DECATUR -- Gary E. Riley, 50, of Decatur died 3:50 a.m. Saturday (April 5, 2003) in his home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. It was Gary's wish that everyone attending his services dress casual. Memorials: DMH Home Health & Hospice Services.
Gary was born Feb. 28, 1953, in Decatur, to Beverly Westbrook Riley Montgomery. He attended Stephen Decatur High School. He was a member of Laborers Local 159 for 35 years. He was a very strong union member. He was a very big Dale Earnhardt fan. He was also loyal to his faithful canine companion, Rennie.
Surviving are his mother, Beverly and Earl Baker, both of Decatur; special cousins, Sue Gillen and husband Jim and family; Debbie Crawford and husband Robert and family; special second cousin, Greg Gillen; aunt and uncle, Patricia and Donald Rodcrick; cousins, Donna Sullivan and husband Gary and family; Jill Blue and family; a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, two aunts, two uncles and two cousins.
The family wishes to express their special thanks to Woody David, Cancer Care Specialists Staff, DMH Home Health & Hospice Services, Dr. William Franklin, Dr. Edward Elliott and Dr. Perry Guaglianone for all their wonderful care during Gary's illness.

CERRO GORDO -- Michael Keith Dunn, 25, of Cerro Gordo died Friday (April 4, 2003) as a result of an automobile accident.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the church with 8 p.m. Masonic rites. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Cerro Gordo, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: children of Michael Dunn.
Michael was born Dec. 19, 1977, in Decatur, the son of Jack K. Dunn and Helen Noll Dunn. He was a member of Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church, Cerro Gordo Masonic Lodge 600 AF & AM and a volunteer of the Cerro Gordo Fire Department. He enjoyed music and was a part of a church trio. He married Trisha Bridge McDonald on Aug. 23, 2002, in Cerro Gordo.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Makena and Ainsley McDonald, both at home; parents of Decatur; sisters, Melissa Estes of Decatur; Sheryl Lewis of Chester; Debra Dunn of Danville; half sisters and brother, Lindsay Seager and Steven Seager, both of Decatur; Candace Carr of Bloomington; Holly Sancken of Pontiac.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Keith Dunn.

Mildera Monroe was born June 30, 1926, in Arthur, the daughter of Harold and Edith Binegar Monroe. She worked as a nurse's aide for the Arthur Home for more than 20 years. She was a member of Arthur First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her brother, James Monroe of Japan; sister, Betty Verhaalen of Apache Junction, Ariz.
