Thomas was born to Jack L. and Virginia E. (Nail) Summe. He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County, working as a self employed landscaper.

Thomas is preceded in death by his Parents.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 10:00 am . Calling hours will be 9:00 - 10:00 am at the funeral chapel on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Burial will be private.

Robert L. Robison

Armed Forces Veteran - Army
Robert L. Robison, 81, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/9/2010 at 7:15 am at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on June 19, 1928 in Warsaw, Indiana.

Robert was born to Charles and Nellie Robison and was a lifetime resident of Warsaw. He was a self employed painter and was a member of the American Legion Post #49, Warsaw. He served in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict from 1950 - 1957.
Robert is survived by a Sister; Barbara Atchison, Oregon and numerous Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews and Great Nieces.

Burial will be at a later date.

Patricia A. Oppenheim

Patricia A. Oppenheim, 69, of Leesburg, Indiana, died on 2/11/2010 at 8:51 am at her residence.. She was born on July 19, 1940 in DuQuoin, IL..

Pat was born to Leslie T. Harrison and Dorothy M. (Stanton) Harrison. On November 29, 1969 in Syosset, NY. she was united in marriage to J. Phillip Oppenheim. Phil preceded her in death August 23, 1994.

Pat was a 1958 graduate of DuQuoin High School. Also she was a 1961 graduate of Southern Illinois University with a B.S. degree in accounting.

In 1961 shoe took a position with the Magnavox Corporation of Fort Wayne, IN. in the finance department. After marrying Phil she became active in the family business, Oppenheim's Department and Catalog Stores,
located in Wabash and Kosciusko counties. After Phil's passing Pat continued to operate the stores until her retirement.

She was involved in several philanthropic endeavors including serving a member of the Board of Directors of Kosciusko Community Hospital;
Board of Directors of the K21 Foundation and former finance Chairman for the United Way of Kosciusko County. For several years she was a substantial donor to the Indiana Nature Conservancy and was a major benefactor and member of the Presidents
Club of Hillsdale College of Hillsdale, MI.. In addition, Pat was a longtime member of the Tippecanoe Lake Country Club of Leesburg, IN..

Pat is survived by her loving family, including her father Leslie T. Harrison of Leesburg, IN., her sister Jo A. (spouse Steven E.) Satterfield of Rapidan, VA.;nieces Amy M. (Satterfield) Bryant of Alexandria, VA.; Wendy S. (spouse Chris) (Satterfield) Stewart of Indialantic, FL.;
grand niece Sarah E. Stewart and grand nephew Zachary Stewart both of Indialantic, FL.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Al and Barbara (Oppenheim) Eisenstein of Long Boat Key, FL..

Pastor Glenn Hall will officiate the services.

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, IN. on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be One hour prior to the service on Monday, February 22, 2010. Burial will be at private at Oaklawn cemetery North Manchester, IN..

Ethel D. Shepherd

Ethel D. Shepherd, 91, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/12/2010 at 7:25 am at Parkview-Noble Hospital Kendallville, Indiana. She was born on January 18, 1919 in Floyd County, Kentucky.

Ethel was born to Smith and Audie (Poe) Johnson. She married Odis Shepherd in 1935 in Kentucky. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1995.
Ethel moved to Claypool in 1952 and then moved to Warsaw in 1993. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw.
She is survived by 3 Sons; Arnold (and spouse Cindy) Shepherd, Ligonier, Indiana
John (and spouse Sandy) Shepherd, Ligonier,Indiana

Services will be held at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Burial will be at Graceland cemetery, Claypool, Indiana.

Eleanor M. Holt

Eleanor M. Holt, 77, of 56698 C.R. 27, Goshen, Indiana, died on 2/15/2010 at 1:35 pm at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart.. She was born on February 26, 1932 in Goshen, Indiana.

On June 14, 1953, she married Murray A. Holt, who preceded her in death in 2006.
A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Eleanor was a loving Wife, Mother, Aunt and Grandmother. She was a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw, and was active as President of Kosciusko County Farmers Market Association for years. She enjoyed working with Murray in their fruit orchard and tending one of her many gardens.
Surviving are a son, Stephen Holt, Valparaiso; two daughters, Cindy Beachy, Goshen and Mrs. Brian (Amy) Pauley, Elkhart; and nine grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan; and a sister, Louise Coy. Eleanor had been residing in Goshen for the past three years, under the care and companionship of daughter, Cindy.

Services will be held at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at a later date.

Dixie L. Hoffer

Dixie L. Hoffer, 69, of 3176 West County Road 100 South Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/16/2010 at 11:20 am at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on November 27, 1940 in Wilmot, Indiana.

Dixies Parents were the late Charles and Maxine (Ulrey) Scott. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She married David Hoffer in Louisville, Kentucky on August 28, 1984. Dixie was a Beautician in the Warsaw and North Webster area.
She is survived by her husband Dave Hoffer of Warsaw, Indiana
One daughter Vikki (and spouse Sam) Shaw of Leesburg, Indiana
One son Scott (and spouse Melanie) Mickley of Kimmel, Indiana
Two step daughters Leah May of Warsaw, Indiana and Brita (and spouse Travis) Greer of Warsaw, Indiana
Ten grandchildren and Thirteen great - grandchildren

Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2010. Burial will be at Leesburg cemetery - Leesburg, IN.

