BOURBON -- Everett T. Beagle, 80, of Bourbon, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at Miller’s Merry
Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy (Patty) Summy; children: Bradley Beagle of Avon, Teresa Savill
of Bourbon and Cheryl Mast of Carlsbad, Calif.; and three grandsons.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19 at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home,
115 S. Main St., Bourbon.

Gracie A. Klinedinst
PLYMOUTH -- Gracie A. Klinedinst, 83, of Berkley Street, Plymouth, died at 10:28 a.m.,
Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Carl) Heminger of Winamac; and grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
There were no services.
Burial has taken place in the Tyner cemetery, Tyner.
Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth assisted the family with arrangements.

Robert C. Miller
PLYMOUTH -- Robert C. Miller, 84, of Plymouth, died at 12 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at
Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth. He was born May 22, 1926 in Columbia City, to William and
Margaurite Miller and lived in Marshall County for 22 years.
Jan. 18, 1945 he married his high-school sweetheart, Barbara Lou (Meier) Miller, in Columbia
City, and together they shared 64 years with each other. She preceded him in death Dec. 31,
2007. He was employed with Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne from 1945 to 1976 and retired
from a management position.
He was a graduate of Columbia City High School, class of 1944 and served honorably and
proudly in the United States Army in Europe from Sept. 6, 1944 to June 21, 1946 during WWII,
receiving a Bronze Star for Bravery while serving. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge,
American Legion Post #98 both of Columbia City, and was a member of Big Lake Church of
God, Columbia City.
He is survived by a son, John (Shari) Miller of Plymouth; grandchildren, Bill (Julia) Miller of
Plymouth, and Jodi Coyle of Columbia City; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Ann
(Richard) Hyndman of Columbia City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Robert W. Miller; and a brother, Lewis Miller.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman
Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Rob Mace officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice in memory of Bob.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.

Phyllis Irene Smith
NORTH AURORA, Ill. -- Phyllis Irene Smith, 74, of North Aurora, Ill. died peacefully at her home
Nov. 28, 2010 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.
Phyllis was born Jan. 17, 1936 to Fredrick M. and Estella V. Wolff in Walkerton. She graduated
from Plymouth High School in 1954 and went on to earn her education degree from Indiana
University in 1958. July 26, 1959, she married James O. Smith of Rochester.
Phyllis was a school teacher in Aurora, Ill., first of all with West Aurora School District and then
following that she taught for 17 years at Aurora Central Catholic High School. A devout Christian,
Phyllis was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon and
elder and was a willing volunteer for the many activities of the church.
She was also a member of LB Chapter of PEO since 1974 holding many positions including president.
The greatest joy for Phyllis was her grandchildren and her family. She loved to travel and had
been on many cruises and in many countries, but none gave her more pleasure than the
Caribbean cruise she and Jim took with their children and grandchildren in 2009 to celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Jim; their son, Kevin (Stacey) Smith and their children:
Mitchell, Morgan and Marla of Sammamish, Wash. And her daughter, Jan (Von) Peery and their
children: Caleb, Mollie and Xander of North Aurora, Ill. Phyllis is also survived by her mother,
Estella Wolff of South Bend; three sisters: Sharon Duram of South Bend, Jeanne (Charles)
Graham of Granger, and Martha Moore of South Bend; as well as many nieces, nephews, greatnieces
and great-nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Wolff; her brother, Neil W. Wolff; and her
brothers-in-law, Ralph Duram and Michael Moore.
Phyllis’ family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at The Healy Chapel, 332
W. Downer Pl. Aurora.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at Westminster
Presbyterian Church, 10 N. Edgelawn Dr. Aurora, Ill. With Pastor Chuck Legvold officiating.
Interment will be at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Westminster Presbyterian Church or to
the American Cancer Society designated for lung cancer research.
Phyllis’ family wishes to thank the many caregivers and friends who helped them through this
ordeal.

Annette Marie Smith
PLYMOUTH -- Annette Marie Smith, 73, a Plymouth resident since 1996, died at 1:50 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 in the Life Care Center, Rochester.
The daughter of Wilburn and Nancy Marie Ebersole Turner, Annette was born Jan. 12, 1937 in
Kodak, Ky. June 1, 1957, in Chicago, Annette became the bride of George Smith.
Annette had worked as a nurse-bookkeeper in Chicago for Dr. Oscar Simon for 20 years and Dr.
Marvin Brown for 10 years, retiring in 1993.
Surviving are Annette’s husband of 53 years, George; two daughters, Nancy Jo (Dave)
Steadman of Schererville and Georgina Lynn (Scott) Newvine of Beaumont, Texas; a
granddaughter, Jessica Annette Steadman; a grandson, Michael Leo Solis (Adrienne Silva); a
great-grandson, Austin Michael Solis; and a sister, Phyllis “Sue” Phillips of Plymouth.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Clifford Anderson; two brothers,
Wilburn Turner and Michael Anderson; and a sister, Betty Jo Turner.
Friends may share memories with Annette’s family Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. in
the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Paul Whitworth, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2,
2010, in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts in Annette’s name may be made to the Life Care Center, 827 W. 13th St.,
Rochester, IN, 46975.

