Whitley, IN and Jamesyn Rodgers of South Whitley, IN. He was preceded by his grandmother Ethel Stapleton on May 16, 1989 and grandfather Jo Edd Stapleton on April 17, 1998.
Pastor Ralph Dotson will officiate the funeral services.
Full Military Graveside Rites will be provided by the United States Navy.
Services will be held at Full gospel Tabernacle Church 204 N. Main St. Claypool, IN on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 10;00 am. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm AT THE FUNERAL CHAPEL on Friday, November 5, 2010. Burial will be at Graceland cemetery - Claypool, IN.

Horst H. Waschkies
Horst H. Waschkies, 88, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 10/29/2010 at 4:15 am at his residence. He was born on July 5, 1922 in Heidekrug, Germany.
Horst was born to George and Anna (Wosca) Waschkies. He lived in the United States since 1950 and he was a Warsaw resident for over 30 years.
Horst was a toolmaker for South Bend Lathe Corporation for 34 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Warsaw, Indiana. He was a member of Deutche American National Kongress (D.A.N.K.) and the YMCA.
He is survived by his wife, Hildegard (Kleesattel) Waschkies of Warsaw, Indiana. He is also survived by his children: John Waschkies of Atlanta, Georgia; Karen Ann Higgins of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; and, Debra Allen of Fort Wayne, Indiana. In addition, his grandchildren: Zoe & Nick Allen of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; Quinn Allen of Leesburg, Indiana; and Jarrad Allen of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one son: George Waschkies; four sisters; and six brothers.
Chaplain Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Home Health Care and Hospice will officiate the service.
