Donna R. Sobieck
KNOX -- Donna R. Sobieck, 61, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at her residence.
She is survived by sons, Frank “Mike” (Terrie) Sobieck Jr. of Grovertown and Robbie Sobieck of
Knox; a daughter, Tonia Filip of Knox; five grandchildren; two brothers, Pete Ringle of Knox and
Donald Scarborough Jr. of Knox; and one sister, Sandy Gentry of Knox.
There will be no visitation.
A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. (Central Time) Saturday, July 3 at Fletcher
cemetery, Hamlet.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Quentin J. Freiburger
YODER, Ind. -- Quentin J. Freiburger, 86, of Yoder, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at New
Haven Care & Rehab Center.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; daughters: Leona (Jerry) Moore of Hoagland, Nancy (Keith
“Gus”) Quatman of Ossian and Judy (John) Nonemaker of Plymouth; sons, Dale (Kathy)
Freiburger of Markle and Doyle (Amy) Freiburger of Roanoke; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
and a sister, Myrtle Dinger of Payne Ohio.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 2, with a Rosary service at 8
p.m.; and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester
Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road with prayers at 2 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
Burial will military services will follow at St. Aloysius Church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Haven Care & Rehab, Heartland Hospice or St.
Aloysius Catholic Church Stain Glass Window Fund.
Thelma B. Stiles
TIPPECANOE -- Thelma B. Stiles, age 74, of 18195 Hartz Drive, Tippecanoe, passed away at
5:05 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Memorial Hospital, in South Bend.
Thelma was born Aug. 22, 1935, in Fulton County, to Dale and Pluma Fern (Slife) Miller. The
family moved to LaPaz, when she was a child.
Thelma was president/office manager of Pyramid Mechanical Company, in Addison, Ala., for 16
years. She also worked at Dave & Ray’s Supermarket, Plymouth, in the deli department.
Thelma became the bride of Ernest W. Stiles May 3, 1968. Together they raised their three
daughters.
Thelma is survived by her loving husband, of 42 years, Ernest W. Stiles of Tippecanoe; their
daughters, Bobbie (Mike) Milliser of Plymouth, Tina (Jimmie) Williams of Plymouth, and Debbie
(Dave Reed) of Walkerton. Also surviving are Thelma's six grandchildren; two great grandchildren;
her sisters, Virginia Renfrow of Salem, Ill. and Wilma Kreighbaum of Bourbon;
and her brother, David (Jean) Miller of Walkerton.
Thelma was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Miller; and her sisters, Wanda Shidaker
and Penny Miller.

CULVER -- Frances B. Welsh, 82, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Miller's
Merry Manor, Culver.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters: Sharyl Welsh of Ellettsville, Cathy LaBombard
of Garland, Texas, Pam (Harold) Johnson of Culver, Jacqueline (Dwayne) Sandlian of
Torrington, Wyo.; a brother, Robert Flora of Culver; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 4 at Odom Funeral Home, Culver.
Funeral services will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6 at Burr Oak cemetery, Culver. Memorial
contributions may be given to the Shalom Fellowship, Plymouth, or the Culver Lions Club.
Margaret E. Fawley
BREMEN -- Mrs. Margaret E. Fawley, 99, a resident of Bremen Health Care Center, formerly of
Bourbon, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Bremen Health Care Center.
She was born the daughter of John Henry Reichert and Maude Lee Hershberger Reichert June
8, 1911, north of Bourbon. She had been a resident of the area all her life. Margaret was a
homemaker and caretaker.
She also worked at Ames and Fawley Paint Store. In her spare time she enjoyed making
“scrubbies” and visiting her friends at the corner restaurant. She was also a member of the Town
and Country Club of Bourbon.
She was married
April 28, 1937 to Doyle Fawley who died June 2, 1975.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean and husband Jim A. Romine of Mentone; and a
son, James and wife Sally Fawley of Bourbon. She was also blessed with five grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Lyons of Waynesboro, Va.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Zillmer and Martha Ellsworth; and a brother,
Carl “Zeb” Reichert.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 3 in the Deaton-Clemens Funeral
Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN, 46504 with Pastor David Gould officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery north of Bourbon.
The family would welcome memorial contributions to Bremen Health Care Center in her memory.
Deaton-Clemens funeral home is in charge of local arrangements.
Ralph F. Ballard
BREMEN -- Ralph F. Ballard, of Bremen, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at
Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Along with his wife, Patsy Ballard; he is survived by his son, Mark (Deborah) Ballard of Knoxville,
Tenn.; three sisters, Frances Curtis of Three Rivers, Mich., Ione Jeane (Clifton) Brown of
Brandon, Fla. and Carol (Barry) Green of Brooksville, Fla.; one brother Clifford (Bobbette)
Devine of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews, including Mark and Sharon Dawson of Bristol.
He was preceded in death by his father, Finnis Ballard; and his mother and stepfather,
Ilah and Clifford Devine.
There will be no services or visitation at this time.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.

family with arrangements.

