Mitchell R. Castle, 84, of Columbia City, Indiana, died on 6/17/2010 at 8:38 am at in his residence with his son Ron, by his side.. He was born on April 17, 1927 in Middlecreek, Kentucky.
Mitchell was born to Carew and Nora (Ellen) Castle. He lived in Pierceton most of his life until living in Warsaw for 10 years.
He married
Joan Keplinger on March 20, 1953 in Warsaw, she survives. He served in the U.S. Navy at the end of World War II.
Mitchell worked as a core maker for Dalton Foundries for 43 years, retiring in 1989. He was a former member of American Legion Post #258, Pierceton and also was a former member and Past President of the American Rose Society, Fort Wayne.
He had a passion for growing Roses and was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan as well as listening to the music of the Carter Family. He loved bowling and was a member of several bowling teams as well as playing guitar.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, a Son, Randy Castle and 2 Brothers, Manus Castle and Von Castle.
Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, Indiana on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Steve Mullen officiating.. Calling hours will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Burial will be at Hillcrest cemetery, Pierceton with military honors..

Larry was born to Paul and Patricia (Paseka) Popenfoose. He lived in Warsaw, Indiana his entire life. Larry was a route carrier for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette & News Sentinel and The Paper of Milford, Indiana. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by 2 daughters: Tara Prater, Warsaw, IN; Lara Popenfoose, Warsaw, IN; 1 son: Joby(spouse Carla) Popenfoose, Warsaw, IN. He is also survived by his father and stepmother: Paul & Clara Popenfoose of Leesburg, IN; 1 sister Paula Edwards of Leesburg, IN; and 1 brother Kenny (spouse Ann) Popenfoose of Warsaw, IN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Austin Popenfoose, Asia Popenfoose, Kody Popenfoose, Arissa Caudill, Ryan Caudill, Jr., Devin Caudill, Jory Prater, and Madison Prater. Larry was preceded in death by his mother and 1 brother Michael Popenfoose.

Josefina was born to Fransisco and Lydia Aguilar. She was Warsaw, IN. resident since 1977. Josefina was united in marriage to Alfonso S. Rangel in Brownsville, TX. Alfonso preceded her on April 29, 2009.

Ronald "Mick" Lee Vanderpool, 70, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 6/25/2010 at 2:02 PM at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born on December 8, 1939 in Silver Lake, Indiana.
He was born to Fred and Marie (Reffitt) Vanderpool
He graduated from Silver Lake High School, Silver Lake, IN and from International Business College. He was a US Navy veteran serving from December 1957 to April 1962.
Ronald married
Dee Tarpley on November 4, 1961 in Richmond California. The marriage was performed by Reverend J.H. Kuykendall.
Ron joined the food industry in 1966 working at Safeway Stores in Orinda, California. He managed A&P; food stores in Warsaw, Indiana and Maumee, Ohio. In 1972 he had the opportunity to move into the world of plastics where he learned plastic compounding, buying, selling and the art of extrusion. Ron was the co-founder of Paragon Medical in Pierceton, Indiana, where he holds several patents. He was instrumental in the development of the plastic case and tray portions of the business. He designed and hands-on directed the building of plastic sheet extrusion line, setting Paragon Medical apart from others in the plastics manufacturing industry. Ron retired from Paragon Medical in 1999.
Ron's greatest love was just being with God, his family and friends. He also enjoyed the outdoors and was an accomplished morel mushroom hunter, a fisherman, and a gardener. He tutored his children and grandchildren in these activities.
He also enjoyed game hunting with his friends.
Ron attended Warsaw Community Church in Warsaw.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Warsaw, The American Legion Post 253 in North Webster, Indiana, and a past member of The Lions Club of Leesburg, Indiana.
Survivors are his wife Dee Vanderpool of Warsaw, Indiana

In addition, he was employed by Lakeland Loving Care Healthcare of Milford as the Director of Maintenance. Rick was an avid shuffleboard player and a Shuffleboard League participant at The Keg in Leesburg, IN..

She attended Warsaw Missionary Church. She completed the 5k Race for the D.A.R.E. Program twice and loved horses, especially her horse "Mac" and her Grandkids.
