Jeffrey A. Housour
NAPPANEE -- Jeffrey A. Housour, 30, of 253 S. Summit St., Nappanee, died unexpectedly
early Saturday morning at his residence of natural causes.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Jeanette Murdock Housour; sisters, Paula (Billy)
Thomaston, Nappanee, and Melissa (Thomas) Barth, Middlebury; and grandmother, Evagene
Murdock, Galien, Mich.
Visitation is Wednesday for two hours prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service at North Main Street
Mennonite Church in Nappanee.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nappanee Conservation Club.

Mildred M. Dillon Fetherolf
PLYMOUTH -- Former Plymouth resident Mildred M. Dillon Fetherolf, 93, of Martinsville, passed
away there Sunday, June 19, 2011.
She was born June 17, 1918 in Pittsboro to William C. and Julia E. (Shirley) Dillon. She
graduated from Pittsboro High School in 1936 and Ball State Teachers College in 1942. She
married David T. Fetherolf Jr. in 1943, he preceded her in death in 2003.
A Plymouth resident for more than 60 years, Mrs. Fetherolf will be remembered as a positive
influence by her students from Webster Elementary School where she taught fourth grade for 23
years. She was a faithful member of the Plymouth First United Methodist Church. She also did
volunteer work for the Red Cross, Friends of the Library, and the Adult Literacy Program in
Plymouth.
Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Cook, Keller Texas, son and daughter-in-law, David L. and
Mary Beth Fetherolf, Martinsville, and daughter-in-law Kenna Fetherolf Allison, Speedway;
grandchildren, Jennifer Howard, Indianapolis, Michele Calabrese (Jon), Southlake, Texas,
Melanie Foley (Brian), Martinsville, Jason Fetherolf (Shakira), Orlando Fla., Chera Brantley
(Alvin), Greenbrae, Calif., and Evan Fetherolf, Speedway; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were sisters, Mary Brackney Stewart, Georgia Church Hayes, Grace
Tuttle, and Betty Watts; and son, John C. Fetherolf.
Visitation will be held at the New Oakhill Chapel located on the grounds at Oakhill cemetery,
1300 Chester St. Plymouth Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 12 to 2 p.m. A family graveside service
will follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Americare Hospice and Home Health Care, 1150
N. Main, Franklin, IN 46131, or the First United Methodist Church 400 N. Michigan St., Plymouth,
IN 46563.
The Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth is assisting in local arrangements.

Carol J. Lemler
TIPPECANOE -- Carol J. Lemler, 74, of rural Tippecanoe, died Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 7:20
a.m. in Life Care Center Rochester.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; children; Jill (Tom) Neyhart of Crawfordsville, and Mike
(Kim) Lemler of Milford; five grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Lowell) Hisey of Rochester; and
brother, Jim (Mary) Redman of Leesburg.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S.
Main St., Bourbon.
A funeral service will be Wednesday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Tippecanoe cemetery at Tippecanoe.
The family requests memorial contributions are made in her memory to HOPE Hospice of Fulton
County.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home of Bourbon is in charge of funeral arrangements.

David F. Norris
ARGOS -- David F. Norris, 91, of Argos passed away June 19, 2011.
David was born to Everett and Eva (Hinshaw) Norris in Culver July 7, 1919. He was married to
Marjorie Miller in 1939. She preceded him in death in December 1984. He later married Lida
Thompson and she survives.
David served in the US Navy. He was stationed in New Caledonia in the South Pacific Theater
during World War II. He retired from the State Board of Accounts in 1984.
David is survived by his wife, Lida; daughter, Barbara (Don) Johnson of Millersburg and their
children, Amy, Connie, Cathy, and families; daughter-in-law Patty of Wheatfield, and children
Matthew and Laura and families. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tom.
A graveside service will be held at the New Oak Hill cemetery in Plymouth Tuesday, June 21,
2011 at 3 p.m. Interment will follow.
The Odom Funeral Home, Culver, is in charge of arrangements.

Clarence J. Olson
PLYMOUTH -- Clarence J. Olson, 89, an area resident for many years, passed away at 11:25
a.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth after an extended illness.
Clarence was born in Cleghorn, Iowa Aug. 12, 1921.
He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII.
Clarence first married Joella Farrar, who preceded him in death. He married Catherine L.
Bradfield Nov. 15, 1975.
He was owner and founder of NO-SLO, Inc.
Clarence enjoyed woodworking, caring for his roses and going to yard sales. He was a member
of North Liberty Masonic Lodge #266, F & AM, South Bend Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine,
a past Worthy Patron of the Plymouth Chapter #26, Order of the Eastern Star. He was also an
active member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Donaldson.
Clarence is survived by Catherine, his wife of 35 years; stepchildren, Vern (Erin) Farrar of Frisco,
Texas, Sheryl (Mike) Caslow of Donaldson, Bob (Jody) Bradfield of Moline, Ill., Ted (Kathy)
Bradfield of Indianapolis; and Bryan (Penny) Bradfield of Plymouth; 13 grandchildren; and 16
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joella; and a stepson, S.W. (Butch) Farrar.
Friends will be welcomed by the family at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan
St., Plymouth Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. Masonic services will be held in the
funeral home at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services for Clarence will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 in the funeral
home. The Rev. Denise Anderson, pastor of the Evangelical Covenant Church, Donaldson will
officiate.
Military rites will be accorded to Clarence at the graveside by the Plymouth American Legion,
VFW, and DAV.
Interment will be in Oakhill cemetery, Plymouth.

