Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin, with Bill Sanders officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Van Natta Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Robison was born on Aug. 12, 1918, in West Frankfort, to Oscar Williams and Fannie (Davis) Williams. She married Samuel Robison and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Lydia and Tom Sotka of Elmhurst; two grandchildren, Heather and John Lough of Chicago and Lucas Sotka of Wonder Lake; one great-grandchild, Grace Lough of Chicago; one sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Richard Missavage of Florissant, Mo.; and one brother, Ward Williams of Florissant, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Ella Rom.

MURPHYSBORO -- Loving father and husband Gary A. Brown, 55, of Murphysboro, went home to the Lord at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, with Pastor Charles Allen of Elm Street Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Murdale Gardens of Memory in Murphysboro. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home. Gary was born on July 30, 1949, in Carbondale, to William A. and Norma Jean (Bradley) Brown. He married on Robin Lynn Malloy on Oct. 1, 1988, in Johnson County. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. 'Bill' Brown, on Dec. 5, 2003, and his mother, Norma Jean Brown, on Nov. 2, 1993. One nephew also preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Robin Brown of Murphysboro; five sons Brian, Eric, Corey, Shane and Austin Brown, all of Murphysboro; one grandson, Michael Brown of Murphysboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Regina Brown of Herrin, formerly of Murphysboro; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Marvin Jones of Carbondale; two nephews, Chris and Sean Jones of Carbondale. Gary was a painting contractor and former owner of the Fishnet in Carbondale and the Jeanery in Murphysboro. He was a member of the Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro and served in the U. S.
Army and National Guard. Our beloved Gary will be deeply missed by his familyand friends.
Harry B. Montgomery Jr.
SESSER -- Harry B. Montgomery Jr., 76, who had recently returned home to Sesser, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. Mr. Montgomery was born on Sept. 30, 1928, to Harry B. Sr. and Artie M. (Cockrum) Montgomery, in Barren Township in Franklin County. Harry had a long career of training and racing horses which began at the Franklin County Fairgrounds and lasted throughout his life. Harry was a longtime member of the Horseman's Benevolence Protective Association. Harry loved his family; bluegrass music; and going dancing with his wife, Imogene. Mr. Montgomery was united in marriage to Imogene Boswell, his wife of 55 years, on Nov. 27, 1949, and she survives. They were blessed with four children, 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren: Terryl Montgomery and children Josh, Amanda and Ashley; Rhonda Hutson and husband Terry and children Ryan Huie and wife Jennifer and daughter Rylin, Joel Huie and wife Ammie and son Grant and Darren and Kaitlin Hutson; William B. 'Hoppy' and wife Lori Montgomery; Jennifer Montgomery Phillips and husband Mike and sons Christopher and Colton; and Marcy Arnett and husband Darren and children Adreanna Harvey and husband Jason and daughter Presleigh and Jeremy, Vanessa, Samantha, Jared, April and daughter Mekaela. Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by his brother, Billie Jean; three sisters, Ila Flatt and Alene and Wanda Montgomery; and two nephews, Farrell and Jim Flatt. Services for Mr. Montgomery will be held at 2 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Chapel, located on Illinois 148 and Park Street Road in Sesser. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, with the Rev. Stephen Gray and Sister Connie Keyes officiating. Burial will be in Hammonds Cemetery.

MOUNT VERNON -- Claude C. Lewis, 80, of Longwood, Fla., formerly of Mount Vernon, died at 6:08 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, in Florida Hospital in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Private services were held, however a public memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no public visitation. Arrange-ments have been entrusted to the care of Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Claude served as high school principal at West Salem and as superintendent at Auburn, Grayville and Sesser-Valier schools. He was a veteran of the U. S.
Army during World War II. He was a member of the Rotary Club, Lions Club, the American Legion and the National Education Association. Mr. Lewis was born on Jan. 27, 1924, in Sesser, to Archie Lewis and Dena Elizabeth (Clayton) Lewis. He married Phyllis G. (McBride) Lewis on March 9, 1946, in Benton. She died on July 11, 2004. Survivors include his daughter, Shelia Millar and husband Jerry of Longwood, Fla.; grandchildren, Sabra Condra and husband Jim and Joel Millar and fianc Natalia Sorgente of Washington, D. C.; sister, Clara Mae Maddox; and special family friends, Roy and Shirley Browm of Mount Vernon; and several nieces and nephews also survive. His parents and wife preceded him in death.
Glenn Jackson 'Elec' Moore
JONESBORO -- Glenn Jackson 'Elec' Moore, 95, of Jonesboro, passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones at 7:55 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, in Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro. He was born on Nov. 12, 1909, in Jonesboro, the son of John and Jennie Carter Moore. He married Wanda Winn on Sept. 13, 1935, in Jonesboro; she preceded him in death Sept. 27, 2000. He was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church near Cobden. He was employed with the Viking Freight Company for 19 years and later worked for the Fruit Belt Service Station in Jonesboro and retired after 19 years of employment. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Carolyn Moore of Cobden, and Frank and Anne Moore of Anna; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jeff Norton of Alto Pass; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son and one brother. Services for Mr. Glenn Jackson 'Elec' Moore will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with Mark Laster officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. CHRISTOPHER -- Augestine M. Cadelli, 79, of Christopher, formerly of St. Louis, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in Herrin Hospital. Mr. Cadelli wished to be cremated. There will be no services. Interment will be in Masonic and IOOF Cemetery
in Benton. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southern Illinois Kidney Memorial Trust Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home. Mr. Cadelli was a retired merchant in the food industry. He was a member of the St. Andrews Catholic Church in Christopher. He was born on May 5, 1925, in Christopher, to Louis Cadelli and Louise Cadelli. He married Mary Lou Hoey and she preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Michael Cadelli and David Cadelli both of St. Louis; and two grandchildren, Andrew Cadelli and Ryann Cadelli both of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

MARION -- Eugene 'Gene' P. Pease, 82, of Carbondale formerly of Marion, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in Helia Healthcare in Carbondale. Gene was born on Dec. 8, 1922, to Carl W. and Rosie Mae (Copher) Pease in Marion. He married Louise Sumner on Nov. 9, 1947, in Marion and she survives in Carbondale. Gene was retired from Ameren CIPS. Gene was a World War II
Army Veteran. He was a member of University Baptist Church of Carbondale, the IBEW No. 702 and VFW Post No. 1301 of Marion. Gene is survived by his wife Louise of Carbondale; three sons, Gerald E. Pease of Manhattan, Mont., Paul Richard Pease and his wife Laura of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Michael Joe Pease of Carbondale; one daughter, Sherry Hingtgen of Urbana; five grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Christopher of Marion. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Bob Pease. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, with Pastor Sam Foskey officiating.
