Rex Carey Jr. on August 19, 1953 in Roselawn, Indiana. She worked at Dalite Screen, Warsaw as an Assembler for 26 years. and was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.

Ruby's parents were Jay and Mollie (Hall) Shepherd. She married
Ollie J. Besson.
Ruby was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She retired from Warsaw Plating as a Forklift Opertor.

Gertrude L. "Trudi" Weber
Gertrude L. "Trudi" Weber, 93, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 8/18/2010 at 1:25 am at Miller's Merry Manor - Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on August 1, 1917 in Gottingen, Germany.
Trudi was born to Leukefeld and Else (Kraft) Wilhelm. On march 30, 1956 she was united in marriage to Leon Weber.
Leon preceded Trudi in 1971.
Trudi was employed as an accountant for Food Machinery Company of Hoopeston, Illinois. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Trudi is survived by her loving family including her daughter Janet Deaton of Claypool, Indiana; her son
Randy Weber of Ambia, Indiana;
two grandchildren, including, Karl Weber of Ambia, Indiana
and Angela Jungbauer of Indianapolis, Indiana. Ind addition, she was
preceded by two brothers and two sisters.
Reverend James Batchelor will officiate the services.
Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Burial will be at Floral Hills cemetery, Hoopeston, Illinois.

Randy Miller, 55, of Claypool, Indiana, died on 8/20/2010 at 9:15 pm at Miller's Merry Manor - Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on August 18, 1955 in Warsaw, Indiana.
Randy's parent Luther and Martha (Marsillett) Miller. He was a Lifetime of Kosciusko County.He married
Connie Hawn on July 20, 1979 in Yellow Creek, Indiana. He worked for Zimmer Inc as a Quality Inspector. Randy was member of the Sportsman Farmer Conservation Club, Silverlake, IN. He loved to Coon hunting, fishing and guns.

Dennis L. Wertenberger, 64, of Pierceton, Indiana, died on 8/23/2010 at 3:16 am at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on November 3, 1945 in Warsaw, Indiana.
Dennis was the son of Ralph and Waneta (David) Wertenberger Jr. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County and worked as a self employed Farrier for 25 years. He also worked for Midwest Roll Forming Company, Pierceton and Symmetry Medical Corp., Warsaw.
He married
Paula M. Perkins McClain on May 27, 2004 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Dennis was a member of American Legion Post #253, Pierceton and Eagles Lodge, Columbia City.

Willodean K. "Billie" Shoemaker Cochern
Willodean K. "Billie" Shoemaker Cochern, 100, of Claypool, Indiana, died on 8/25/2010 at 1:46 PM at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on February 19, 1910 in Silver Lake, Indiana.
Willodean was born to Francis and Anna Glenn (Kemper) Rager. On December 24th, 1930, she married
Robert Shoemaker who died on March 15th, 1936. She then married
Bert Cochern Sr. on May 25th, 1946 who died on April 25th, 1989.
Billie lived in Claypool for 80 years, where she taught school for 38 of those years. Besides family, she left behind over a thousand students that were very important to her.
She had her 100th year birthday party at Miller's nursing home in Februiary, over 116 of her family and friends attended to let her know how much she had touched their lives. Many of those there, had her as a teacher and the family would like all the students that she had over the years to know what you have meant to her. Til the very end of her life, one of her favorite topics was her classrooms and students. She had a special and happy career and you were all a part of it.
Surviving are a daughter, Alinda Ann Skea, Warsaw
son, Jon Shoemaker, Larwill
9 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 19 Great-Great Grandchildren and 2 nieces. She was known as "Gammie" to us.
She was preceded in death by a son, grandson and great grandson.
Services will be held at Graceland cemetery, Claypool, Indiana on Monday, August 30th, 2010 at 4:00 pm with Pastor Ralph Dotson officiating.. Burial will be at Graceland cemetery, Claypool, Indiana.

Reverend Monsignor James J. Wolf
Reverend Monsignor James J. Wolf, 70, of Sacred Heart Parish Warsaw, Indiana, died on 8/31/2010 at IU Simon Cancer Center Indianapolis, IN. He was born on January 21, 1940 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
James was born to Walter J. and Esther B. (Busch) Wolf.
He was educated at St. Jude Grade School and Central Catholic High School of Fort Wayne, IN. James graduated from St. Joseph College of Rensselaer, IN and Resurrection College of Kitchener of Ontario, Canada and Mount Saint Mary Seminary of Cincinnati, OH.
On May 31, 1969 he was ordained into the Priesthood by Bishop Leo A. Pursley at St. Jude Church in Fort Wayne, IN.
He faithfully served the Church in the following assignments for over 40 years: on July 1, 1969, he was appointed Assistant to St. Matthew Cathedral of South Bend, IN; on July 2, 1973, he was appointed Assistant to St. Mary Church of Decatur, IN; on July 5, 1977, he was appointed Associate to St. Anthony Church of South Bend, IN; on September 12, 1977, he was appointed Chaplain of St. Joseph High School of South Bend, IN; on July 7, 1980, he was appointed Pastor of St. John the Baptist Church of Fort Wayne, IN; on May 13, 1982, he was appointed Consultor to the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend; on May 23, 1982, he was reappointed to the Committee for Retired Clergy; on April 15, 1986, he was appointed Co-Vicar General, Co-Chancellor for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and appointed Co-Rector of the Cathedral of Fort Wayne, IN; on December 8, 1988, he was reappointed to Board of Consultors for a term of five years; on May 4, 1994, he was reappointed to Board of Consultors for a term of five years; on July 15, 1995, he was appointed by The Holy See as Chaplain for His Holiness (Monsignor); on September 5, 2000 he was appointed Pastor, Sacred Heart Church, Warsaw, IN; January 1, 2001, he was reappointed to Board of Consultors; On September 1, 2003, he was appointed Episcopal Vicar for Region C for three year term.
He is survived by two sisters Mary and spouse Michael Barnes of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Carolyn Grogg of Oxnard, California and a sister-in-law Sue Wolf of Fort Wayne, IN. In addition he has 16 nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces and nephews and 1 great-great-niece. He was preceded by his sister Jeanette Gayda; brothers Thomas Wolf and Allen Wolf and his parents Walter and Esther Wolf.
Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades will celebrate the Funeral Mass and Bishop John M. D'Arcy will deliver the message.
Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, IN. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation 1 hour prior. Calling hours will be 2:00 to 5:00 PM. & 6:30 to 8:00 PM with a rosary service at 4:45 PM and an evening prayer vigil service at 7:30 PM on Monday, September 6, 2010. Burial will be at Catholic cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana at 3:00 PM on Tuesday.

Richard J. Minglin, 62, of 4110 Kuder Lane,Warsaw, IN, died on 8/31/2010 at 7:58 AM at his residence. He was born on March 24, 1948 in Rochester, IN.
Richard was born to Robert and Willetta (VanLue) Minglin.
Growing up in Rochester then moving to Warsaw. He worked for Depuy as a Inspector. He attended New Vision Church in Warsaw.
He is survived by 2 sons Shawn and Aaron Minglin both of Warsaw.
A daughter Stephanie (and her spouse Bryon) Myers of Akron, IN.
