Harry Rosenberg of Northbrook
Funeral services for Harry Rosenberg, 89, formerly of Skokie, will beheld at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Temple Chai (on Checker Road, just west of Arlington Heights Road), Long Grove (first light north of Lake-Cook Road).
Interment will be in Hebrew Workers Cemetery, Waldheim, Forest Park.
Mr. Rosenberg was a Chicago grocer for more than 30 years.
He was the beloved husband for 52 years of Holly (nee Goldwag); loving father of Dr. Mark (Barbara) Rosenberg, Bert (Sandi) Rosenberg and Annalee (Arthur) Herbstman; adored grandfather of Michael, Jonathan, Lauren and Aaron Rosenberg and Randall, Jeffrey and Benjamin Herbstman; and cherished brother-in-law of Arie (the late Gala) Zak.
Five siblings preceded him in death.

Robert F. Schulz of Algonquin
Funeral services for Robert F. Schulz, 64, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church in Algonquin. The Rev. Michael J. Tierney will officiate.
Born Sept. 3, 1934, in Chicago, to Robert A. and Marie Laga Schulz, he died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999. Burial will be in Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
Mr. Schulz was employed as a pipefitter. He was a longtime member of Lake in the Hills American Legion Post #1231, Pipefitters Local #597, and St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church of Algonquin.
He is survived by wife, Camille Siudut Schulz, whom he married in 1960; sons, Robert A. (Michelle) Schulz of Lake in the Hills and Scott F. (Jessica) Schulz of McHenry; daughter, Tammy L. (Jim) Schulz of Tulsa, Okla.; and grandchildren, Megan and Tyler Robert Schulz of Lake in the Hills, and Samantha Schulz of McHenry and Tyler James Schulz ofTulsa, Okla.

Mrs. Steenwyk had retired in 1997 from Armour-Swift Eckrich inDowners Grove after 10 years of service. She was a member of Wheaton Christian Reformed Church and a former member of the Women's Auxiliary Board at Elim Christian School in Palos Heights.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Steenwyk; sons, Gary (Cheryl) Steenwyk of Glen Rock, Pa., and Jeffrey (Christine) Steenwyk of Rolling Meadows; daughters, Cathy Steenwyk of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Maj. Pattie (Mark) Palmer of Fort Leavenworth, Kan.; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Garret Ruit of Hawthorne, N. J.; and sisters, Hester (John) Van Buiten of Wyckoff, N. J., and Alberta (Stanley) Vandenberg of Midland Park, N. J.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Abram and Flora Ruit; and sister, Madeline Laauwe.

Harry O. Swanson Jr. of Arlington Heights
Services for Harry O. Swanson Jr., 59, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.
Born March 31, 1939, in Chicago, he died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
A veteran, Mr. Swanson had served two enlistments in the Navy and twice served as commander of the American Legion Post Merle Guild 208 in Arlington Heights. He was a retired pipe fitter and a member of Pipe Fitters Union 597 for 33 years, and had worked for 15 years for American Engineers of Arlington Heights.
Survivors include his wife, Millie Swanson (nee Santiago); children, Harry D. (Michele), Michael J. (Lisa), Lisa M. and Erik R. Swanson; grandchildren, Moriah, Abigail, Alec and Brandon Swanson; brother, Donald (Rose) Swanson; and sisters, Caroline (James) Cypher and MaryLynn Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Swanson.
