Francis "Frank" A. Federico Jr., 64, of Silver Lake, Indiana, died on 4/23/2010 at 2:00 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on May 5, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Frank was the Son of Francis Anthony and Carmella (Milittello) Federico Sr. and Leonard and Josephine Spigutz. He married Darlene McPeak on September 23, 1967.
He owned Hill Lake Resort and worked for Surface and Moore Plumbing and Heating, Claypool, Indiana for 25 years. Frank also worked for Silver Inn, Silver Lake,Indiana for 20 years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, the Indiana Volunteer Fireman's Association and Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department. He was named 2003 Kosciusko County Firefighter of the Year. He also was a member of the American Legion Post #49, Warsaw and Elks Club #802, Elwood, Indiana.
Frank served in the Indiana National Guard from 1963 - 1967.
He is survived by his Wife; Darlene Federico, Silver Lake, Indiana

Daughter; Lisa Federico, Silver Lake, Indiana

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 10:00 am. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery, Warsaw with military honors.

Linda Sue Sanchez

Linda Sue Sanchez, 43, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 4/24/2010 at 5:27 pm at in her residence.. She was born on August 7, 1966 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Linda was the daughter of Terry and Martha (Bender) Paxton. She moved to Warsaw from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 11 years ago.
She married Eladio Sanchez on October 25, 2003 in Silver Lake, Indiana. She worked for Owens Supermarket, Warsaw and Lowe's, Warsaw until retiring on January 29, 2010.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 10:00 am. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.

Steven E. Wilson

Steven E. Wilson, 51, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 4/24/2010 at 10:01 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on April 29, 1958 in Peru, Indiana.

His parents are Donald E. and Ruth (Sullivan) Wilson. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana.
He received The Athlete of the year Award in 1976 (Tiger Club Award).
Graduating from Warsaw High School in 1976. Steven married Teresa Ratliff on September 13, 1979 in Warsaw, Indiana. He worked for RR Donnelley & Sons for 30 years as an Assistant Pressman. He was a retired Volunteer Fireman for Leesburg, Indiana
Steven is survived by his wife Teresa Wilson of Warsaw, Indiana
his parents Donald E. and Ruth Wilson of Warsaw, Indiana
1 Son Andy (and spouse Shanda) Wilson of Warsaw, Indiana
1 daughter Sara (and spouse Hermillo) Garcia of Warsaw, Indiana.
1 sister Julie (and spouse Pete) Wehrly of Colorado.
5 grandchildren Hannah, Jacob, Abby, Antonio and Emma-Kate.
Preceded by his grandparents

Services will be held at at a later date on private at private. Burial will be at a later date.

Paul B. Lillis

Armed Forces Veteran - Navy
Paul B. Lillis, 89, of Winona lake, Indiana, died on 4/25/2010 at 12:30 pm at Grace Village Healthcare Center, Winona Lake, IN. He was born on February 17, 1921 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Paul was to Milan f. and Mary (Gumminger) Lillis. He was united in marriage to Leslie Ann Weary in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1951.

Paul was one of Leahey's Lads and the Captain of the undefeated 1941 Notre Dame football team. He was a member of the Notre Dame Monogram Club and Sorin Society. In World War II, then Lieutenant Paul Lillis served as a PT Boat captain in the South Pacific Theater. During his faithful service to his country he received the Silver Star and Purple Heart for actions in combat.

He started his career in sales and later purchased Liquefied Industrial Gasses where he became, for a time the cryogenics expert of the Midwest. After retiring to Hampstead, NC Paul became the driving force behind and founding member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. Moving to Winona Lake, IN in 2004, he became an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw, IN.

Surviving are Paul's wife of 58 years, Leslie, his children, Leslie (mark) Piazza of Warsaw, IN and Steve (Lynn) Lillis of Phoenix, AZ. along with 6 grandchildren: Megan and Melissa Piazza, and Lisa, Laura, Stacie, and Sean Lillis. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Milan F. Lillis of Buffalo, New York and his sister, Rita Marie Ernst of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Monsignor James Wolf of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate the Funeral Mass. Military honors will be rendered by the Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and the V.F.W. Post #1126 of Warsaw, Indiana at Oakwood cemetery.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Warsaw, Indiana on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana.

