Roger Lee Eichhorn of Mount Prospect
Services for Roger Lee Eichhorn, 48, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Harvest Bible Chapel, 800 Rohlwing Road, Rolling Meadows.
Born April 10, 1950, in Minneapolis, Minn., he died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at home, after a 3 1/2 year battle with lymphoma.
Mr. Eichhorn worked in computer services in the MIS department of Vision in Oak Brook. He was a 1968 graduate of Edina High School in Minnesota, received his bachelor of science degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, and his master's degree from DePaul University in Chicago. He was a certified public accountant, a CMA, and owned computer and accounting services for many years.
Roger is now at rest with his personal Saviour, Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Eichhorn; daughters, April, age 21, and Emily, age 20, both attending college; father, Elden S. (Betty) Eichhorn; brothers, Richard E. and Steven C. (Beth) Eichhorn; sister, Sue (Mendal) Eichhorn Mearkle; nieces, Kelly Hays, Karen Hays and Katlyn Eichhorn; and nephew, Jake Eichhorn.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Stock Eichhorn.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church would be appreciated.

Harry L. Gately of Wheaton
Services for Harry L. Gately, 66, will be held at a later date at DuPage Unitarian Church.
Born March 17, 1932, in LaSalle, Ill., he died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at home. Interment will be private.
Mr. Gately was a corporate planner with Sears Roebuck and Company for many years. He was also actively involved with the United Way.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Gately; and sons, Hart (Susan) and Sean Gately.
Memorials may be made to the DuPage Symphony Orchestra, PO Box 488, Glen Ellyn, IL 60138-0488.

Judith A. `Judy' Grauman of Wonder Lake
A funeral Mass for Judith A. `Judy' Grauman, 57, will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Christ the King Church in Wonder Lake.
Born Oct. 31, 1941, in Evanston, to Rudolph and Blanche (nee Wolfe) Schuler, she died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at ManorCare in Elgin. Inurnment will be in Christ the King Cemetery.
Mrs. Grauman was raised and educated in Woodstock, where she attended St. Mary Elementary School and graduated from St. Mary High School in 1959. She entered St. Therese School of Nursing in Waukegan in 1959, and graduated in 1962. For 25 years she worked as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for McHenry County (now Memorial Medical Center), and for the last 10 years she was employed by the pharmacy at Wal-Mart in McHenry.
Mrs. Grauman was a member of Christ the King Church in Wonder Lake. Formerly she was active in the Girl Scouts of America, where she served as a leader.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Roger H. Grauman, whom she married Sept. 15, 1962; daughters, Sherri Grauman of Crystal Lake, Lorri (Christopher) Gramer of Lake in the Hills and Karri Grauman of Lake in the Hills; grandchildren, Robert Grauman and Brandon Gramer; sister, Karen (Don) Froelich of Palatine; and brothers, Paul (Maureen) Schuler of Roscoe and David (Gail) Schuler of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with the family from 6:30 p.m. until the time of Mass at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to a medical research charity in Judy's name.

William F. Griffith of Arlington Heights
Services for William F. Griffith, 72, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights.
Born Aug. 9, 1926, in Chicago, he died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. Interment will be in Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
Bill owned the Griffith Insurance Agency in Arlington Heights for more than 25 years. During that time, he was actively involved in the community. He was commander of the Merle Guild Post 208 of the American Legion, actively involved in First Methodist Delegate to Conference, UnitedWay and Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of school board #214 during the planning of John Hersey High School, which he felt was one of the most challenging and gratifying experiences of his life.
He loved politics on both sides of the aisle. He ran for offices in Cook County, the Metropolitan Sanitary District and the Cook County Board andwas active in the Wheeling Township Democratic Organization. He was interested in issues for the aging, coordinator of Senior Action Program for Lt. Governor Dave O'Neal's office. He worked with Operation ABLE, finding work for older adults.
He was director of marketing for the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce from 1993 to 1997, where he recruited more than 300 new members.
Bill was a true baseball fan proud to be able to hit an 85 mile an hour fast pitch. He never retired from life. He had opinions on many subjects and loved to share them - often in letters to the editor and his mailings to friends and family. He enjoyed all kinds of music, bought a piano and took lessons for thepast two years.
He was proud of his children and grandchildren, and loved and nurtured them.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. (nee Lord); children, John W. (Diane) of Westchester, Robert J. (Jackie) of Homewood, Elizabeth Anne (Thomas) Griffith of Arlington Heights and Heidi (Stephen) Bradfield of Glendale, Ariz.; brothers, L. Allan (Shirlee) of Fort Pierce, Fla. and J. Harry (Violet) Griffith of Wheeling; and grandchildren, Erin, Brendan, Melissa, Kyle, Cory, Garett, Maia, Kayla, Samantha and Andrew.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas E. Griffith.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Erna L. Hagenson of Des Plaines
Memorial services for Erna L. Hagenson (nee Jonsson), 95, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 Algonquin Road, Des Plaines.
Born March 15, 1903, inHorsens, Denmark, she died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at Oakton Pavillion, Des Plaines.
Interment will be private.
A homemaker, she was the beloved wife of the late Harold A. Hagenson; loving mother of Harold (Jean) Hagenson of Palatine and the late Phyllis Alsedek; dear mother-in-law of Al (Connie) Alsedek; cherished sister of Warren (the late Helen) Jonsson and the late Hans (the late Marie) Jonsson and Ellen (the late John) Elroy; devoted grandmother of four; and great-grandmother of three.

