Elcon B. Silveus
BOURBON -- Eldon B. Silveus, of 13860 Elm Road, Bourbon, passed away Friday, Sept. 24,
2010 at 10:05 p.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, at the age of 86.
He was born July 2, 1924 in Milford, to Amos Silveus and Mary Grace (Banks) Silveus Wallace.
June 25, 1947 he was married to Mary E. Clark, who survives.
Eldon was a 1943 graduate of Bourbon High School, Bourbon. He then served in the U.S. Army
during World War II in the European Theater and the Battle of the Bulge, and was honorably
discharged in 1946.
He was a self-employed building contractor, and owner of Silveus Construction, Bourbon. He
was a lifetime area resident of Bourbon, and he also wintered in Florida for many years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Mary E. Silveus of Bourbon; three
daughters: Pamela J. Silveus of New Paris, Vickie L. (husband George) Cook of Plymouth, and
M. Michaeleen (husband Robert) Crow of Culver; two sons, Dr. Patrick C. (wife Jana) Silveus of
Warsaw, and Robert J. (wife Jackie) Silveus of Plymouth; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Eldon Silveus in 1971; two
brothers, Jay and Hugh Silveus; and sisters: Faye Shuta, Annabelle Bednarski, Mary Alice Long,
and Ramona Silveus.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225
Argonne Road, Warsaw.
A graveside service with military rites will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m. at Mount
Pleasant cemetery, Bourbon, officiated by Pastor Matt Elliott of Grace Baptist Church, Plymouth.
Memorial donations can be made in Eldon’s name to the Marshall County Humane Society,
11165 13th Road, Plymouth, IN, 46563-9014; or to the charity of one's choice.

Donald E. Jemstrom
PLYMOUTH -- Donald E. Jernstrom, 80, of 12661 Plymouth-Goshen Trail, Plymouth, passed
away Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at 5:31 p.m. at the Elkhart Hospice House, Elkhart.
Donald was born Dec. 6, 1929, in South Bend, to Conrad and Helga (Anderson) Jernstrom. He
married Bonnie VanBlaricom Sept. 26, 1968. Don owned Don's Cafeteria, in Plymouth, for
several years. He drove a truck for Central Transfer, in Plymouth. He also was a Teamster driver
for Redi Froz, in South Bend, retiring in 1985. He served in the Naval Reserve out of Great
Lakes, Ill.
Don is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jernstrom; his daughter, Deborah Palomo of Mission, Texas;
his sons, Michael (Mary) Jernstrom of Bremen, Robert Jernstrom of LaPorte, and Ward
Jernstrom of Plymouth; the children's mother, Phyllis Jernstrom of Plymouth; his sister, Betty
Reese of Sun City West, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

June Stutzman
Selina "June" Stutzman, 83, 1412 Spear St., was surrounded by her loving family as she passed
away at 7:40 a.m. Saturday at Life Care Center of Rochester.
June was born June 26, 1927, in Howard County to Harley and Ruth (Miller) Mishler. She shared
her childhood with brother Glen and graduated from Clay-Miami High School.
On June 30, 1950, June was united in marriage to Arthur "David" "Dave" Stutzman. Their union
produced a daughter, Leta, and three sons, Steven, Rick and Randy. The Stutzman family made
Rochester their home in 1962, coming from Converse.
Over the years June took great pride in adding color to the family home with flower gardens that
enhanced the beauty of the landscape. The bountiful harvest from the vegetable garden was
enjoyed by June's family. She was a dedicated employee of Hart Schaffner & Marx, working for
16 years until her retirement in 1978. She treasured the friendships she'd made and was an
active member of the HSM retirees group.
To relax June enjoyed watching game shows, especially "Jeopardy, " "Wheel of Fortune" and
"The Price is Right." During basketball season she followed Indiana's big three teams: Notre
Dame, Purdue and of course Indiana University. Paramount in her life was her family. She
enjoyed cooking and baking for holiday and family celebrations. She especially enjoyed baking
cookies. Among those in popular demand were Grandma's cookies topped with red hots,
molasses and chocolate chips. Grandma June could be counted on and was always prepared
with an endless supply of fresh cookies whenever the family visited.
Survivors include one daughter, Leta Sterk and husband Lee, Rochester; three sons, Steven
Stutzman and wife Jonel, Graham, Texas, Rick Stutzman and wife Linda, Eastridge, Tenn., and
Randy Stutzman and wife Mary, Mentone; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four
step grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; four step great-great-grandchildren; and a
brother, Glen Mishler, Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two granddaughters, Christie Renee
and Christina Michelle.
A celebration of the life of Mrs. Selina "June" Stutzman will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the
Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Pastor Bill Sheets will officiate.
Interment will be in the family plot at Rochester's IOOF cemetery, where she'll be laid to eternal
rest next to her beloved husband Dave. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home from
4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and an hour prior to services on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