Reverend Albert Whitaker

Reverend Albert Whitaker, 87, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 4/25/2010 at 9:20 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on January 28, 1923 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

He fought the fight and won the ultimate battle. His vision became a reality. He went to be with his Lord and Savior. (Second Timothy 4:6)

Albert was born to James and Catherine (Miller) Whitaker. He was a Warsaw, Indiana resident since 1941. On August 16, 1943 he was united in marriage to Cynthia P. Prater in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Albert was the founding Pastor of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church and the Lighthouse Christian Academy both of Warsaw, Indiana. He served as Pastor for 29 years and retired in 1988. In addition, he was a former Pastor for Quickstep Pentecostal Church of Alger, Ohio and Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of Silver Lake, Indiana. Also, he was an Evangelist of 13 years holding numerous revival services across the Mid-West United States.

Albert is survived by his loving family including, his Wife: Cynthia P. "Pearlie" Whitaker-Warsaw, IN
3 Children-James E. (Barb) Whitaker-Warsaw, IN; Samuel J. (Jennifer) Whitaker-Claypool, IN; Arnetta Kay (Tom) Miller-Warsaw, IN;
2 Brothers- Robie (Becky) Whitaker, North Manchester, IN; Delmar (Sylvia) Whitaker, Warsaw, IN; 1 Sister- Avanell Hoska, Warsaw, IN and 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.

Pastors Eugene Haney and Don Gibson will officiate the services.

Services will be held at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 2:00 to 8:00 pm at the Church on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana.

Joe E. Shoemaker

Joe E. Shoemaker, 72, of South Whitley, Indiana, died on 4/27/2010 at 1:55 pm at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born on November 18, 1937 in Kosciusko County, Indiana.

Joe was born to Howard and Esther (Miller) Shoemaker. He formerly resided in Mentone, Indiana and is currently of the South Whitley (Sidney), Indiana. On October 15, 1960 he was united in marriage to Janet E. Slater. Joe was employed by United Telephone and later Sprint as a Regional Inventory Control Supervisor retiring in 1994. He was a graduate of Manchester College, Manchester, Indiana. Joe was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Miniature Horse Association of America and was breeder of registered Arabian horses.

Joe is survived by his wife Janet Shoemaker of South Whitley, Indiana; a daughter Bambi Bennett of Brandenburg, Kentucky; a son Howard D. (and spouse Kelly) Shoemaker, III; five grandchildren Nikole, Jessica, Jack, Claire and Grace; one brother Howard D. Shoemaker, II of Redondo Beach, California and two sisters including Sherry Ellsasser of Lubbock, Texas and Sue Kammer of Bonita Springs, Florida. He was preceded by two sons.

Pastor Doug Lemon will officiate the services.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Pierceton, Indiana on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 3:00 pm. Calling hours will be Two hours prior to the service on Friday, April 30, 2010. Burial will be private.

Ruby Robison

Ruby Robison, 86, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 4/27/2010 at 9:15 PM at her residence. She was born on February 1, 1924 in Pierceton, Indiana.

Her parents were Everett and Loma (English) Julian
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Ruby married Charles "Bud" Robison on November 2, 1940. She worked for Crownover Jewelers and Brennans Drug Store. Ruby was a member of the Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw.

She is survived by her daughter Wendy (and spouse Mike) Meck of Leesburg, Indiana.

Steven Dale Tripp

Steven Dale Tripp, 63, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 4/27/2010 at 9:26 pm at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born on January 14, 1947 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Steve was born in Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana to Dale Orson and Kathryn Veronica (Decker) Tripp. Steve made his home in Warsaw, Indiana and currently resides on Chapman Lake. Working in the insurance profession, he founded Tripp and Associates Insurance Agency, Incorporated in 1976. Through the course of his business he served on Advisory Boards for Grange Insurance Company, Motorists Mutual Insurance Group and other insurance carriers. Under his tenure, the agency achieved senior status designations with various insurance companies. In addition, Steve was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Elks Lodge #802 both of Warsaw, Indiana.

A devoted father, Steve is survived by Steven "Sean" Tripp and Christopher "Gavin" Tripp. Furthermore, survivors include a sister Charlotte Marie (Tripp) Baker and brother-in-law David R. baker of Fort Wayne, Indiana; granddaughter Sara Nicole Tripp, daughter of Sean and fiance' Pamela Kennedy.

Steve will forever be remembered for his love of aviation, excitement for car racing and his faithful devotion to his family.

The funeral mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw, Indiana will be conducted by Monsignor James Wolf.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 10:30 am. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana.
