Hendrix
CLINTON -- Aleta Z. Hendrix, 91, of Clinton died 4:43 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 27, 2003) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Argenta Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michel Wakeland officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, and one hour before services in the church. Burial will be in
Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Memorials: DeWitt County Friendship Center or Argenta Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Hendrix was born Sept. 8, 1911, in Bement, the daughter of Bert and Clara Burchard Loudenback. She joined the Clinton United Methodist Church after the Shiloh United Methodist Church closed. She was a member of Creek Township Home Extension. She enjoyed working with her hands, knitting, crocheting, plastic canvas, embroidering and quilting. She married Paul E. Hendrix on June 22, 1929, in Cerro Gordo. He passed away in 1968. She and her husband farmed in the Maroa area for many years.
Surviving are her daughter, Betty Ann (Victor) Kizer of Maroa; grandchildren, Randall (Lisa) Kizer of Jacksonville, Fla.; Kevin Kizer of Chicago; Kenneth (Lori) Kizer of Zwingle, Iowa; Pamela (Doug) LeConte of White Heath; great-grandchildren, Devon Kizer, Preston Kizer, Paige Kizer, Payton Kizer, Hunter LeConte, Hayden LeConte and RubyAnn Kizer; brother, Robert (Luan) Loudenbeck of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
She will be missed very much by her family.

Luttrell
TAYLORVILLE -- Penny L. Luttrell, 74, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Taylorville, died 3 a.m. Friday (Feb. 28, 2003) in her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Sutton Memorial Homes Chapel, Taylorville. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
Mrs. Luttrell was born Dec. 13, 1928, in Green County, Snow Hill, N.C., the daughter of Jack and Idea Fields Durham. She was a homemaker. She married Bobby A. Luttrell on Feb. 2, 1954, in Dover, N.C. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 2002.
Surviving are her daughter, Sheree Banks of Albany; son, Tony Luttrell of St. Louis, Mo.; grandson, Evan Banks of Albany; granddaughter, Rachel Crawford of Albany; sisters, Lillian Evans of Newport, N.C.; Anne Durham of Dover, N.C.; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and six sisters.
Wilson
ILLIOPOLIS -- Barbara Joyce Wilson, 65, of Springfield died 4:30 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 27, 2003) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home, Illiopolis, with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorials: Richard L. Wilson Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of
Prairie State Bank, Illiopolis.
Mrs. Wilson was born May 4, 1937, in Athens, the daughter of Amos and Daisy Litherland Powell. She was retired from the State of Illinois Department of Corrections. She was past president of POLK of A, a life member of American Legion Post, VFW Post 10302 and member of Eagles Lodge 437. She married Richard L. Wilson. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Surviving is her son, Richard L. (Sheri) Wilson II of Queens Creek, Ariz.; daughters, Linda (Randy) Havener and Sandy (Randy) LeBeane, both of Illiopolis; Cyndi (Lance) Bumpus of Plymouth, Ind.; Patty (Bud) Price of LeRoy; 15 grandchildren; companion, Jim Schroeder of Springfield; two sisters; six brothers; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, two sisters and daughter, Barbara K. Wilson, in 1962.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, with visitation 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Sydney was born Feb. 22, 2003, in Chicago, the daughter of Lee Alen and Melody Shawn Carry Parks.

DECATUR -- Helen Jean Bagby, 77, of Petersburg died 10:34 p.m. Friday (Feb. 28, 2003) in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter Catholic Church, Petersburg, with Monsignor Carl Kemme officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in Hurly Funeral Home, Petersburg, with 4:30 p.m. prayer service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Petersburg. Mrs. Bagby was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Joliet, the daughter of Samuel MacCallum and Beatrice Meadmore. She was a former member of ROTC, a member and supporter of the PORTA band and athletic booster clubs. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Illinois State University and her master's degree in elementary education from the University of Illinois. She was a retired kindergarten teacher for the Petersburg schools for 30 years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Petersburg, Menard County Historical Society and Friends of the Petersburg Public Library. She read weekly to patients in Menard Convalescent Center, was secretary of the board of Edgar Lee Masters Home and was a Cub Scout den mother. She married Raleigh G. Bagby on July 1, 1950, in Chicago. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1995.
Surviving are her sons, Raleigh and wife Anne Bagby of Clear Lake, Iowa; Derek and wife Michelle Bagby of Petersburg; daughters, LaWain Miller and husband Nick of Simpson; Lorrie Durbin and husband Ed of Decatur; grandchildren, Nicholas, James, Marc, Melissa, Jeffrey, Shara, Trisha and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Nicholas III; several nieces and nephews.
