ROCHESTER Dr. William H. Fish D.O., 84, of Rochester, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife Beverly; daughters, Deborah (Chris) Barrick of Indianapolis and Jennifer (Mark) Hott of Rochester; a son, Jack Price of Fort Wayne; a sister, Dr. Maxine (Don) Huffman of Pella, Iowa; and brothers, John (Joann) Fish of Raleigh, N.C. and Lance (Linda) Fish of Des Moines, Iowa.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.
Funeral services will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, Va.
Harold O., Sr. Price
PLYMOUTH Harold O. Price Sr., 94, Plymouth, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at Millers Merry Manor, Plymouth.
He is survived by sons Harold O. (Linda) Price II of Denver, Col. and John A. and Betty Price of Wheatland, Wy.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11 at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Masonic funeral services will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.

Stella S. Baugher
WALKERTON Stella S. Baugher, 91, of Walkerton, died Dec. 8, 2009 after a short illness.
She is survived by one son, Roy E. Bud Baugher, Jr.; and one daughter: Elsie (Edward) Webb, both of Walkerton, as well as several grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, Dec. 13 at Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, 408 Roosevelt Rd., Walkerton, following visitation. Cremation followed.
David Castro
BOERNE, Texas David Castro, 54, formerly of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009.
He was a professional trapper with the Texas Wildlife Damage Management Service.
He is survived by his wife Cindy; daughters: Danielle, Gabriella and Jessica, and sons, David and Ryan, all of Texas, and daughter Jamie, of Bremen; seven grandchildren; brothers: Albert of San Antonio, Guadalupe and Ernie of Brownsville, Texas, Casey of Hesperia, Calif. Joe of Plymouth; and sister, Diana Haycraft of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Guadalupe and Marina Castro of Plymouth.
Services were held in San Antonio, Texas.
Donald E. Malcolm
FORT WAYNE Donald E. Malcolm, 74, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Nappanee, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 at Byron Health Center, Fort Wayne.
He is survived by daughters, Faye McFarland of Culver and Sandy Malcolm of Denver, Colo.; sons: Greg (Daisy) Malcolm of Fort Wayne, Roger (Cheryl) Malcolm of Natick, Mass. and Adam (Allison) Malcolm of Windmere, Fla.; brothers, George (Kate) Malcolm of Nappanee and Robert Malcolm of Elkhart; sister, Dorothy Rink of Millersburg; and former wife, Marianne Malcolm.
Visitation took place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Union Center Church of the Brethren, Nappanee.
Funeral services took place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Burial followed at Union Center cemetery, Nappanee.

ETNA GREEN A. Jayne Gault, 66, of Etna Green, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at 3:28 p.m. at her residence of natural causes.
She is survived by her children: Sally (Scott) Kauffman of Bourbon, Scott Trowbridge of Etna Green and Steve Trowbridge of Warsaw; step-children: Dawn (Leonard) Gagnon of Silver Lake and Kent (Missy) Gault of Bloomington; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Betty Davis of Etna Green; and brother, Doug (Connie) Davis of Ligonier.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14 in the Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon, and for one hour before services in the church Tuesday.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 in the Etna Green Church of Christ 206 W. Broadway Etna Green. Burial will take place in the Etna Green cemetery at Etna Green.
The family would welcome memorial contributions to Etna Green Church of Christ in her memory.
Shirley Gay Hayes
KNOX Shirley Gay Hayes, 41, of Knox, formerly of Chicago, Ill., died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at Starke Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband Martin; children: Jennifer (Bruce) Williams, William Jones and Ashley Bierod; siblings: Gerald (Irene) Minard, Patricia, Julie (A.D.) Brackins and Kathleen (Keith) Schlamadinger; seven grandchildren and many additional family members.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, Justice, Ill.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial took place at Resurrection cemetery, Justice, Ill.
Marjorie Schlosser
PLYMOUTH Marjorie Matilda Schlosser, 90, of Plymouth, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.
She is survived by nephews Richard Dye of Oakland, N.J. and John Dye of Henderson, Nev.; and nieces: Mary (Dye) McQueen of Nashville, Tenn., Diana (Dye) Erickson of Minneapolis, Minn. and Katherine (Dye) Hensel of Houston, Texas.