Joyce A. Fuller
NAPPANEE -- Joyce A. Fuller, 81, of Nappanee, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at Center for
Hospice Care, Elkhart.
She is survived by a son, Timothy (Kina) Fuller of Nappanee; daughter, Linda Nihart of Little
Rock, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a brother,
Arden Tusing of Marion; and a sister, Dorothy Amsden of Texas.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder
Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Violett cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

Cassidy Wayne Ogle
KEWANNA -- Cassidy Wayne Ogle, 29, of Kewanna, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at his residence.
He is survived by his mother, Penny (William “Butch”) Wells of El Mirage, Ariz.; his father, Randy
Ogle of Kewanna; fianceé, Kayla Escobar of Rochester; and their children: Lilian, Isaiah, and
Jacob; paternal grandparents, Dick and Darlene Ogle of Rochester; a nephew; cousins, uncle,
Neal Easterday of Rochester; aunt and uncle, Debbie (Charles) Kirk of Rochester; and
numerous other aunts and uncles also survive.
Visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at Good Family Funeral
Home, Rochester.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Fulton cemetery.

Anne Marie Roscka
VALPARAISO -- Anne Marie Roscka, 50, Valparaiso, formerly of Knox, died Monday, Nov. 29,
2010 in Valparaiso.
She was born Friday, Sept. 9, 1960 in Plymouth, to Eli J. Roscka, Jr. and Cleta Sue (Wilson)
Roscka and lived in Valparaiso for more than 20 years, coming from Knox.
Anne was a 1978 Graduate of Knox High School. She went on to Purdue and received her
degree in Speech and Hearing; she received her master’s degree from Ball State University in
Deaf Education.
She worked for the Porter County Co-op Services since graduation and was teaching at the
Chesterton High School in Chesterton. Anne was a member of the Eagle Creek Community
Church where she taught Sunday School and directed Vacation Bible School. She worked with
the Chesterton High School Student Council and was a member-elect for the Indiana State
Student Council Board. She was the statistician and very proud to be associated with the
Chesterton High School gymnastics team. Anne was a counselor and director at Camp Epworth
for several years.
She served on the Board of Directors for Deaf Education. She signed for the community when
needed. During high school she was selected Knox High School Prom Queen. Anne was a 10-
year 4-H member and assisted with Junior Leaders and the 4-H Fair queen contest. She loved
her students, they were her family. Anne was blessed to have wonderful friends.
She is survived by her parents, Eli J. and Cleta Sue Roscka of Knox; a brother, John R. and Teri
D. Roscka of Monticello; a niece, Ashley D. Roscka of Monticello (Junior at Ball State
University); aunts, Jan and Larry Reynolds of Monticello, and Vicky Brand of Ridge Manor, Fla.;
an uncle, Dan and Ellie Roscka of Knox; and several loved cousins and friends.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. (CST), Friday, Dec. 3, at the Knox United Methodist
Church, 201 S. Shield Street, Knox, IN, 46534, and one hour prior to services Saturday.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the church with Rev. Edward
L. Hasnerl of the Eagle Creek Community Church in rural Knox, and Rev. Chris Dodson of the
Monticello Christian Church of Monticello officiating.
Burial will follow at Crown Hill cemetery in Knox.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be given to Deaf Service, 6 E. 67th
Avenue, Merrillville, IN, 46410 (219-769-6506), or the Eagle Creek Community Church of rural
Knox. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, IN, 47960, assisted the family with
arrangements.

Maxine E. Sellers
WALKERTON -- Maxine E. Sellers, 95, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Walkerton.
She is survived by her son, Barry Sellers of Walkerton; daughter, Gay Vandervort of Kentucky;
sister, Mary Schultz of Hamlet; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. (ET) Sunday, Dec. 5 at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz
Lake Chapel.
Funeral services will take place at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Rachel A. Warner
ROCHESTER -- Rachel A. Warner 84, E. 18th Street, Rochester, formerly of Plymouth, passed
away at 1:58 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Hickory Creek of Rochester.
She was born Sept. 27, 1926 in Fulton County, Ind., the daughter of Edward and Gertrude
(Barkman) Eash. June 12, 1948 in Argos, she married Bernard Ray Warner, and he survives.
Mrs. Warner had been a homemaker and co-owner of the Sunoco Distributor in Argos. She had
attended the First Baptist Church, Rochester, and enjoyed cooking and cleaning.
Survivors include her daughters, Janan and husband Dr. Laurence Rogers of Rochester and
Laurie and husband Robert Baker of Plymouth; grandchildren: Corey and wife Sarah Rogers of
Rochester, Rachel and husband Matthew Woods of Rochester, Seth and wife Samantha Rogers
of El Paso, Texas, and Eric Baker of Plymouth; sisters, Phyllis and husband Don Pearson of Fort
Wayne and Carol Jean and husband Robert Sandy of Galena, Ill.; and a brother, Maurice and
wife Edith Eash of Lexington, Mass.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and her parents.
Private funeral services will be conducted at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.
Burial will be in the Richland Center cemetery, northwest of Rochester.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Animal Shelter or the Marshall County
Humane Society.

Leo Paul (Frenchie) Levesque
WALKERTON -- Leo Paul Levesque (Frenchie), 79, of Walkerton, died at 9:15 p.m.,
Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at the Community Hospital of Bremen.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine “Jeri” Levesque; daughters: Valerie A. Wolfe of Goshen,
Shelia S. (Phillip) Kennedy of South Bend, and Gail D. (Leonard) Sargent of Plymouth; a son,
Leo R. Levesque of Walkerton; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gertrude
Gagne of Ocala, Fla.; and his brother, Henry Levesque of California.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6 at Van Gilder Funeral Home,
300 West Madison Street, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in New Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth with military Memorial contributions may be
made to the Center for Hospice Care, 112 S. Center St., Plymouth, Indiana.