Ramona J.
PLYMOUTH -- Ramona J. Everly, 73, 822 Dickman St., Plymouth, passed away Monday, June
20, 2011, at 9:20 a.m., at her home.
Ramona was born March 15, 1938, in Hamlet to Ivan and Velda (Hendricks) Singleton. She
started working at Rose’s and then the Hi-De-Ho truck stops in Hamlet before she was married .
Clarence 'Bud' Everly and Ramona were married Jan. 5, 1957, in Grovertown. They owned and
operated Everly Sewer Service. Bud passed away Dec. 10, 1998. Ramona ran the business,
even after Bud’s death. She drove school bus for the Plymouth Community Schools for 30 years
and retired when she lost the sight in her left eye. She enjoyed baking and cooking and always
'made enough for an army.' Homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, apple pies, and apple
dumplings, were some of her specialties. At Halloween there were always homemade popcorn
balls to be given out to the 'trick-or-treaters.' Ramona loved to be with her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren and was always doing special things with them.
Ramona is survived by her daughter, Carol (Jackie) Chapman of Plymouth; her grandson,
Michael Chapman and his fiancée Heather O’Conner of Plymouth; her granddaughter, Lisa (Bill)
Lovely of Plymouth; her great-grandchildren, Haley Chapman, Zoey Chapman, Braxton
Chapman, and Liberty Lovely; her stepson Dwain (Margie) Everly of Plymouth; her stepdaughter,
Pat (Jim) Pegan of Roseland; her stepgranddaughters, Carrie Pegan, Michelle (Curt) Jensen,
and Becky Jordan; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lane Everly, Christopher Everly, Cameron
Jordan, Chloe Jordan, and Morgan Jensen; her brothers, Larry (Lena) Singleton of Koontz Lake,
and James (Pat) Singleton of Walkerton; and her sisters, Ida (Eugene) Roberson of Plymouth,
Velma (Pete) Phenis of Walkerton, and Glenna (Leigh Roy) Hahn of North Judson. She was
preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, and her great-grandchild, Braden J. Chapman.

PLYMOUTH -- Mary Beth Town, 75, died at 7:40 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at St. Joseph
Regional Medical Center, Plymouth campus due to natural causes.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, friends, and her extended family of caregivers.
Visitation is Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home,
1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Services will follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Highland cemetery, South Bend.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pathfinder Services Inc., 1601 W. Jefferson St.,
Plymouth, IN 46563.

Veloice L. Whitsel
BREMEN -- Veloice L. Whitsel, 95, of Bremen died Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Bremen
Health Care Center.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Crothers of Bremen, Marcia Osterbur of Bremen,
Helen (Keith) Bellman of Bremen, and Katie Delong of Bryon, Ohio; several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; and sister, Delores Harris of Delphi.
Funeral service was held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Bremen cemetery Chapel.
Friends called from 4 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bremen.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

Margaret A. Hurford
MONTEREY -- Margaret A. Hurford, 50, of Monterey died June 21, 2011 at 3:47 p.m. at Pulaski
Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Hurford of Monterey; parents, William and Lena
Shideler Zehner of Monterey; daughters, Marla M. Hurford, Melinda A. Hurford, and Miranda E.
Hurford, all of Monterey; sons, Michael E. Hurford, Matthew W. Hurford, and Mark J. Hurford, all
of Monterey; two granddaughters; brothers, Joe (Sandy) Zehner of Plymouth, Bill Zehner of
Monterey, Matthew (Carol) Zehner of Monterey, and Mark (Jannie) Zehner of Culver; sisters,
Amy (Don) Housinger of Winamac, Loretta (John) Deason of Plymouth, and Marcella (Chad)
Hopple of Plymouth.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church, Culver, Monday, June 27 at
10 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Anne’s cemetery, Monterey.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at Frain Mortuary.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church, Culver.

Joyce M. Schrader
WALKERTON -- Joyce M. Schrader, 75, of Walkerton died June 21, 2011.
She is survived by her four children, Nichole 'Niki' Schrader of Fishers, Ashley (Diane) Schrader
of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Carter Schrader of South Bend, and Nick (Julie) Schrader of Carmel; four
grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Ann (Ken) Voth of South Bend, and Kay Hay of
Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one brother, Larry Hay of LaPorte.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville where
friends visited with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24. Contributions may be donated to
the charity of the donor’s choice.

June M. York
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- June M. York, 84, of Port Charlotte, Fla. passed away Wednesday,
June 22, 2011. She was born June 25, 1926 in North Manchester to Paul and Bernice Hostettler.
She attended nursing school at Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, Ill. where she earned a
registered nursing degree in September, 1947. May 11, 1947, she married Roger York of
Plymouth. She is survived by her three children, Capt. James K York, USN (ret) of Pensacola,
Fla., Dr. Kenneth N. York of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Patricia E. York of Chicago, Ill; six
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held July 15, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Edgewater United Methodist
Church in Port Charlotte, Fla. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in memory of June
York to a charity of your family’s choice.
