Billy Lee Shively
SOUTH BEND -- Billy Lee Shively, 69, of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010
in Golden Living Center – Fountainview, Mishawaka.
He was born Oct. 25, 1940 in Plymouth, the son of Dorlan W. and Olive K. (Thornburg) Shively.
Billy was raised by his grandparents, Jesse and Faye Shively. Billy was a security guard at
Bendix, retiring in 1996 after 30 years. He remained a lifelong resident of the area.
July 2, 1983 in South Bend, he married
the former Donna S. Peterson, who survives. Billy is also
survived by three daughters: Darlene K. (Mark) Koselke of Lakeville, Julie A. (Ron) Holt of South
Bend, and Holly A. Shively of Cumming, Ga.; two sons, Steven E. Shively of Mishawaka, and
Robert L. (Valerie) Shively of South Bend; three stepsons: Kevin C. (Kathy) Harrison of
Mishawaka, Eugene W. (Amy) Harrison of Prescott, Ariz., and Dwayne P. (Lea) Harrison of
Mesa, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Billy was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Ann Shively, and a brother, Dorlan Shively, Jr.
Billy was a member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, South Bend Moose Lodge
#58, and Lakeville Conservation Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing and watching sporting
events. He also enjoyed breakfast with friends and riding in his golf cart to visit his friends at the
campground.
Funeral services for Billy will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 in the Palmer Funeral Home –
Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, with the Rev. Dr. Patrick Somers officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to
services. Private burial will take place at Oakhill cemetery in Plymouth.

Stephen D. Williams
PLYMOUTH -- Stephen D. Williams, 56, of Plymouth, formerly of Knox, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010.
He is survived by his wife Tammie; daughters: April Sims of Plymouth, Amanda Williams of
Plymouth, and Rachel Belcher of Plymouth; son, Stephen Williams of LaPorte; brothers, Mike
Williams, Phillip Williams, and Bruce Williams, all of Knox; a sister, Linda Smith of Knox; and six
grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 26 at the Gospel Lighthouse
Church, Knox.
M.C. Smith Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Darrell J. Wilson
FORT WAYNE -- Darrell J. Wilson, 58, of Fort Wayne, passed away in his home on
Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 4:12 p.m. of natural causes.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Michelle (Dean) Ousley of Bourbon, Patricia
(Brandon) Gall of Milford, Crystal and (Samuel) Wallington of Kalona, Iowa, Nicholas Wilson of
Fort Wayne and Brian Wilson of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Bernice Wilson of
South Bend; and three brothers, Denny (Joan) Wilson of Mishawaka, Doug (Patricia) Wilson of
Traverse City, Mich. and Duane Wilson of Osceola.
A celebration of Darrell’s life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12 in the Deaton-Clemens Funeral
Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Bourbon with military honors. Memorial contributions
may be made to the family or a charity of your choice.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Lambert G. Georgen
PLYMOUTH -- Lambert G. Georgen, 82, of Plymouth, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, June 10,
2010, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.
He is survived by his daughter, Paulette Jordan of Texas; sons, Phillip Georgen of Illinois and
Paul and Donna Georgen of Plymouth; brothers, Vince Georgen of Florida and Gerald Georgen
of Florida; a sister, Mary Wolff of Illinois; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at Saint Zachary Catholic
Church, 567 W. Algonquin St., Des Plaines, Ill.
Burial will follow at Saint Michael the Archangel cemetery, 1185 W. Algonquin Road Palatine, Ill.
Tina M. Shepard
CULVER -- Tina M. Shepard, 54, of Culver, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Warsaw Meadows
Care Center, Warsaw.
She is survived by her mother, V. June Shepard of Culver; brothers: Leonard (Susan) Shields,
Jeff (Tracy) Shields, Roy (Leslie) Shepard, David (Carol) Shepard, and a sister, Linda
Wheatman, all of Chesterton.
Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 15 at the Odom Funeral Home,
Culver.
Funeral services will take place Tuesday at noon at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Independence cemetery, Medaryville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County Humane Society.
Sister Mary Cyril Coesens
DONALDSON -- Sister Mary Cyril Coesens, 95, PHJC died June 11, 2010 after an extended illness.
Sister lived in the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson, since 2002.
Born in Mishawaka, Ind. July 2, 1914, she was the daughter of Eugenia and Cyril Coesens.
Shortly after their marriage, they came to America and settled in the Belgium Parish of St. Bavo’s
in Mishawaka. Sister Cyril was “little but mighty.”
She loved and taught children in the elementary schools for 44 years.
In 1976, sister worked nights as a nurses aide and later in physical therapy.
Sister was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Alfred and Richard and two sisters,
Mary and Velma.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Sister Cyril will be Tuesday, June 15 from 4:30 to 9 p.m. in the Catherine Kasper
Home Chapel Donaldson. Evensong will be at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Resurrection for Sister Cyril will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday June 16 in the Catherine
Kasper Home Chapel. The Reverend Father Ed Konnerman and Reverend Father Michael
Winkowski will officiate.
Internment will be in Mount Carmel cemetery, Donaldson.

Yvonne Snyder
BREMEN -- Yvonne Snyder, 73, of Bremen, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Community
Hospital of Bremen.
She is survived by her husband Paul; sons: Dr. Frank (Kathy) Snyder of Bremen, Timothy
(Monique) Snyder of Sherman, Texas, and Kenneth (Kanda) Snyder of South Bend; a daughter,
Catherine Snyder of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17 at the Fair cemetery in Lakeville.
Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at the cemetery.
No memorial contributions are requested.