Brittany Rae Crase
NORTH JUDSON -- Brittany Rae Crase, 18, died July 2, 2010 at the scene of an accident at
200 N and 500 W, Winamac.
She is survived by her father, Billy Ray (Brenna) Crase Jr. of North Judson; mother, Sherry Lee
(Dennis) Fields of North Judson; sister, Brooke Allison Fields of North Judson; brother, Dennis
Bryon Fields Jr. of North Judson; step maternal grandfather, Bill Miller of North Judson; paternal
grandfather, Bill (Vonda) Crase Sr. of Knox; and paternal grandmother, Brenda (Wayne) Tanner
of Knox.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT at O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc.,
North Judson.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be Thursday, July 8 at Highland cemetery, North Judson.
Joseph Procaccino
Soldotna, Alaska - Joseph Procaccino, 88 of Soldotna, Alaska, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, July
2, 2010 at Heritage Place Nursing Home in Soldotna after an exteded Illness.
He was born September 30, 1921 in Logansport.
Joe is survived by his wife Dorothy (Jacox) Procaccino of Soldotna; two sons, A.J. (Donna)
Procaccino, and James (Sue) Procaccino; four stepchildren; Ellen (Carl) Kempf, Stev(Sharon)
Nowicki, Theresa (David) Bollinger, Tom (Kathy) Nowicki; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Michael Kempf; great grandchild
Leo Cage Rose Procaccino; and by eight siblings: Jim, Lou, Tony, Hank, John, Mary,
Jeannie, and Angeline.
Joe served his country in both the Marines and the Army Air corps in WWII. He was awarded the
Bronze Star and a National Defense Medal. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW
and belonged to the Operating Engineers Union for 45 years as a heavy equipment operator. He
was an avid golfer.
Cremation took place in Soldotna, Alaska.
A memorial service will be held at Johnson Danielson Funeral Home, Plymotuh, Saturday, Aug
28, with visitation at 10 a.m. and a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m. The Rev.
William Kummer will preside.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill cemetery with Military Honors.

Allean (Minix) Wireman
NORTH JUDSON -- Allean (Minix) Wireman, 70, of North Judson died July 2, 2010 at Starke
Memorial Hospital, Knox.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Day of Westmont, Ill. And Sandy McCarty of LaPorte; son,
Greg Wireman of LaPorte; sisters, Betty Sowards of North Judson and Lorine Minix of Winamac;
brother, Clifton Minix of Knox; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT at O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc., North
Judson and after 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7 at Living Water Christian Church, Knox.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 7 at 11 a.m. at Living Water Christian Church, Knox.
Interment will be Wednesday, July 7 at Highland cemetery, North Judson.
Kevin W. Fish
LaPAZ -- Kevin W. Fish, 54, a LaPaz resident all of his life, died at 6:12 a.m. on Saturday, July
3, 2010 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend from natural causes.
The son of Harold and Pauline J. Crum Fish, Kevin was born on Jan. 3, 1956 in Plymouth. He
was a 1974 graduate of LaVille High School.
He had worked at Gundlach Trucking before becoming the owner and operator of A & F
Trucking for 22 years and was presently the Fleet Manager for United Beverage of South Bend.
An avid bowler, he had bowled at Albert’s Bowling Lanes in LaPaz, was one of the main
organizers of LaPaz Park, had a fondness for his dog “Buster, ” enjoyed boating, truck and tractor
pulls and was an avid NASCAR fan. Kevin currently served on the LaPaz Park Board, had been
a member of the Marshall County Civil Defense for more than 20 years and was an honorary
member of the LaPaz Fire Dept., from which he retired after serving 25 years, 17 of those years
he served as the Secretary-Treasurer. He also loved to travel with friends to Las Vegas.
Kevin is survived by his sister, Karen Vosler of Dayton, Ohio, and three nieces: Barbara
Paskewicz, Kristine Bauske, Cheryl Murphy and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Roy Fish.
Friends are invited to celebrate the life of Kevin W. Fish with his family from 4 to 8 p.m. on
Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St.,
Plymouth.
Funeral services for Kevin will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010, in the funeral home.
The Rev. Stephen Cox, pastor of the Cornerstone Community Fellowship. LaPaz, will officiate.
Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery.
Memorial gifts in Kevin’s honor may be made to the LaPaz Fire Department or the Marshall

Pauline Richhart
ROCHESTER -- Pauline Richhart, 97, of 2461 Liberty Road Rochester, passed away at 1:43
a.m. July 3, 2010.
She is survived by four grandchildren; a brother, John (Ella) Richards of Crescent City, Fla.;
seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren
A celebration of the life of Pauline Richhart will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 in the Good
Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Rev. Maurice Grindle officiating.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. A memorial service conducted by
Order of Eastern Star service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Interment will follow at the Rochester
IOOF cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Grace United Methodist
Church, 201 W. 7th St., Rochester or Hickory Creek at Rochester, 340 E. 18th St. Rochester.
Dennis Ralph Bollman
NILES, Mich. -- Dennis Ralph Bollman, age 70, of 2804 N. 5th Street, Niles, Mich., formerly of
Plymouth, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, at his home.
Dennis was born June 13, 1940, in Plymouth, to Ralph and Mary (Cain) Bollman. Dennis
graduated from Plymouth High School in the Class of 1958.
He furthered his education at Purdue University and graduated in 1965, with a degree in
accounting. Dennis spent most of his life in the Marshall County area.
Dennis is survived by his son, Brett and Denise Bollman of Grovertown; his daughter, Kathy and
Kevin Dunham of Colorado; his brother, Ronald and Nancy Bollman of Anderson; two
grandchildren, Misty and Callista; and his companion, Lura.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Randy Bollman.