Robert Wayne Broxkus
SUN LAKES, Ariz. -- Robert Wayne Brockus, 73, of 26455 South Hogan Drive, Sun Lakes,
Ariz., formerly of Culver and Argos, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 at Saint Joseph Medical Center,
Phoenix, Ariz.
He was born June 3, 1937 in Argos, to Buros and Margaret Maier Brockus and was later
employed as a bank teller. Bob married Sharon Mowiser Dec. 29, 1957 at the Walnut Church of
the Brethren in Argos. She survives.
Bob and Sharon lived in Indiana for many years before moving to Arizona in 1983. He had been
an active supporter of the Argos Little League in Argos, and was a former member of the Lion’s
Club. He was also a member of the St. Steven’s Catholic Church in Sun Lakes, Ariz.
Bob was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He loved his family very much and will be
missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon K. Mowiser, Sun Lakes, Ariz.; daughter, Debra K. (Mark)
Gordon of Winamac; a son, Steven W. (Barbara) Brockus of Phoenix, Ariz.; granddaughters:
Whitney Brockus, Chantal (Kyle) Rensberger, and Vanessa Gordon; grandsons: Derek Brockus,
Drew Brockus, and Konner Brockus; great-granddaughter, Bria Rensberger; and sisters: Mary
Batcho of Plymouth, Bernice (Richard) Erow of Milford and Evelyn (Warren Maxwell) Bowman of
Sturgis, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Maier Brockus and Buros Brockus; two
brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. (EDT) Friday, Oct. 15, at Frain Mortuary, 305 E. Main St.,
Winamac.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Frain Mortuary with Rev. Martin Sandhage
officiating.
Burial will take place in the Maple Grove cemetery, Argos.
Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Russell Earl Bradley
PLYMOUTH -- Russell Earl Bradley, 66, 705 Mansfield, Plymouth, died at 12:42 a.m. Monday,
Sept. 27, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 5, 1943 in Plymouth to Wilbur and Susie Bradley and lived for more than 36
years in Plymouth, coming from Galien, Mich.
He married Kolleen G. Bradley in 1974 in Plymouth. He was a member of the Sons of the
American Legion Post #385 LaPaz. He loved camping, country music, spending time with family,
his grandchildren and friends. He was a “people person.”
He is survived by his wife Kolleen; son, Craig Miller of Plymouth; daughter, Angela Leed of
Plymouth; five grandchildren: Scout Leed, Zoe Leed, Daren Miller, Emma Miller and Nicholas
Miller; brothers: Eddie Bradley of Buchanan, Mich., Allen Bradley of Niles, Mich., and Bernard
Bradley of Chesterton; a sister, Delores Zimmerman of Cameron, N.C.; mother-in-law Jean
(Pete) Guerrero of Benton, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Pamela Bradley; two sons, Ronald Miller
and Gregg Miller.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at Hoven Funeral Home, 414
East Front Street, Buchanan, Mich.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Galien cemetery, Galien, Mich., followed by a dinner at the Eagles Lodge,
404 W. LaPorte, Plymouth.
Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.