Rose Marie Cantore
KOONTZ LAKE -- Rose Marie Cantore, nee Lauzon, 69, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Oak Lawn, Ill.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Schmitt and Vincent Schmitt: daughters, Lisa (Tom) Brennan,
Tanya (John, CFD) Coffman and Tamara (Greg) Hoover; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren;
sisters, Margo (Roy) Urban and Rene Lauzon; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, June 21, at Rannells Funeral Home,
Koontz Lake Chapel.
Funeral services will take place at 12 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Grovertown cemetery.
Ronald Denney
ARGOS -- Ronald “Ron” Denney, 74, of 13349 Hickory Road, Argos, died of natural causes at
2:15 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Ron was born Oct. 10, 1935, in Argos. He was the son of Joseph and Cora Yeazel Denny. He
attended Richland Center and Plymouth schools.
Sept. 1, 1956, in Nappanee, Ron and Wanetta Young were married
. After 18 years, Ron retired
from the Reynolds Mill in Bourbon.
He enjoyed politics, fishing, yard work and sports, especially baseball and Nascar racing. He
kept fit by walking every day.
Ron is survived by his wife, Wanetta and by a daughter Shelley (Kris) Mikkelborg of Silverdale,
Wash. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Quin Lozier of Argos and Sierra and Brandon
Mikkelborg, both of Silverdale.
A great-granddaughter, Kyrie Lozier of Argos also survives, as well as three sisters: Barbara
Stouder of Nappanee, Sue (Dave) Ferris of Osceola, Ind., and Lonna Henry of Plymouth.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack Runyan; and a sister, Charmaine
Hatfield.
Friends are invited to share their memories with Ron’s family at the graveside services Tuesday,
June 15 at 1 p.m. in the New Oakhill cemetery.

Sharon E. Dunn
ROCHESTER -- Sharon E. Dunn, 59, of Rochester, died at 2:55 a.m. June 12, 2010 at Hospice
House in South Bend.
She is survived by her son, Steven Dunn of East Chicago, Ind.; daughters: Cheryl (John)
Lundeen of Rochester, Barbara Furlano of Wheatfield, and Jacqueline Dunn of East Chicago;
brothers, Timothy Doppler of Hammond, and Terry Doppler of Florida; brother-in-law, Michael
(Carolyn) Dunn of Highland; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Leiters Ford IOOF cemetery in Leiters Ford.
Jesse Martin Worman
GROVERTOWN -- Jesse Martin Worman, 87, of Grovertown, Ind. went to be with his Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ, June 12, 2010 at 1:40 p.m. while surrounded by his family in Catherine
Kasper Home, Donaldson, Ind.
Jesse was born July 26, 1922 in Chetek, Wis. to Martin Alfred and Maude Ellen (Perkins)
Worman. He was a 1941 graduate of Barron High School, Barron, Wis.
He left his Wisconsin farm to marry the love of his life and May 12, 1951, in Plymouth, Ind. Jesse
and Virginia Borggren began their life together. With the help of his father-in-law and brother-inlaw,
Jesse built the house they would call home for the remainder of their 59 years of marriage.
A hard worker who loved his job, Jesse was a precision grinder for South Bend Lathe Works,
South Bend, Ind., for 37 years. He also retired from the poultry operation he owned and operated
with his wife and daughters for many years.
He was a faithful member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Donaldson, where he was a
trustee for many years. In his younger years he was the catcher for their church softball league.
He was also a member of the church’s Friendship Class.
He was devoted first to God; then his wife and daughters. He was a wonderful grandfather who
set a great example for them at all times.
Jesse was always gentle in spirit yet strong in integrity and honesty. He found pleasure in raising
and caring for his horses and dogs. During his retirement, he enjoyed maintaining his home and
farm -- including his John Deere and Ford tractors.
He also enjoyed two trips to Hawaii and one to Alaska with his wife and a private guide -- their
daughter, Barb. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and respected him for the genuine
man he was.
Those left to treasure countless memories are his beloved wife: Virginia “Dolly” Worman,
Grovertown (Marshall County); two daughters and son-in-law: Kathleen “Kathy” and Jerry Titus,
Warsaw, and Barbara Worman, Plymouth; three grandchildren: John (Katie Hagedorn) Trzcinski
of Shelbyville, Ky., Kristina “Kristy” Trzcinski of Louisville, Ky. and Kevin (Mandy Sons) Trzcinski
of Louisville, Ky.; five great-grandchildren: Ashlyn, Eric, Evan, Skylar and Jesse; Melissa
Trzcinski, mother of Skylar and Jesse; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding his death but now reunited with him are his brother, Harold Worman (Sept. 6, 1991)
and his sisters: Hazel Worman (March 3, 1909) and Florence (Worman) Anderson (Nov. 1, 2000).
A time of sharing memories with family and friends will take place Thursday, June 17 from 4 to 8
p.m. in VanGilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison Street, Plymouth, as well as one hour prior to
the service.
A celebration of life service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, June 18 at the Evangelical Covenant
Church, 7810 Union Road, Donaldson.
Burial will follow in Swedish cemetery, Donaldson.