Clara C. Hannen of Wheaton
Services for Clara C. Hannen, 90, will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
Born Feb. 16, 1908, in New York City, N. Y., she died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Interment will be held Tuesday, in Wheaton Cemetery.
Mrs. Hannen is survived by her son, Charles (Karen) Hannen of Wheaton; stepson, Raymond (Sara) Hannen of Columbus, Ga.; grandchildren, Gayle, David and Robert Hannen, Donna (John) Allen, Beth (Kevin) Ferguson and Pam (Todd) Johnson; andsix great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Edgar Hannen in 1985; and sister, Helen Bauer.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services Monday, at the funeral home.

Caroline M. Hughes of Woodstock
Services for Caroline M. Hughes (nee Slick), 84, formerly of Phoenix, Ariz., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Windridge Memorial Park Chapel, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary. The Rev. Roger Schneider, pastor of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in McHenry, will officiate.
Born July 22, 1914, in St. Paul, Minn., she died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at Woodstock Memorial Hospital. Interment will follow the services.
Mrs. Hughes was a retired assembly worker for Jensen Manufacturing in Fox Lake.
Survivors include her son, Richard (Lucy) Hughes of Goleta, Calif.; daughters, Abadine (Robert) Domke of Island Lake and Gail (Jeff) Arnold of Woodstock; sisters, Josephine Fredricksen and Dolores White, both of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Abdo David and Jerald R. Hughes.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of services Tuesday, at the cemetery chapel.

Oscar R. Huster of Vernon Hills
Visitation for Oscar R. Huster, 93, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park (Route 176), Libertyville, with graveside services following in Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville.
Born Oct. 3, 1905, in St. Louis, Mo., he passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at ManorCare Health Services, Libertyville.
Mr. Huster formerly had been a resident of Oak Park for many years and of Vero Beach, Fla., for 17 years. He had lived in Vernon Hills for the past three years. A retired electrical engineer, he had been an employee of Commonwealth Edison for 46 years. He was also a former member of Parkview Presbyterian Church in Oak Park.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Ethel Huster of Hawthorn Lakes in Vernon Hills; son, Robert (Marilyn) Huster of Libertyville; grandchildren, John (Jill) Huster of Terre Haute, Ind., and Katherine (Richard) Landreman of Short Hills, N. J.; and great-grandchildren, John Craig and Christopher Huster, and Nicole Landreman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Clara Huster; and sister, Helen Tousley.

Rosemarie E. Jonas of Streamwood
Services for Rosemarie E. Jonas (nee Fick), 58, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg.
Born June 7, 1940, in Chicago, she died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village.
Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
A 14-year resident of Streamwood, she worked for Schaumburg Transportation for 12 years as a bus driver.
She was the wife of 14 years of Al; mother of Michael DeMore of California, David (Laura) DeMore of Wisconsin, Beverly Welch of California and Lisa (Ronald) Behning of Elgin; daughter of Florence and the late Ralph Fick; sister of Bette Fick and the late Ralph Fick; and grandmother of Peter and Paul DeMore, Daniel Welch, Linda and Jason DeMore, and Andrew and Michael Behning.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

John D. King of Barrington
A memorial service for John D. King, 69, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at St. Mark Episcopal Church, 337 Ridge Rd., Barrington Hills, IL 60010. Father George Hull will officiate.
Born Dec. 15, 1929, in Chicago, the son of Daniel and Hildred King, he passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Governors Park Nursing Home in Barrington, after a long illness.
Mr. King graduated from Hirsch High School in1948, attended Wilson Junior College and the University of Illinois, and served as an officer in the Signal Corps during the Korean War. He had a long and successful career in broadcast advertising, working as an executive for Henry I. Christal Company, Peters Griffin Woodward and CBS, WBBM-TV.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, BarbaraKing (nee Morgan); sons, Justin (Heidi) of Winnetka, Jason of Atlanta, Ga. and Jared of Freeport; sister, MarjorieWhitmore of Tampa, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Memorials would be appreciated in his memory to St. Mark Episcopal Church.