Patricia Sue Young

Patricia Sue Young, 56, of 413 West Jefferson Street Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/16/2010 at 12:05 pm at her residence. She was born on February 15, 1953 in Warsaw, Indiana.

Patricia was born to Roscoe and Evelyn Borders. She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw, Indiana. On June 16, 1980 she was united in marriage to Eugene F. Young in Warsaw, Indiana. Pat was a homemaker and a member of the Salvation Army Church of Warsaw, Indiana.

She is survived by her loving family including husband Eugene F. Young of Warsaw, Indiana; her son Mark Borders of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sisters Carol Fletcher and Joann Frantz both of Warsaw, Indiana and brother Donald Borders of Gallatin, Tennessee. She was preceded by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Captain Dale Brandenburg of the Salvation Army Church will officate the services.

Stephanie Raye Bissett

Stephanie Raye Bissett, 39, of Pierceton, Indiana, died on 2/17/2010 at 10:50 am at her residence. She was born on August 14, 1970 in Ashland, Kentucky.

Her parents are Earl Castle Jr. and Fredrickia "June" Castle Mullins (Posey).
She was a waitress at Applebees Restaurant. Stephanie was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Pierceton, Indiana. She graduated from Ashland Beauty School in Ashland Kentucky.
She married Donald Bissett Jr. on July 7, 2006 at the Beaver Dam Church, Silver Lake, Indiana.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Donald Bissett of Pierceton, Indiana.
Three daughters, Holly Danielle Copley of Ashland, Kentucky; Ashley Houchin of Pierceton, Indiana and Virginia Bissett of Pierceton, Indiana.
Two sons, Nathaniel Houchin of Pierceton, Indiana and Donald Bissett Jr of Pierceton, Indiana.
One brother, William "Buddy" Patrick of Ashland, Kentucky
Two sister, Synthia Meeks of East Liverpool, Ohio and Alisha Perkins of Ironton, Ohio.
She is preceded by her father

Pastor Jim Baughman of Bethel Baptist Church will conduct the services.

Services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, Pierceton, Indiana on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 10:00 am. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm at the church on Friday, February 19, 2010. Burial will be at Hillcrest cemetery - Pierceton, Indiana.

Walter Emmanuel Blackwell

Walter Emmanuel Blackwell , 76, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/17/2010 at 10:00pm at Mason Heath & Rehab - Warsaw, IN. He was born on October 15, 1933 in Rittman, Ohio.

Walter Emmanuel Blackwell. 76 years old, loving husband and father was born to Walter E Blackwell, Sr and Agnes Blackwell. He was a 1955 graduate of Grace College, Winona Lake, IN. He married Velma Rae Reasinger in 1954, who survives him. There is a younger brother, Thomas Blackwell, who resides in Lakeland, FL.

Also surviving are five children: Sharon Wilhite, David Blackwell (and wife Cathy) of Warsaw, IN; Stephenie Charles of Winona Lake, IN; John Blackwell (and wife Kelly) of Warsaw, IN; and Diana Williams of Fort Wayne, IN. There are eight grand children and two great grandchildren.

Walter retired from R.R Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw, IN where he was employed for over 25 years. He was a member of the Church of The Brethren, an avid reader, outdoorsman and sportsman. A hard driven man with a heart of gold, he touched the lives of all who were blessed to know him. Walter will be missed but not forgotten. He left this world on Wednesday Feb. 17, 2010 to be with our Lord and Savior in heaven.

Calling will be at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, Warsaw, on Monday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am, Pastor Glen Byers officiating.

Barbara Ann Patterson Brilliandt

Barbara Ann Patterson Brilliandt, 79, of 4578 North State Road 15, Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/25/2010 at 5:10 pm at her residence. She was born on June 27, 1930 in Kosciusko County, Indiana.

Barbara was born to Loren and Eva (Secor) Downing. She lived her life in Warsaw. She married Max Patterson on June 5, 1948. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1984. Barbara then married Robert Brilliandt on February 14, 1987, he survives.
Barbara worked at the Strand Theater, Lake Theater and the Warsaw Drive-In and also ran the Boise Theater, the Webster Mermaid Theater and the Lincolndale Drive-In. She also was a co-owner of Creative Concrete and Plastercraft.
Barbara was a member of Celebration United Methodist Church, Winona Lake, lifetime member of the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, Dancing Grannies, TOPS and the Moose Lodge.
She was an avid animal lover, dancing and playing BINGO.
Barbara is survived by 3 Sons;
David (and spouse Valerie) Patterson, Prescott, Arizona
Jerry (and spouse Kathy) Patterson, Warsaw, Indiana
Larry (and spouse Linda) Patterson, Scottsdale, Arizona

and 19 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Celebration United Methodist Church, Winona Lake, Indiana on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 10:00 am. Calling hours will be 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Monday, March 1, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
