Services for Dale A. Paoli, 55, formerly of Buffalo Grove, will begin with prayers at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
Born April 30, 1943, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum.
Mr. Paoli had been employed as a computer programmer for Kemper Insurance for more than 23 years. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus 361 in Chicago and a member of the Boy Scouts of America Order of the Arrow.
Survivors include his wife of more than 30 years, Mary Anne Paoli (nee Blum); daughters, Andrea (Brett) Page of Minooka, Ill., and JenniferPaoli of Arlington Heights; parents, Charles C. and Irene (nee Wolski) Paoli; brother, Dennis (Geraldine) Paoli; sister, Charlene (Richard) Wilczynski; six nieces; and three nephews.

James Piccolo of Rolling Meadows
Memorial services for James Piccolo, 78, will be held at 7 p.m. today, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
Born March 27, 1920, in Atlantic City, N. J., Mr. Piccolo died Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, at Manor Care in Arlington Heights.
He was a retired office manager for the Kirch Drapery and Hardware Company. He was a veteran of World War II
Army Air Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Isabelle (nee Kudlicki); children, Jan Yates, James (Jennifer), Richard (Wanda), Vincent, Thomas (Gail), Mary Terlecki and Patricia Andres; grandchildren, Barry (Roseann) Yates, Michelle, Jill, Anthony, Michael, Laura, Jamesand William Piccolo, Gina (Rich) Beatty, Timothy, Jaclyn, Courtney and Kaitlyn Terlecki; and great-grandchildren, Kyle Yates and Elizabeth Beatty.

William J. Robertson of Lake Zurich
Memorial services for William J. Robertson, 94, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Born Dec. 17, 1904, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1999, at The Scottish Home in North Riverside. Interment will be private.
Mr. Robertson was a member of the IBEW Local #134, and was a Mason belonging to Westchester Pleiades Lodge #478 A. F. &A. M., the Clearwater Lodge #127 A. F. & A. M. and the St. Andrews Society at the Scottish Home.
Survivors include hisdaughter, Liane (Norman) Falkanger of Lake Zurich; grandchildren, William (Marcia), Scott (Mary), Kristy (John) Riedel and Heidi (Doug) Peters; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha S. Robertson; brothers, Ben, Dan, George and Howard; and sister, Dolly Swanson.

Thomas G. Rudd of Gurnee
A funeral Mass for Thomas G. Rudd, 78, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Church of St. Patrick in Wadsworth.
Born April 16, 1920, the son of Thomas and Loretta Rudd, he died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
He was a member of the Teamsters Local #301. He retired in 1976, after 30 years of service at the Co-op Dairy in Waukegan. He retired in 1985, from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, as director of transportation.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Rose (nee Mauser); daughters, Marie (Frank) Normoyle of Gurnee and Marge (Art) Wierzelewskiof Union Grove, Wis.; son, Robert (Nancy) Rudd of New Glarus, Wis.; grandchildren, John Anderson, Betsy Anderson, Christine Normoyle and Cathleen Normoyle; brother, John (Patricia) Rudd; and sisters, Eileen Paustian and Sarann (Ronald) Granstrom.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Edward Rudd.

Born July 3, 1931, in Walla Walla, the daughter of Cyrus M. and Tessie (nee Holmes) Nelson, she diedFriday, Feb. 5, 1999, at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva. Interment will be in Blue Mountain Cemetery.
Virginia possessed the gift of giving totally unconditional love and she extended it beyond her immediate family to so very very many, and particularly wrapped her protective wings around Aaron, Fran, Jim and Michelle, in their times of need. She enjoyed her special times with her grandchildren, dancing, traveling, crafts and working with silk arrangements through her creative talents. She was a longtime member of the Midwest Women's Golf Club, serving on their board, giving her time and talents to the organization. Her frustration with the game was obscured by her love of the people who played it with her.
Survivors include her husband, Wilburn H. Sutherland, whom she married on Sept. 14, 1952, at Pioneer United Methodist Church in Walla Walla; daughter, Gina (William) Pinkepank of Lancaster, Pa.; son, Randy (Jeanetta) Sutherland of Naperville; grandchildren, Elinka, Ashley, Corey and Tessa Sutherland, and Brett, Kelly and Kristi Pinkepank; sisters, Illyne (Avery) Koch and Lois Nalder, both of Walla Walla; brother, Leland (Mary) Nelson of Boise, Idaho; and many loving extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cyrus Nelson.