Kameron Ann Jonas
NAPPANEE -- Kameron Ann Jonas was stillborn Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at Bremen
Community Hospital.
She is survived by her mother, Crystal Ford; brothers, Tyler Jonas and David Ford III of
Nappanee; a sister, Katelyn Russell of Nappanee; and grandparents, Frank and Roxanne
Paymaster, Nappanee. Funeral services will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1 at Grace Point
Presbyterian Church. Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, assisted the
family with arrangements.

Miriam Lynn Mishler
BREMEN -- Miriam Lynn Mishler, 79, of Bremen, passed away Sept. 28, 2010 in her residence.
She was born July 14, 1931 in Bremen, to Donald and Garnette L. Skinner. She married Russell
“Dean” Mishler in February of 1957; he preceded her in death March of 1972.
Miriam was a retired children’s librarian at the Bremen Public Library. She was a graduate of
Manchester College, was a member of the Retired Indiana Public Employees Association and a
member of the First United Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, playing games, puzzles,
bowling and feeding birds and collecting owls. She especially enjoyed studying genealogy and
learning about her family.
She is survived by a brother-in-law, Roger E. Lantz, Bremen; three nieces: Deborah K. (Scott)
Manges of North Manchester, Melinda S. Lantz of North Manchester, and Kathy S. Fox of
Cassopolis, Mich.; and two nephews, Ted R. (Chris) Lantz, Wakarusa and Wayne A. (Becky)
Mishler, Bremen.
Also surviving are two great-nieces, Amy J. Acree and Kelsey J. Lantz; and two great-nephews,
Jeffrey S. Manges and Jordan D. Lantz.
She was preceded by her parents, and her husband, Dean; and a sister, Jo Ellen Lantz.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ,
Bremen, with Pastor Tom Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Bremen cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bremen Community Hospital, First United Church of
Christ or the Bremen Public Library.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

B. Lucille Wolley
WARREN, Ohio -- B. Lucille Woolley of Windsor House of Champion, Ohio, formerly of Eldon
Drive, died at 9:27 p.m. at her residence, Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010.
She was born, Feb. 13, 1922, in Donaldson, Ind., to the late Theron E. and Clara M. Hovis
Jones. She was married to Lewis E. Woolley of Plymouth, Ind. Nov. 14, 1955.
Preceding her in death besides her parents are her husband who died Nov. 19, 1970 are one
sister, Thelma R. Baxter; and one brother, Robert L. "Bob" Jones. Also surviving her is a sister-in-law,
Helen L. Jones; two brothers, Charles E. (Joyce) Jones of Plymouth, and Ralph O. Jones
of Donaldson; also several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from grade school in Donaldson in 1935, and from West Township High School
in 1939. She worked in a glove factory in Plymouth, Ind. For 15 years. She moved to Ohio in
1955; her husband was employed at the Warren Tribune Chronicle. After her husband's death
she worked at Grant's, then Stambaugh's Home Improvement Center, retiring after working
there 18 years. She was a member of the Champion Presbyterian Church, also the Ladies Aid
Society of the church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave.,
Warren, with services to be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 1, at the Champion Presbyterian Church,
where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be at the Oakhill
cemetery Chapel in Plymouth, at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, and arrangements locally will be
handled by the Van Gilder Funeral Home. Contributions are requested to be made to Champion
Presbyterian Church, 4997 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, Ohio, 44483.

Devon Marvin Epson
PLYMOUTH -- Devon Marvin Epson, 74, passed away Wed, Sept. 29.
Surviving are his mother, Bernice Asher; companion, Debra Davis; daughters, Lori Rothbauer
and Sue Miner; son, Steve Epson; brother and sisters, Jerry Epson, Karen McMahon, Joyce Williams.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Mon, Oct 4 in Fairview cemetery, Mishawaka.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative
Care (Plymouth).
Hahn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