Visitation will take place Saturday, Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will take place Saturday at noon at the funeral home. Burial will take place at New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 128 Charles St., Plymouth, IN, 46563.
Charlotte J. Sizemore
BREMEN Charlotte J. Sizemore, 67, of Bremen, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at Community Hospital of Bremen.
She is survived by her husband Austin; sons, Mark (LeAnn) Sizemore of Texas and James Sizemore of Bremen; daughters, Arlene (Colby) Niles of Bremen and Darlene Sizemore of Bremen; several grandchildren; her mother, Ella Honaker of Ohio and sisters: Kay (Bill) Doyle, Vicky Taylor and Karen, all of Ohio.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13 at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 S. R. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Monday, Dec. 14 at First Baptist Church, Bremen.
Burial will follow at Bremen cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
Joan N. Andrews
NAPPANEE Joan N. Andrews, 65, of Nappanee, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at 3:35 a.m. following an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Andrews; son Jon (Allison) Andrews of Wakarusa; daughters Jennifer (Ty) Martin and Janelle (Carl) Salinas, both of Nappanee; and eight grandchildren.
Visistation is at the Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 14, and for one hour prior to services, which will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with her brother, Stan Noffsinger officiating.
Burial will be at Union Center East cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Joan Andrews Memorial Fund. Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Virginia LaBere
GROVERTOWN Virginia LaBere, 89, passed away in her home Friday, Dec. 11, 2009.
Mrs. LaBere was born Aug. 3, 1920 in Walkerton, and lived in the area all of her life. On June 28, 1946 in Walkerton, she was married
to Francis LaBere, who preceded her in death in 1994.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Scarbrough; three sons: Ron, Richard and Raymond LaBere; and one sister, Mary Cripe.
Survivors include two sons, Roy (Rose) LaBere of South Bend and Garry LaBere of Walkerton; four grandsons, Ron, David, Roger and Jeff LaBere; three granddaughters, Donna Litteral, Mary Jane West and Ashley LaBere; six great-grandsons; seven great-granddaughters and many great-great grandchildren. She was a homemaker.
Friends may call Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. (EST) and Wednesday one hour prior to the service at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Woodlawn cemetery, Walkerton.
Roy O., Jr. Tracy
VALPARAISO Roy O. Tracy Jr. 56, of Valparaiso formerly of Plymouth, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at the Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus.
He was born March 4, 1953 in Plymouth to Roy and Clarice (Ross) Tracy.
He worked in the construction industry for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and re-finishing old furniture.
He is survived by his step-mother, Evelyn Tracy, and four sisters: Lynn (Robert) Putt of Rensselaer, Connie (Robert) Moore of Rensselaer, Marsha (Jack) Shearer of Valparaiso and Karen (Mike) Morrill of Rensselaer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one step-brother.
Cremation rites will take place at Angelcrest crematory.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or VNA Hospice of Porter Co.
Rolland D. Fisher
LAKEVILLE Rolland D. Fisher, 80, of Lakeville, died at 1 a.m. Saturday at Hospice House, South Bend.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine D. Fisher; daughters: Mary Fisher, Elaine Brown, Susan Fisher and Leslie Fisher all of Lakeville; sons: Jim Fisher of Nappanee, Sam and Carl Fisher of Bremen, and Vernon Fisher of Lakeville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Willet of Lakeville and Marilyn Gerding of Mishawaka; and a brother, Junior Fisher of Plymouth.
Memorial Services were held at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14 at the United Pentecostal Church, 1174 Lake Street, Walkerton.
Dale J. Krohn
KINGSMAN, Ariz. Dale J. Krohn, 75, formerly of Bremen, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at his home in Kingsman, Ariz.
He is survived by a son, Mark, of Kingsman; a daughter, Lynette Wedemyer of Kingsman; seven
grandchildren; and a sister, Jerry Morrison of Rochester. Burial took place at Phoenix Memorial
Park, Phoenix, Ariz.
Cathern "Kate" Christner
NAPPANEE Cathern Kate Christner, 92, of Nappanee, died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009 at Luann Nursing Home, Nappanee.
She is survived by a son, Jon (Judy) Christner of Middlebury; two grandsons; two step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Evelyn Watkins of Nappanee.
Visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 at the Grace Point Presbyterian Church, Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Hepton Union cemetery, Nappanee.
